Hello everyone,

I was diagnosed with stage 3 ILC in Feb 2023. Since then I've done chemo (AC-T), radiation, endocrine therapy and just recently started Verzenio.

I want to do everything I possibly can to reduce the risk of recurrence. Is there anything I should be considering as well as the above?

Thanks!!

My mother was diagnosed with Stage 3C lobular carcinoma in 1998. She had a double mastectomy as her understanding was that ILC has a tendency to be bilateral. She also did some form of chemo and then radiation. She went on tamoxifen but didn't stay the course as the side effects were too much for her. She is alive 25+ years later and has never had a recurrence.

Thank you, @dutchiegirl, that's really reassuring and I'm so glad to hear that your Mum is doing well also ❤️
