Ibrance/Exemestane

I just started Ibrance/Exemestane (only the first month) when is it typical to see results? Is it after 3 months? Thank you, keeping fingers crossed here.

    Hi Deamo, we have a pretty active discussion thread on Ibrance where you will find a lot of support (sorry you are joining us in the stage IV area). Some are on Ibrance with an A/I (such as exemestane) and others are on meds like fulvestrant which is a medication for people who have already been on an A/I. My first petscan 3 months after I started Ibrance/fulvestrant showed reduction in the size of the mets as well as a reduction in the FDG uptake and I have had good results ever since. For some it takes longer to see reduction but also my oncologist told me that stable disease (so no new mets or increase in size/FDG uptake in current mets) is what they are hoping to see.
