Worried about new dx or recurrence
I am a 28 year survivor, of ductal carcinoma, mastectomy and ac chemo. faithful getting annual mammograms. March had mammo and ultrasound, come back in 6 months follow up. Recently had a spontaneous large bruise on my breast as well as pain in breast. Recently went to Breast cancer center, repeated imaging, two nodes enlarged and suspicious. Had biopsy of the larger node this Friday and waiting for results. I don’t know if I can fight this battle again.

@survivor1997 So glad to hear you have been thriving for 28 years. That gives many women hope here.Although I'm sorry to hear you are having a scare with a possible recurrence. It's such a scary time I understand thinking you may be drawn back in the cancer world. Just take this one step at a time, one day at a time. I know it's hard but keep as busy as possible this week. I know the "what if's" can drive you insane.
Nobody is up for this battle but your life is worth battling for! Sending strength and positive vibes your way for benign results. Hugs and prayers.
