Sigh… I needed a break. I spent a lot of time thinking about truth, lies, and humor. I think humor is what keeps a lot of us sane and we’d really be stressed beyond reason without it. I don’t mind humor that exaggerates the truth, pokes fun at known quirks and peccadillos (how often do I get to use that word?) but I can’t accept flat out falsehoods, regardless of whether they’re coming from the left or right. I can’t even accept them when used for humor, if they’re completely untrue. For me, flat out lying is simply wrong, even if it’s my side doing the lying. I understand that not everyone feels this way but I never did look at things like most people 🤷🏻♀️.
