Lupron plus tamoxifen

in Hormonal Therapy - Before, During, and After

I have just started this combination after recovering from radiation. My onco gave me a Lupron shot to see how I felt first, and now I am on both. We are thinking two years on this protocol, and then switch to an AI. Does anyone else do this?

    The same treatment.

    Lupron every 3 months for 2 years and tamoxifen. Completed Lupron, now taking Tamoxifen

    I will be on this treatment soon. Had the Lupron shoot in December, and will be starting Tamoxifen next week. Can you let me know what side effects or what if any issues? I already had my anxiety shoot up ( increasing my blood pressure) thanks to lupron and not looking forward to adding tamoxifen as some sites suggest it could magnify the SE from lupron.
