I’m getting my first Zoladex injection today and my doctor is also keeping me on the Tamoxifen as well. Why both? Also, why Zoladex now after 3 months of tamoxifen?

I can’t answer your question but isn’t this something you should be asking your mo? Although there are some fairly standard ways in which meds/tx are used, there is also the possibility of variation based on your unique situation. Perhaps this plays into the tx plan but your mo would be the best person to ask. Take care

My oncologist did explain, but her reasoning is still not clear to me. Was hopeful someone here was in the same treatment plan.
