Sue, wese nose youse lubs dat killa, so wanna axe ya sumtin......my DH loves PATRON....but so $$$. Den when he wuz at Casino (where he first tried it, b4 having to buy it for at home), in da VIP room, dey gettin sooooo cheap-o dere. So, dey switched from Patron to something called "1700" or sumtin lie dat.  So wese went in da likker stoah tudey and asked about it, and was told it was made by Jose Cuervo. Its 100% agave, so dat is gud. Anyways, she told him bout a new one dey had...has it in Silver and Resposado (sp?)....and its called "Camarena They said its a good sippin killa, or to mix. So DH brought that home to try. Jest wondered if you have tried it, and what you thought of it.

WaWa....reposado and 1800 silver, actually, fer us...anyting by Jose Cuervo goot wif us.  We always sip...we never shoot our killa.  DH likes 'wheels' (dat means lime/salt on da rim) if dey hand you lime n salt on da side...dey need to look for woik elsewhere.  N e way...I don't like 'wheels' (actually called 'training wheels') cuz lime (any citrus) comes back to haunt me.  Point is...I get patron cuz I woik der and play der, so free...but too much $$ is right to buy and hab at home.  We hang with the reg ol Cuervo Gold.

Just about time to call it a night here...work week starts manana...at least I work virtually and I can hang in the HTL between calls..mebee it be a slow couple of days being its the long weekend and all..I can only hope.. Not sure when I can wrap the foobs in saltwater cloths again....sure isnt convienient is it?? 

Kathy....I never would have that that of Ho....but fame does crazy things to some..and he was Hi to alot of peeps....I remember watching his show on my little black and white tv when I was little...and yepppers...I saw all the pics right around my first day in da place..the wenches brought me back...haha...well, and the lovely company of my new breasties....and I want to thank you all for being so great...

Good Morning Ebbery1, Hope this Sat-turd-dey and hoiday weekend will be a gud one. Watch out for all de dwunks on de rode, and do all your dwinking at de HTL and you won't even habs ta dwive home. Lotsa beds here, lotsa food, lotsa dwinks, and the pool and big pool slide look sooooooooooo inviting! Oh I think I will settle in this nice chaise by the pool......even got a "Kapu" sign to keep it reserved all day! No worries, there are PWENTY of lounges for all! But dis way, when mese gits dwunk, mese will not habs to hunt for me pwace, as de sign will guide me....lol.

I was in the NG, and my late DH retired as a jump master Green Beret in the NG (and did go to Vietnam), plus lost his brother in the war. Cyndie, I went out of state for my treatments. Flew to Tulsa OK every 3 weeks for 6 months of chemo, then drove there and stayed for 6 weeks for rads. Hope you found a new place to hang and have fun, but I doubt it's as much fun as The HTL!!!! Like Kathy said, we have the boys and the wenches. There was another friend of ours, who doesn't come around much anymore, but she was why we got the wenches as she also lived an alternative lifestyle. We also had some hot looking firegirls too, if I remember correctly. As for Kathy, that girl has TONS of stories and history, she should write a book! Ahhhh, you get to work from home? Can't beat that! I sure hope that cream helps you. I ended up with 2nd and 3rd degree burns, so it's important to keep on top of it.

Kathy, that is too funny about Don Ho, but not funny that you could have gotten into trouble. Glad your gf and her bf drug you out of there. OMG, we have lots here at The HTL. Indoor pool, seating area with fireplace and big screen tv over the bar, casino, outdoor pool with swim up bar, beachfront, garden area, chapel, pooch park, the magic party bus, the ufo, the yacht, casino, free ATM, firemen and girls, and now a pool slide and of course out Tattie Tenders. Goodness, I'm sure I have missed some things. Oh and let's not forget the AWESOME patrons!

WOW Lori.....a GUAVA Margarita!! Never heard of that one, but love guavas, and miss them soooooo much! I actually planted 2 "pineapple guavas" and after 4 yrs, threw one of them out last year as they never did anything. Well, lo and behold, THIS spring the remaining (small) tree had blossoms!!!! I didn't think about pollination, but did try "hand" pollinating the last blossom. If I don't get fruit this year, will have to get another one (or graft one), or hand pollinate all the blooms next time (easy to do with paintbrush). Wonder if I can find guava puree here???? Maybe in the Mexican stores. YUMMY looking dwinks you found!!! Yippeeeee!

Lori...you have got to be kidding??? I dont know what I would do if I had to travel like that for treatment..I guess this is one good reason for living in a primarily geriatric community..That just sounds crazy to me...I count myself lucky to have everything up the street.

Hi girls, I need your help. Would you please pray for my dad? The RB struck him pretty hard. His dr just called him at home, both areas are positive for cancer. The one I was worried about was SO big, and apparently grew since January. His dr said to keep a watch on it, but my Dad only let us know how it had grown, when we were recently in Vermont. And only because we could hear him groaning and yelling out in pain when he was changing clothes (on his arm, but hidden by short sleeve). I know he wanted his dr in HI to take care of it, but OMG by waiting till it grew so big, was NOT good. And even though he is healthy otherwise, being 95, I wonder what tx he will have. His prev wife died of breast cancer....she was dx with bc, but didn't want to admit it, so didn't go back to the dr. Surely, my dad would have learned from that. (For you newer galz, my parents were divorced for over 40 yrs, then remarried after both were widowed; been remarried for 8 yrs now).

ANYWAY, I knew I could get support from you all. I really JUST found out. Hoping NM checks in during this long weekend she has, as I would love her to post one of her amazing heartfelt prayers.

Awwwww thanks Sue, so sweet of you to post that, for me and Dotty. Thanks for your care, and concern! My dad has had other skin cancers, and one on his leg had to be dug out really deep, and big. That was just a few months ago. He had prostate cancer long ago (20 yrs?) but the tx took care of that. I think the dr he is trying to reach is a fellow Rotarian (my dad was former District Governor for Rotary)....I think he trusts them more than if he had seen a dr here that he didn't know.

Having Pau Hana now, are you? Very sad though. I know Dotty is very sad today, too.

Oh MemaSue you are so silly. It's true many of the women on this forum are facing hard times...sigh...let's drink to them and those they love!
