Thank you Beans....Anniversary isn't until Oct, and it will numero dos. DH always plans ahead, in fact he is probably already planning for number 3! We have been togother for 11 years tho. He actually planned our entire wedding! Let us know how you like your Zumba. I think we have all gained weight through this journey, except for maybe a few. But nothing wrong with a little exercise or dance, even if you don't lose the weight. At least we are here to PAR-TAY!

Ooops, it was Kymn that has the Zumba. (read part of my post to BeanZ) lol.

LOL...Frauline Katrinka....like you need another name!

Zumba Cocktail........I LOVE IT! ....and the "quan titties" is poifect BeanZ! What else in there has the Beanie touch? Shake it up? Cachaca?

Mitch, you are such a doll, and was that the "S" word we saw come out of your mouth? Shame Shame!

Hi Lori!!!  Happy Birthday!  Sorry I missed the partay!

This is my 2000th post!  It would be fitting that I posted on this thread!  :)

I'm going in tomorrow for surgery #8 in 2 years!  I'm getting my radiated foob fixed so it's in the same place as my other foob.  It's outpatient surgery, so I should be home tomorrow afternoon.  I should go to bed early tonight because I have to be at the hospital at 6 am tomorrow (and it's on the other side of town).

    Cheers girls!!!

Hi Karen, Hoping you are doing okay! Gotta stay awhile next time....drive-thru dwinking isn't as much fun. I think we need some of your homemade cookies in da lounge....this zumba stuff will get us all sooooo hungry!

Dork, Home Yet??? Hope you did arrive home safely, and that you have power, etc. Stop in the lounge asap so we won't have to send the firemen out to find ya!!

Well, I won't have the g'dau with me, as it involved my DD to drive 12 hrs round trip 2 days close together, plus the drive home tomorrow. But they might take the g'son here home with them for a wk....will be the longest time he has been away, so hope he still feels like going, in the morn. Looks like my parents want to come back in about 3 wks or so, so I can start looking for tix....yay! VERY glad as today my mom wasn't doing too well, but wouldn't go to the doc. So of course I was worried ALL DAY!!! Plus, my netbook crashed and had a lot to do to get it back up (with DD's help on the phone!) and FINALLY put anti-virus on it. Is it happy hour again? Pweese?? Just a widdle bitty nightcap, Pants? (But make it strong!) lol.

Heather....oops....*bump*....hope I didn't bump ya too hard! Just didn't see you in time. Want to wish you the very best for tomnorrow!!! Hate that you have to have ANOTHER surgery, but this time they will get it right! Prayers and hugs for you tomorrow, and please let us know as soon as you can, how you are doing!

Thank you Karen and Kitty, we are partying all week! Awwww heck, when aren't we partying? Kitty, good luck tomorrow. I am sure everything will be just fine. Karen, glad you popped in, but like Katrinka said "drive through drinking is not as much fun".

Kathy, happy that you are happy about your folks coming back much sooner.

Well, I was on looking (bad idea, I know) about thyroids and I read something that says not to eat foods such as broccoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, kale........huh? I love these things, and they are suppose to be good for you. I'm falling apart, and I truely believe it's from cancer. I'm about ready to quit taking every dang pill I have that's suppose to be helping me. The thyroid produces hormones, arimidex blocks hormones..........could this be the cause, or is it a different kind of  hormone? Arrgghhhhhh......that is my rant!

Hooray Chrissy! Safe travels my friend and thanks for the b-day wishes. I think we should all have Singapore Slings today!

