Sherry, so glad you are doing well! Isn't it great to feel like you're looking' good? And good luck on the tammi - 3 months at a time is a good plan!

Isn't cleavage a good thing Sherry, lol!  I was a member of the IBTC until I got foobies.  I went from a 32A to a 38B.  The not wearing a bra was the best news to get.

Sherry - So glad you are doing good and the fills did not hurt.  Taking Tammy for 3 months at a time sounds like a fair and reasonable plan.

I am getting a bit better each day.  Still sore but that is to be expected.  My back feels tight where the muscle was removed.  On a good note, I am starting to really itch.  Have been sleeping on my love seat - the legs recline and at least getting some good rest.  Have had to take naps in the afternoon and a pain med at night.  I think I have overdone it today - had to take a pain pill after dinner.  Have my first followup with my PS on Friday.  Even with the setback - 2nd surgery - this was all so worth it.  I am so happy with the results.

    Jo....   and hi to all~~

Glad you are happy with your outcome.  Your "voice" sounds better already.  :o)  (how you write)

I have had itching off and on where the node surgery was & that was way back in July of '09. Had a lumpectomy in August and mastectomy in September, but only the node one itches...lol...comes and goes.  I should ask about that.

One thing for sure it can't still be healing....like they say cuts itch when they're healing.  lol

    Keep on keeping on !!!!!!!

Tink...hope everything turns out ok with your daughter.  Always scary when our kids are hurting.

Stick a fork in me I'm DONE!!!! (except for nearly 4 more years of Tammy)   I had the final touch up on my tattoo this afternoon.  I had a normal MRI, saw my gyno. and breast surgeon for check ups last week and all is well.  Such a good feeling to know that this year is behind me and I am moving forward with a clean bill of health.  Feeling happy.

Have a great evening everyone.  Jo.....take care of yourself and don't get too crazy with the party boys!

Jo & Sherry - glad you are already happy with what you see. You've been through a lot and you deserve to love it!

Tink - only thing worse than the ER is having your child be the patient. I hope you find out some news soon and I hope it's good!

going back to work this afternoon.  Going to work afternoons the rest of this week and then back full time on Monday.  I have enjoyed my time off and have actually rested for the first time in a year and a half.  Wish I did not have to go back, but I need the insurance and I do have a great boss.

    Hi
    Warriors,

Just playing catch up and wanted to say Hello.  Wow!! I am missing so much.  The man candy, the pocket parties, Jo's Birthday, etc. etc.

Hope everyone have a beautiful day.  I am at work and when I opened the picture, I had to quickly turn my computer so my co-worker could not drool!!!  Paula, where in the world you get those pics.???

    Hugs to ALL,

    Ann

Sherry - Glad to hear you are going back to work at least for half days this week and then back to the old grind on Monday.

I am also going back to work on Monday.   In the summertime my office is only open in the mornings so that is a good thing.  Don't know if I will still have the drains or not but I have to go get an end of the month financial report done and May 1st is when we start our new resident season so the computer has to be updated and all the paperwork changed around.  I can sit and do the majority of my work and have my assistant manager do the walking and standing.  It has been hard to just sit and not be up walking around and doing stuff.  I know that if I get tired I can always go home for a nap and then get back to it later.

Hi all. Jo suggested I come here and see if anyone was/is experiencing the same thing I am going through. Kinda scared and upset. Unsure what is going on. I have been taking Tamoxifen for about 6 months and had to have a 6 month vaginal ultrasound. My uterus lining is suppose to be *less then 5 and mine is at 10. With something showing up on the images they took. I know Tamoxifen is famous for it. Up until now I have had very few SE's.

IRW33  welcome! I have had issues with the lining of my uterus/endometrium thickening as well. Also had endometrium cytys show uo as well. My GYN contributed all this to the Tamoxifen. Said the thickening was on the upper limits of normal and we will redo in 6 months to a year unless any unusual bleeding starts... hope that helps some!!!

What a day I am losing hope in the medical profession. Took my daughter to what was suposse to beone of the best GI offices around. He looks at her CT scan and says well i dont like that it is abnormal.. blah blah blah..... talks in between.... bottom line at the end he says well im going to do more blood work and ill see you in a month. Nothing looks alarming. I said well you said ut was abnormal so which is it.. he tealls me... well lets just wait and see what the blood work says... ugh so frustrated All I got was that they found some fluid filled loops in her small bowel no further info!.

so we shall see what happens!

Sherry and JO good luck going back to work. Glad you ladies are feeling better! hugs..

Tink, this is truly frustrating! Sometimes these can resolve and you never know what actually caused the pain to start with - which is sometimes better than finding something not so good as a cause. How is she feeling now? Better, I hope!

Jo & Sherry, glad to hear you are both headed back to work with such great attitudes! I, on the other hand, am counting the days until I get a break, and will FINALLY take the time off I should have taken a year ago.

    Welcome, lisak7290 and lrw333.

    Welcome lisak7290 and Irw333.

Irw333 sorry I can't help you.  I have had only one exam since starting Tammo and I don't go back for a couple more months for one.  I never got my period back from chemo so I haven't noticed any issues.

    ((((Tink)))))))

Oh Junie where are you????  I have a pillow waiting for you, lol!  I hope your vaca is a fun time for all!

Allanan I find them all over the www.  A friend of mine had posted a site full of man candy hookups so I have tons of man candy now to share.  Alot of times if she posts on her fb page I just right click and copy the image and then I can share them with you all!

Good luck Sherry and Jo.  Take it easy and don't push it.  I'm sure you gals will do what you can to stay safe n sound.

    Welcome lisak7290.

Irw33 - glad to see you here.  I had been on Tamoxifen about 6 months when I had my pap done.  I insisted on a transvaginal US and my gyn found a 1.5cm fibroid tumor and ended up doing a hysteroscopy and a D&C.  I do blame that on the Tamoxifen.  I will insist on having another US this year when I go in June.  We have to be our own advocates since a lot of doctors will deny that this damn drug can have all these SEs.

Tink - How frustrating.  Hope you and your DD get some answers soon.

    Lisa welcome aboard the train.

made it to work this afternoon and I already have a todo list.  My boss was so glad to have me back, but he kept saying if you get tired or you hurt go home.  Started my tamox again on Monday and of course I have had insomnia so bad the last two night that even the Lunesta is having a hard time and today the gassiness started again.  Not as bad as before, but before it progressivly got worse.  Guess we will see.

Jo do too much too fast.  Your body has been through alot.

Tink so frustrating they want to wait and see.  I hate when Dr's tell me that.  We just need answers.

Linda I have so needed this break that I got with the surgery.  I did not realize how bad I needed it until I was home resting. You will enjoy your break

Sherry - I promise I will not overdue it.  I am going crazy being at home and I can sit and work on my computer while my assistant takes care of the customers and does the running around.  At least it will be half days only and I can go home if I get tired or start hurting.  Glad to hear your first  week at work is going well - bummer though on the insomna.  I know you were having that problem before.

Just coming up on 1 year on it. Suddenly, I simply can not fall asleep. It used to be, that I couldn't stay awake. I have been using Ativan (at 1am, I get up at 6am), but should this be an every night habit? I am exhausted and today feel depression creeping in... Any advice?
