Travellers insurance advice

hi. I know I've seen some of you planning wonderful trips. I've searched but not found any specifics here about traveller's insurance for international travel. If all goes well (and I manage to renew my passport on time! Ugh, pandemic made me neglect so much) we hope to visit family this summer. I will be a few months out from radiation and on maintenance medication. Any good advice about plans that will cover stage4 cancer patients?

There is a specialist cancer insurer here in the UK called InsureWith who i just bought travel insurance for a year for myself and partner for most of the world including the US for 400 gbp, which I thought was pretty good. There are two or three others who also cover folks with pre existing conditions. Now, if my circumstances change I will have to let them know, but I wouldn't be planning trips like this if I was having an acute episode or period. Last summer I bought a US only policy froma US insurer as it was cheaper and even that covered pre existing conditions.

I suppose you could check with your main health insurer if they have any products or travel insurance arm, or is there any info on some of the wider cancer sites like American cancer society.