    1/2 oz Grenadine Syrup

    1 oz gin

    Sweet and Sour Mix

    Club Soda

    1/2 oz Cherry Brandy

Pour grenadine into the bottom of a collins glass, and fill with ice. Add gin, and almost-fill with equal parts of sweet and sour and chilled soda. Top with cherry brandy, and serve unstirred, garnished with a cherry

Chrissy, So neat that you sent us greetings from Singapore! One place we haven't been to that we have heard is a great travel destination. We sat next to a girl from Singapore on our way home from Junie's service. Too bad you can't do a little tour! BUT as is, you are going to be in so many places and meeting so many amazing women. So exciting that your big trip has started!!!! Yay

Lori, Do you have a dr appt soon to discuss what you can/can't do, to help your thyroid? And maybe see an onc about what your bc meds might be doing to your body? Sounds like time to really take some action here, as we want you here (and healthy) for a long, long, long, long, time! At least to over 100. Bob did mention to me that Junie's health seemed to decline after her bc meds....like whatever she got, her body could not fight it as before. Not sure if that is due to the fact that we are aging too, or to bc and all the tx's that are involved. SO HARD to have to learn about a new problem, and what is the best thing to do. NM, do you have any advice for her thyroid problem?? Hoping something will help, and you can still eat those healthy foods. I think those foods are hard on your esophagus too....but they are healthy....what a connundrum. Hey Pants, bring us some Singapore Slings, puleez, and keep them coming!!!

Happy Tooose-day girlz! DorK, still hoping to hear from you soon! Donna, are you still doing ok? HD, wish you would pop in and have a dwink! JayBird, did those cancellations affect you? Maybe an extra day off (hopefully)? Ciao for now.

    ChEARS! Singapore Slings!!!!

    Hey girls,

I am composing a message in word but have been working on it since 8am in between getting unpacked. Our trip home was perfect, my property is fine. The pool is a mess but other than that and a few branches, all is well. I thank God that I was spared here at home and also in Myrtle Beach.

It is so nice to have my regular laptop back, that mini drives me nuts.

I will finish the post I started earlier but for now, just wanted you all to know I am home and all is well. We had a wonderful time and had many many truly precious moments with my Mom and Dad, God I love them soooooo much.

    Catch you girls later!

PS Wahine, I need to tell you the story about the call to the airline to see if anyone wanted our flight, ughhh, it was a waste of time but I did try!

    CheerS!

I know you are missing your parents so very much, so continued (((hugs)))) for you

Morning girls, number 18 of rads done im closing in on the finish line. Damn it sure makes you tired though. Kids went off to school today, first day back cant beleive how summer went by.Really cant beleive how this year has flown by. My DD is starting grade 4 today she was all excited in her new back to school clothes so cute. and my DS well not so excited lol but still looked very handsome in his new clothes he is now in grade 10 OMG High School I just dont know how I ended up with a high schooler.

Dorothy so glad you made it back safe and sound and no damage to your property, I so wish we could all be at your house on Friday when Chrissy arrives that would be sooooo fun to have a pool party Sealed

Chrissy have a fantastic holiday give a big hug to Dorothy for me please.

kathy I am down for a singapore sling with you sounds delicious might have to buy some gin this weekend lol.

Hi karen good to see you hope you had a wonderful summer.

Kity kat good luck with surgery, when I am done all my treatments I will be looking into getting a matching pair of foobs too.

Goldie wow how rare is that to have the guy plan the whole wedding, usually we just hope they show up lol. As for the thyroid issue I cant imagine how frustrated you must be. I cant stand it when one doc tells you one thing and then the next gives you the exact opposite info, how on earth are we supposed to be able to figure it all out. A girlfriend of mine recently had hers removed and has nothing but trouble since.

Hi to all I missed have a great tuesday, I imagine Claire is biking somewhere beautiful and NM at work.

DorKy DeaR, so glad you made it home and all is GOOD! I keep checking for your long post, but I would imagine you are getting ready for our lovely Chrissy! You know we will all be living vicariously through you, and will need minute to minute updates!

Katrinka, I have a call into my primary. Started to google about About Arimidex and .......didn't even have to type in thyroid, it just came up. So yes, it could be the cause. I must be getting every FN side affect there is. Arimidex to keep cancer away, but it will probably kill you due to the other problems it causes! 2 more years to go.

Kymn, I had to laugh at you being so surprised to have a child in HS......just wait until you start talkinin grand babies! My DH plans many things for us, he even did our first Anniversary. He loves doing those kind of things.

