CDK 4 6 inhibitor for Stage 2 ILC
Hi Everyone,
I was wondering if anyone with stage 2 ILC was prescribed CDK 4 6 inhibitor. My sister was diagnosed with stage 2 ILC. Her oncologist prescribed her only AI but another doctor that she got second opinion from recommended CDK 4 6 inhibitors + AI because her ILC is 100% estrogen positive . Did anyone with early stage ILC was prescribed CDK 4 6 inhibitors? Did you feel like it was beneficial? I know that drug got some bad side effects.

We're sorry to hear about your sister's diagnosis.
In fact, yes, some people do get prescribed Verzenio, a CDK4/6 inhibitor, for early-stage breast cancer, based on this research. In addition, this thread is for folks taking Verzenio for Stage II Breast Cancer and this is for Verzenio for All Stages.
