Benign tumor after cancer

Hi - I am 2.5 years cancer free but today a small growth (5mm) close to the skin was discovered in a mammogram. On the same breast that had cancer and was radiated. The radiologist said it is very likely benign but because of my history she wants to biopsy it. That is happening next week.

Has anyone had experiences with benign growths post cancer?