    Slinging down another Singapore!

Goldie, can you take thyroid supplements while on the other med? Or what about iodine doesn't that help your thyroid too. Mine was borderline and because of the MS and low energy they put me on a thyroid pills which I think have helped, but I do know the new guidelines are supposed to be lower than what they used to be in order for women to actually feel alright.

DorK- Glad you are home safe! I agree with kymn Wish we could ALL be waiting to surprise Chrissy - wouldn't that be fun! Well we are all pretty good with pretending so let's go for it!

Kymn- congrats!! I can't believe my son is in HS either - Oh Lori- I think I could actually deal with grandkids easier somehow....

I did actually get to have a Singapour Sling at Raffles! It was grand, felt like I was in a movie!  Chrissy glad you could pop in - how very cute of you!

Kathy- Uh not good to hear about Junie and the meds..but everyone is different and you never know what all else might have been going on. Her posts just never made her seem sick, if you know what I mean. I'm sorry for both you and DorK to be missing and worrying about your parents. Hey is this when NM is off in Vegas?

Doing laundry... still undecided about the washer.....

    Hi LadieZ,

Only wish I were cycling, but just the dentist this AM.  Put off a couple of things until the next visit when hopefully someone else pays for all this.  All was fine though.

Then I was technically challenged.  One email was down, and I had promised to do a Skype call with a contact.  Didn't have the password, and of course the reset email went to the email that was down.  So sent him an email from my personal account plus a voice mail.

I decided to punt and went to the supermarket to get batteries which are fortunately on a back to school special.  This was for the display on my desk phone.

Now all is working, plus the first seeing myself in a webcam.  YIKES.

I may really need a Singapore Sling after this adventure.  Hoping my bicycle lights take AA batteries, but seem to remember AAA.

Stanzie......new washing machines are getting this country up to the standards of the rest of the world, so anything will be a change, as well as an upgrade.  Washing machines were virtually unchanged since the 60s so a shock.  But the new ones really are more efficient.  I hate to think what our cars would be like if there weren't global manufacturers.  But we didn't have any real appliance competition until the past ten years or so.

My building has older appliances......anything ten years old is now "older".  Would love newer ones, but not a major deal.  The new ones are much more water-efficient, energy-efficient, and quieter.  Overall cheaper too.  I was struck when looking at an ad from the 1930s how expensive a basic radio was.  Something like two month's salary.  Now you work for an hour to buy one.

    Just amazing....... - Claire

p.s.  Washing machines from that period rolled out, had an agitator and a wringer.  You then hung out the clothes to dry.  BLECH!!!!

Putting out an AMBER ALERT for our NM. I do not think it is time for Vegas, as she recently said she would see us Monday, unless she lost power (which she was ready for). I tell ya, that lady is amazing! But seriously NM, I do hope it is just the power, and of course you would let us know when you are leaving for SIN CITY!

Stanzie, grandkids........what can I say. I will never have what I had hoped for, in grandkids. As for your washer, it is not sounding like you like it much, therefore it should go. I have cheapy GE's, and the dryer never gets used, except for maybe socks. EVERYTHING goes out on the line to dry. There is nothing like sheets off the closeline. I would love to have fresh sheets off the line, EVERY DAY! Now get this.......I have a neighbor (weekender up here) she irons her sheets!

Still no call from the doc's office. Gonna quit all my pills and go on a liquid diet! (if ya know what I mean).

Singapore me another Sling, I mean Spling me another Slingapore, oh forget it!

Lori, Good idea to put out that Amber Alert!! NM, can you hear us calling  you? I agree, she had mentioned Sept for Sin CIty. Hope you have power NM, and no flooding or any other problems!!!

