After Tamoxifen.. does collagen production turn back ON?
I have 2.5 more years left of this ghastly medication. My dermatologist has confirmed it is responsible for my skin thinning and looking more crepey. Also losing elasticity everywhere (I’ve lost 75 lbs since my last week of chemo/IV steroids.. Ladies it IS possible if you start lifting dumbells and eating 125-135 gums of protein!!).
i have the aches, pains, middle of the night Charley horses (ouch!), hot flashes.. but after a lifetime of taking care of myself and my skin, aging so much faster (and newly divorced, 61), this has been so upsetting.
If you’ve stopped it completed treatment, please tell me if the way your skin looks started to improve 🙏🏻

You’ve been through so much, and we can understand why these changes would be especially upsetting after putting so much effort into taking care of yourself. ❤️ We hope some members who have finished tamoxifen will share what they noticed with their skin, elasticity, and overall appearance after stopping.
