Anastrazole and the decision to start tratment
I had a diagnosis of DCIS. After a lumpectomy with clean margins they found that there were in the tissue extracted two spots of invasive carcinoma. A lymph node biopsy came clear praise God! I finished radiation and they are recommending Anastrazole for 5 years. I am having a hard time taking the decision to start it or not cuz I'm afraid of the side effects. Is there anyone that has not had them? Does it increase the chance of recurrence if you have to stop the treatment vs not starting? They said my chance of recurrence is low so I could choose not to take it, but theynare very vague and I am having a hard time deciding. Id appreciate your input