Lori, Can I join you in that "liquid" diet? Looks like Jock is slinging out those Singapore slings as fast as he can. Of course, it helps that he is only wearing a *sling*....lol. We used to have ironed sheets when I was growing up. Sure miss them, but too much work. Sometimes I will iron the pillowcases and top part of the sheet....makes it feel more special, but NOT often! They do not allow clotheslines in our community, but I do remember the nice smell from air-dried clothes and sheets and towels. I hang all of MY clothes up in the laundry room, as I cannot have them shrink even a fraction of an iota. The others all get thrown in the dryer. Do you take VitB12? Sublingual, just dissolve under your tongue (tastes good). Seems to help me w/energy levels.

Yummmmmmm, these dwinks are SOOOOOo refreshing!! Oh, and it is refreshing to look at Jock in all his glory.Embarassed

Just got off the phone with someone in VT.  Still a mess there.  They are comparing it to the 1927 flood, but I know for certain not as bad, as remember stories about the flooding.  Plus I remember the old water mark in the Waterbury train station, which was something like 15 feet higher than the flooding on Main Street.  (Photo that made the news.)

Anyway, suspect that Internet has been knocked out in Maine, and most likely power, so not that worried about NM.  I think her mother is on a lake, so that could be adding to things.  Major place to suspect flooding.

One of my friends who lives north of NYC mentioned that her train station was under water Sunday.  Not just the tracks, but the platform!!!!

So a few more days until power is restored, and travel is normal in the whole New England area. - Claire

I guess you all are right, too early for Vegas - there hasn't been much mention of the damage in Maine that I have seen but then I guess more concentrated on Vermont. How awful some of those pictures are.... hope NM is all right! And her Mom!

Well, Claire you make me want to give the washer a few more tries.... it is awfully different.

Lori- I can't believe they have not called you back.... not nice at all!!! I don't like them.

Whoops better run again... what an odd day.

Greetings from sunny NJ. We had a very smooth flight home. I crashed out on my bed, fully dressed with piles of clothes still on my bed, oops. It is so nice being able to type fast, here come the long DorkY rants!

I have to have my back aspirated. I will be at my PS office tomorrow for Physical Therapy then have to return on thursday for the aspiration. I sure hope it is just a quick poke then done.

Lori, so sorry you are having issues. When I hit the lounge chapel, I will include you in my prayers. I will have my people hunt down NM but do suspect she is without power and that my people will find her. Will send up a prayer for her too.

Kitty, will also be praying for a smooth surgery and hope the results are perfect. I feel your pain as far as having so many surgeries. I am up to nine and still need to do the exchange surgery again.

Kathy, I am so happy that your parents are coming back to 'bama soon. And sorry that I did not pop in to update you all yesterday. I think I was selfishly waiting for those hot fire men to come and check on me! Very little damage here, even the canopy on my deck survived. I was worried about that as I have lost too many by not taking the tarp off before a storm hits.

Karen, glad you stopped in but hope you start posting. We have missed you.

Gail, I hope all is well.

Beanie, my friend, so nice to see you. I loved your zumba cocktail, you crack me up. Makes me think of your famous Pissant recipe lmao.i loved your birthday post for our Lori, very touching! I feel terrible for missing her birthday and the partay yesterday, let's extend it through the month!  Hope to see you around, I'm missing your Beanglish - still trying to master the language but flunked Beanglish 101 hehe.

Kymn, the kitty pic is adorable. Contrats on nearing the finish line. I hope you find time to join us for happy hour.  Keep up the great work girl!

NM, missing the morning posts. I hope your home did not sustain damage from the flooding. There are so many homes in my area that have flooded basements including DH's.  I feel terrible that he was not around to help his Mom but he is working on it today. I am so lucky that I was spared from SC to NJ!

Scuba, hope to see you tomorrow, yippee, a breast friend that I can meet face to face!

Stanzie, I think you should get your money back and find a washer that you love.Hoping your beautiful children are doing well with school. We start in this area next week.

