opinions needed
So I'm highly hormone positive, but failed ibrance after 5 years. Got a new triple negative. Did carbo/taxol. Mastectomy, then new hormone positive mets after 8 months of xeloda. Doctor wants to do enhertu because she is worried about hormone treatment resistance and possible triple negative cells still floating around. It's been 3 years since any hormone treatment. I'm really worried about enhertu side effects. I had no quality of life on carbo/taxol. Shouldn't we at least attempt hormone therapy? I was fine on letrozole/ibrance for 5 years. Minimal side effects. Plus my triple negative is her2 0. Seems chances are low that enhertu will work on it anyway. I have a second opinion scheduled but it's not for 3 weeks. Any advice?

Did you have IHC and FISH tests done, @jojo71? If so what are the results?
Another good resource would be to check out our Enhertu thread to read experiences of others on Enhertu. Many of them tolerate it fairly well after some time getting used to it.
Have you asked your doctor more about her train of thought with wanting to go the Enhertu route?
