Debfin trying this response again as my first one didn't "save"

Yes, it is common to have swelling in your affected breast and truncal area. You can also have a build up of lymphatic fluid in your abdomen. I swell on my cancer side foob, even around to my back shoulder blade at times. A good light compression bra is the Sydney bra by Wear Ease, recommended to me by a very knowledgeable member here. It is a step in bra long enough to encircle your rib cage to provide compression there as well as underneath your arm. Your insurance company may pay a portion or all of the cost. You should also see a registered lymphedema therapist to be measured, just to keep tabs on things.

Thank you I have an appointment with the lymphedema nurse in a weeks time so hopefully I will get some good advice then.