Chrissy, I am too excited in anticipation of your arrival.  I hope to get help in getting my curtains and blinds back up before your arrival. Leaving for a week and coming back to a mess in my yard has put me behind. Oh, and taking a three hour nap and on the PC the rest of the day adds to lost time. I am enjoying being home and just do not feel like working. I will be playing "pick up sticks" tonight, my large trees sure dropped much debris. My planters are all "bent" from the force of the winds. I am still getting leaves from the bottle of the darn hole in the ground aka swimming pool.

My DD is packing up to go back to school. She will be at an apartment off campus this year. She has a one year lease. Makes me think about renting out my home and finding an inexpensive 2nd home in Myrtle Beach.  The friends we met (the guy that has the same name as my DH), is in real estate.  He invited us to dinner and we talked mortgages and alot about the wild new federal regulations that are getting more silly by the day. I could probably start networking to find a job there. The thing that stops me is my DD, I would miss her too much. And also finding a good tenant, would not know how to screen them. And hearing our RW's stories of what bad tenants can do, ughhh, I guess not.

I am missing my parents so much and can not stop thinking of them.  I am in a solemn mood today and still feel exhausted from traveling. Also spent too much time on the golf cart, my back is hurting. Oh well, life is good.  Two minutes, then time to drink, yeee haw!!

cheerZ, my lovely ladies....so nice to catch up...

ps...what is with this new name our RW/Raquel/Kathy/ has? Hard to keep up with so many names! Frauline Frachinka, huh?? you are too funny.

edited to address a friend I missed, my bad!! I am here to drink, who's in?

LOL DorK, are you dwinking THAT many SIngapore Slings? It is "Fraulein Katrinka", not Frachinka...lol you had me ROFLMAO at that one!!! I *think* Katrinka is how you say Kathy, in German or something. LOVE< LOVE< LOVE< your long post....yay the DorK is IN the lounge!! WooHoo, I am glad to have you back here with us. Quite the quandry....move to be near elderly parents, or stay near DD who still needs you too. No good answer to that one! Wish they would want to move up by you, but know how they want to be in their own home that they have lived in for awhile.

NM, Some of us here are VERY concerned about your well-being! If you don't have power, that can be quite a mess, no showers, could lose all your food, might be hot up there, etc. I well remember the end of April when we had no power in this entire area, for over a wk. Couldn't even pump gas for awhile, or shop for necessities, until they got generators in the stores and gas stations. ALSO, hoping your mom is ok, and does not have flooding. (((Hugs))) to you, dear.

Oh Kymn, yes, lets hire that lady to iron ALL of our sheets!!! LOL, that was funny. So glad you have progressed so far in your rads tx. Hang in there!!!

Heather, Hoping you did well today, and are at home now, recuperating. Be sure to take it very easy and let others wait on you, okay???

Oh Dork, Just realized you mentioned having to have that area in your back aspirated. Hope it does not hurt....might feel so much better though once it is done. You have quite a full plate this week!!!

Yikes, they just mentioned on the news that over 3 million homes still do not have power, Maine included. I just cringe when it shows those covered bridges in Vermont just collapsing in the water. They were so old, and so historic,

Pau Hana time....who is joining me in some dwinks????

    (Whatever my name is!)

    Evening Fraulines,

I'm so essited cuz my DH just arrived today with a big box of See's candy and some pwetty fwowers, so sweet I'm in Heaven. He got them in Spokane yesterday and is so sweet of him. We've had a beautiful eve watching the sun set over the ocean...so nice! I will be off tomorrow too as we are planning a wonderful day just spending time together going antiquing, gawd he must love me to go shopping with me - he he he.

Wahine - as for cawowies, I agwee DILLIGAF! Oh how nice your parents want to come back, that is so great I'm sure you are excited to have them come again. I agree, we need to get Lori to at least 100!!

Goldie - well happy anniv coming up and mine is just around the corner too, yippee 16 years...  That is weird that the thyroid foods are not the same as bc. How are you feeling? I sure hope you are feeling okay and getting some good medical advice, where is NM? Love the Singapore Sling today, that has had me flying high all day, thank you! Just read that arimidex could be causing thyroid probs, dang, I am sure hoping you find a good solution here. Liquid diet sounds like a plan!

