Had a "mole" removed on breast - (same breast where original cancer was) (3 wks ago) & path report from local hospital then sent biopsy out to The Cleveland Lab. No concrete explanation from my breast md except "perhaps something to do w blood vessels".
Assured it was not cancer in July 2024 by same breast md. Advised it would go away. MD thought perhaps it was a bug bite/bruise etc. Took the inititave in November 2024 as it was still there & told breast doc that "mole" had not disappeared & I wanted it off. He obliged.
As an addendum, my breast doc only sees breast patients. He is not a general surgeon & only breasts for more that 30 years so I do trust him.
Anyone out there ever in a remotely similar situation? Am stumped as to why biopsy was sent to the Cleveland Clinic & getting a bit nervous.
Thx in advance for any replies.
