Waiting for biopsy/ultrasound for left breast
Hi, I just got back from the doctor and I had a follow-up mammogram/ultrasound. The doctor said they found a suspicious spot on my left breast and now I have to wait 19 days for a follow-up biopsy/ultrasound. I am very scared and nervous and looking for support.

Hello @gaberdine78. I’m so sorry!! That is very difficult news to receive. Did they say anything else? That was about all I was told too. But I got more details off my patient portal when I could read the actual radiologist’s report. That helped me understand the seriousness of what I was dealing with. Please know that a large percentage of biopsies end up being benign. Try to stay hopeful!! Easier said than done, I know.