Karen - good to see you, hope you can stop in a little longer next time.

Kitty - Wow, 2000th post, that's cool. I sure hope your surgery goes okay, will be praying for you.

Chrissy - wishing you safe and happy travels and please do check in often.

Yay Dofey got home safe, I'm so glad to hear that... and that all is okay even if your pool is a bit messy, great news. I liked your mini cuz it spoked gud beanglish - tee hee! Tanks for checkin in and sos we can sweep well knowing you R tucked in safe. Will be thinking of you tomorrow at the PS, I do hope it's quick and painless!!!!!! Yes, let's all have zumbas, slings and pissants to celebrate the rest of the week.

Kymn - Yay, you are getting so close to done! Funny it didn't make me too tired, but I think after I've had some fatigue, like yesterday I could hardly move for no reason, 8 months later...hope your DD's first day of 4th grade goes well.

Stanzie - curious about the washer...what features do you like and not like? I have an older one here that is a Kenmore and it seems okay, but I haven't used it too much. Finally got a new vacuum and have been putting off tryin it, just lazy I guess...

NM - where are ya??? There's an amber alert so you need to check in...sure hope you are okay and not having weather problems...we are getting cranky with no morning NM's!!!!!

    aStorm - WUD UP?

Hope everyone has a great eve and I'll see ya for more dwinkies soon!! DaFraulineBean

Still getting a grasp on who is who but needed a smile or two as sleep is somewhat elusive tonight. Looking forward to meeting DorK in person tomorrow, same PS and same rather insane PT guy, who sort of fancies himself a psychotherapist as well as PT.

For now debating a small summer cocktail of 1 part blueberry vodka and 2 parts low cal lemonade ( or 1 to 1 when needed), really quite refreshing.

Hoping to get last 2 drains out after surgery but know it ain't happening tomorrow, oh well, cheers to all!

But before you know it, you will be driving uphill. So our PT dude is a shrink, hmmmm. So glad to see you in the lounge. Still awaiting more loungettes from de west coast to join us for beer, vodka n then some.!

Gail, nice to see you. Sorry you have been sick. Stop in the lounge and let the tenders make you feel better.

DorK. Back in the lounge, sleepless in Philly! PT dude is just a PT dude but is very into mind body tie. Which is okay, but when I said something about just having a brief meltdown once a week, asked my DH about taking me for a walk and holding my hand. Might be nice for others, not me. Been married 19 years, my husband pours a whiskey for himself and sits on the deck til I ask for help. Not sure this PT guy got that, especially having only met us 15 minutes before.... Doesn't change value of the PT. See ya soon!

Wow Scuba, sorry for the insomnia. I fell asleep briefly on the hammock at the lounge as Pants, another cyber servant, rocked me to sleep. I may ask PT dude for physiological support just for giggles. Join me at the fukitol fountain and I can show you around. I can show you the pool which is surrounded by hammocks and swings. We can have a few (more) then head over for a full body massage. If you do not mind, I am stopping in at the lounge chapel to pray for sleep, seems we are both falling short there.

Thinking about NM and missing her morning posts.  While others seem certain she is alright, I am worried. I hope that she will be located soon, my people came up empty. Heading to the chapel now to pray that NM is alright and that her home was spared. Kathy, do you have her cellular #?

Okay, heading back to my favorite hammock to get rocked to sleep. Scuba, don't dump me into the pool,- Chrissy, do not tip my hammock again, paybacks are a bitch!

Gail, thanks for stopping in, and glad you didn't pass along your cold germs....lol. That sucks though that you have been sick, and hope you will be totally well soon!

DorK and Scuba, Have an amazing lunch today! SO glad you both will meet. And DorK, thanks for asking about NM's cell....just looked and I DO have it, so will try to reach her. Good idea! I was looking up your German words, but then my puter ended up all stuck and so I have to look that up later, (Is "stuck" a tech word? LOL).

