High levels of estrogen
hi - I just had my estrogen tested and it’s 78. I’m on zoladex femara and Verzenio, also haven’t had a period since chemo. The test says results could be affected by Verzenio. Anyone ever encountered this before? Distresses but haven’t spoken with the onc yet .,.

For posterity who is ever in the same predicament, it turns out my test was not the ultra-sensitive kind. The one to use is the LC/ MS estradiol - ultra sensitive test and not the normal estradiol test. Second time around the estradiol showed a more accurate and more welcome number of under 2. Lesson learned - do not use the normal test. Basically, it is inaccurate and so useless because it is not sensitive enough and picks up other "estradiol" like compounds.

Oh. If anyone wants to get these the test or any tests done - out of pocket, I can recommend ultalabs.com. They were only $45 (compared to the $100 I found elsewhere) and I paid out of pocket. Results for these test took 5 business days and they inform you in advance of the estimated wait time.
