- I am a 40 year old , I started my journey in Dec 2019 with discharge from the nipple went int to the er and was told of possible breast cancer. I was sent for diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound which was 3.5mm only shaped mass on the top of my right breast it had fluid and solid compound in which I was then scheduled to meet with a surgeon who recommended to remove it completely so they could biopsy it and the tissue around it. I got my results back and was informed it was Atypical Ductal Hyperplasia (benign) but it put me as high risk as well . I also have very dense breast which also put me in high risk factor. I have been seeing my bc specialist every 6mo and yearly mammograms. But last month I noticed a Lump on my right breast which I had the last lump on. I notified my dr which then I was scheduled for a diagnostic mammogram in which they seen another mass in my inner right breast wall. so then I waited to get a ultrasound done and they pulled it up and waited for radiologist who then informed me that it has more solid than fluid and recommended I schedule for a biopsy. So I got my biopsy and got my results back 4days later no cancer but it was Usual Ductal Hyperplasia and they want to surgical remove it to biopsy the tissue to make sure no pre-cancer. I am so lost and have tried to understand how its come back UDH . Is that normal and if so I would like to hear feedback of others stories. Im just curious if anyone else has the same situation
