ECG - After Tink has her surgery, I will jump out of her pocket and go along with you.  I have never been on a train before - this should be fun.  Glad your numbers are back in the normal range.  I am told that Tamox takes a couple of weeks to get completely out of your system.

I just got everything set up for my MRI and my bone density test.  I will have both done on Wed afternoon.  Will be glad to get those over with so my calendar will be clear until Sept.

Sherry - Gonna have to clone myself so I can be with you and Tink on Wed - this could be tricky.  Will be there with you to hold your hand and then to celebrate after on the clear calendar until Sept.  My calendar is also clear until then and for me it is just routine stuff.

Jo I have a plan....when Tink is in surgery we will borrow her wings and fly on over to be with Sherry so someone will always be with both ladies.  As for the train ride, count me in as I really need a mini vacation and we can get ECG drunk and she wont have to worry about a thing....

    Missing all you lovely ladies!!!

Well the mini vaca train ride with ECG sounds great.  We get a mini vaca and will be with here during surgery.  Don't get much better than that.

Tink I'll just clone myself so my clone can be with you on Wed.

This is a wonderful group of ladies.  I am on several other threads and none of them compare to the love and support here.  Getting ready to jump in pockets tomorrow.

I will wear loose clothes tomorrow.

This is a great thread with love and support.  I find when I get on BCO I come straight to this thread to see what everyone is up to.

I find breast treatment so expensive at times.  I am going for my cervical MRI without contrast so I called the pre-op to find out what I would have to pay tomorrow.  So when she told me I asked her what is the total cost of this MRI and she looked it up and it was around $750.  Compare to breast MRI with contrast $8,000 at the same facility. Glad I have insurance and don't have to pay the total but I find it interesting that the breast MRI is so much more expensive.

Sherry those prices are crazy.....I just went to a women's Image center to get a professional prosthesis made and the prosthesis alone is $3000.00 never mind the price to mold me and I get a new boob every 5 years and 3 new bras a year all which is 100% covered by insurance......FINALLY I am getting something and not having to pay for it......

Okay ladies make room as we are using the wings that Jo got us all and we are going to be in and out of your pockets flying around making you ladies laugh.....so when you least expect it, I will be right behind the Dr or Nurses holding up signs of encouragement.....hugs to you all and cannot wait to take the train ride with you all......

Wow it just amazes me at the staggering cost that the medical field charges.  The nuelasta shot I had to have after each chemo treatment was almost $6,000.00.  I couldnt believe it.  Im glad I had insurance, but it still took me almost 3 shots before my insurance kicked in 100%.  Im glad the new girls will be covered 100%.

Sherry make room for me.  I will be there with bells on.  I just love you gals.  I creeped this page for months and it just great to see how you all support each other.

ECG and Tink my bells will be ready for gals as well.  I cant wait to go.  You need us as much as we need you!

The cost of health care shocks the crap out of me all the time.  When my BS suggested I have Mammosite Rads he was the one who inserted the balloon catherer - get this - a 20 minute procedure in his office with local anesthesta - $13,000.  Sheesh!! Sure glad I have health insurance and did not have to pay a dime for it.  Here is the kicker - the first balloon was faulty and he did a second one - another $13,000 and neither one of them worked!!  Still had to do 6 long weeks of external rads.

June - I am going to jump in the same pocket you are in so I can give you a big hig.  Instead of signs with words of encouragement, maybe we should have funny signs and make them laugh.
