    Garden roses, not as pretty as Lisa'a California ones but I can stop anad smell the roses everyday now just love it.  Been really busy at work, we are headed for the beach on lake Huron this weekend will send pics and enjoy getting sand in between my toes!!!

    Can't wait to share last night's sunset. Must get it onto the web first.

    Downloaded & took my breath away a second time.

    Off to my biking.

    The good news is that while I'm reclaiming -- or building some stamina, it's a VERY cool week here. Right now it's still 59 degrees. No humidity. None. So I can relearn how to bike this week in this unseasonably kindness provided by our generous universe.... just for me & my benefit.

    Lisa, great bird shot!!! Mumyans' DH has got some serious competition in you! Where are those turtles? My sister posted pics like those once....

    Wouldn't those croc jewels hurt the tops of your feet?

    barb.... hahahahaha yes it is tomorrow but I get excited, cant wait until the actual day.

    This is a googling picture, I dont have have any problems with this. I just can't post real life pictures. i did it in FB.

    I cant grasp it here even after so many of you explain it to me.

    barbe, I just saw that turtle on the ground at the spanish village art group at Balboa Park, no

    clue what they are..it was in front of a pottery place..

    Muma, there is no competition with your hubby, he is an expert...I can't believe 

    how he captures the birds in flight...my camera is not equipped for that, but

    I so enjoy his photos..

    Is this little fellow frowning??

    I cannot believe how colorful they are..beautiful...I spent two hours in the hummingbird house

    and was stunned to look at my watch and realize how time flies..literally..lol

    I call those birds "Walt Disney" birds. Like I all passion flowers "Walt Disney" flowers. I find anything that is overly coloured or exaggerated to fit the bill.

    Lisa, I think that bird is saying "why do people keep pointing cameras at me?"!!!  sitting inside the trailer down the shore (New Jersey) listening to fireworks going off all throughout the campground, remembering all the years when kids were younger that we'd go down to the bay and watch fireworks ... memories are wonderful things that can take us places we've forgotten ... I have great ones for which I am oh so grateful.  hope you're all having a holiday weekend filled with love and laughter, and the occasional good picture!  hope to head down to the bay tomorrow (it's a 90 second car drive!!) and get some pics to upload tomorrow night.  hugs all