    Have a great HumpDay goilies,

    Kath

DorK, good luck today and I too hope the aspiration isn't too bad, but agree with Katrinka that it should make you feel better. If I lived closer, I would come help you get ready for Chrissy and clean up your yard. Did the firemen make it? Oh my gosh, LMAO at your German, but damn girl, you are HOT!

Beans, you sound like a little school girl! So happy for you, but having DH there probably means we don't get to see you as much! Can we be selfish? Of course we can, but we want you happy! On the shopping end, my DH loves to shop with and for me! Remember all the shoes he got me recently? I will get through my issues, thanks for thinking of me.

Gail, kick that germ to the curb girl and get better soon so you can come back here to drink and party with us.

Oh wow.......what a quinky dink Scuba, that you and DorK share the same docs.......AND GET TO MEET? So exciting. You will catch on, there really aren't too many of us. I'll join you in a "Summer Cocktail", but make mine 1/1! Had to read your last post twice, I thought you were saying the PT dude wanted to take you for a walk and hold your hand!

NM NM.......we love and miss you. And like DorK said, most of us are worried about you. We are all hoping that you and mom and all of your family and friends have not suffered much damage. I know you said you were prepared, but we still worry ya know!

I think we should have Scuba's summer cocktail for our DOTD. You just choose your ratio!

Stanzie, my doctor is ok, and they did call. I had brought my business phone in the house with me, so I wouldn't have to stay out in the office. Well a customer calls, and while on the phone with the customer, dr's office calls on my cell! Go figure. Well anyways, I have to go in Thursday. 2 and ½ hour trip, just so I can get another script. More pills. I think Arimidex is giving me every possible side effect it has! I got frustrated yesterday afternoon thinking about it and had to go do something to take my mind off it. So I got a couple bottles of water and put them in a tiny cooler I have, jumped on our quad and went over to my neighbors, she is in her early 70's, told her to get her shoes on and that I would like to take her for a ride. So off we went, out behind my house, down the canyon and then up on the ridge. She was ecstatic! The view from up there is amazing and you can see for miles and miles. We were gone for a couple hours and I even showed her how to drive it. I think she really enjoyed and told me anytime I wanted company, she would love to go! Was almost dark when we got back, so I helped her cover her plants that needed it (she has a deer destroying a lot of things) and headed home.

    Good morning loungettes,

So did I tell you that my Onc released me?? He said from now on I will just be doing follow up with my regular doctor every six months unless something comes up. Hmmmm I barely saw my regular doctor before mostly just went to him for the kids I am feeling a bit nervous for sure. I asked him how will I know if it comes back somewhere else? What should I be looking for, according to him survival rates are no different when it comes to having scans to watch for stuff or just reporting to you MD twice a year and getting mamo's every year....hmmmmm.....not feeling really comfortable with this. Not sure what to do.

Have fun today Dork and Scuba so fun getting to meet face to face and then Dork gets to meet Chrissy on Friday oh what a fun week for you Dorothy. Sorry your missing your folks so much.

Beanie I missed something Im sure but so very happy that you and DH are getting along so well and that he is being so sweet to you. You so deserve to be treated like a princess

Kathy when are you folks comeing back? With all that back and forth maybe you can convince them to come and stay for good..I would look after their home in Hawaii lol

Kitty Cat how did the surgery go yesterday? Are you feeling ok? do we need to send pantz and Jocks over to tend to you, they are very good and making you forget about any troubles Laughing

    Dorothy what does aspirated mean???

I have my second support group meeting tonight...not sure if I am looking forward to it or not but its such a small group that i would feel terrible dropping out so will prolly just stick it out for the next 6 weeks. My poor boobie is getting more blisters on it.They are all on the underneath part of my boob I have 3 now and they sting Frown. I am soooo over all of this, I hate getting ready in the am trying to find an eyelash or two to put mascara on, looking at my fat face ARRRGGGGG I want to be skinny and have my hair back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Sorry just had to rant but honestly I am getting sick of putting on a happy face that is all is well and I am a surviour BS. Cancer SUCKS.
