Hi girls,
I am going to finish up my kohl's order den lay down for awhile. I ended up calling my doctor and he had me come in today, I am glad I did as I have freaking pink eye...never had it before but it hurts like a mother fletcher. The sad news is that I have to stay home from work for two more days, boooo hoooo! Not really, that is a good thing. I typically would not take so much time off but since i am just getting back, I do not have a heck of a lot to do anyway. So yippee, I can stay home and dwink all dey with mese goils.
Cam, I will have the tenders carry you to the hammocks by de pool and lay you down and keep you hydrated wtih good dwinkies. Nighty night.

Shoot, I miss all of you gals, but just got on here and have to leave for dinner in a few min. HOPE to catchup after we are back home. Well, we are still in Long Beach, looks like a full moon tonight, and I had my 2 chinese beers that I brought back, out on the balcony. Had to rush them though, so didn't enjoy as much as I wanted to. Their beer is very mild, and GOOD. OK, this is to Chrissy....
Chrissy dear you will be so pwoud of mese! Two gals got in the elevator with me, and were in swim suits and towels and it is cold out tonight, so we started talking (as they were shivering). Right away I said "You must be from Australia". They were shocked, said yes they are, but everyone thinks they are from England. They are from Queensland, Brisbane....and I told them that is one of our favorite cities. (Which surprised them!). Mainly cuz of the beautiful river winding thru the city and all the water taxis, and those yummy Morland Bay Bugs (or sumtin like dat). Told them our next fav city is Adelaide, and they have wanted to go there. ANYWAY, do I get an A Plus from you for recognizing the Aussie accent???? Pwetty pwease??? This has been a hard trip cuz of my dad, and I weally, weally, need some kudos! Love ya, gal!Love to all of ya, we are catching the big bird home tomorrow!

Oohhh. Meze so happy. . .My big bro had minimal blockage and didn't need the stent - chest pain and lightheadness was prob from medication changes. Yipee! Bad news is that mom's cataract surgery was postponed till Wen. cuz their sterilizing chine got broke. Been away from my home 2 weeks now and am missing my kitty-cat Panda badly! All those bills are missimg me too.

NM-I will be checking in more as promised. Love your DOTD-except for the pepper part as I don't do spicy. LORI-I am as unsure as the P.S. is. She has her hands full w/me. Nobody shoot me for this next comment-I'm too skinny. That's what she said. She thinks because of that my nips may not take,ripples will show even in silicone,fat grafting may not be an option as she doesn't think I have enough,step offs may be my issue if I choose wrong,staying small may be the only option,and the right ribs are pushed in and now i'm deformed where it's concave-and there may be no fixing that. On top of all of that implants have my head spinning as I thought I knew what I wanted and now am not sure which is the best one. Grapefruit contains chemicals that can interact with certain drugs, making them more potent
Doctors are warning about serious health problems caused by mixing medicines and grapefruit.
Although it was already known that some drugs are affected by grapefruit, the number has doubled in the last four years.
There are now some 85 such drugs, including statins, antibiotics, antidepressants, drugs to treat cancer and heart disease, plus others used by patients who have had organ transplants.
Grapefruit can either increase the potency of drugs, potentially leading to an overdose, or render them less effective which puts patients at risk of receiving too little medication.
This has led to sudden death, acute kidney failure, respiratory failure and gastrointestinal bleeding, Canadian experts say.
Dr David Bailey, of the Lawson Health Research Institute, in London, Ontario, said there had been a ‘marked increase’ in prescription drugs that interact with grapefruit. But many doctors and patients remain unaware of the problem.
The list of danger medicines includes treatments for anxiety, depression, allergy, HIV infection, seizures, heart rhythm abnormalities and high cholesterol
He added: ‘Many of the drugs that interact with grapefruit are highly prescribed and are essential for the treatment of common medical conditions.
‘Recently, however, a disturbing trend has been seen. Between 2008 and 2012, the number of medications with the potential to interact with grapefruit and cause serious adverse effects has increased from 17 to 43 – an average rate of increase exceeding six drugs per year.
‘This increase is a result of the introduction of new chemical entities and formulations.’
Of more than 85 drugs that may interact with grapefruit, 43 can have serious side-effects, says a report in the Canadian Medical Association Journal.
Grapefruit contains a compound, furanocoumarin, that prevents the enzymes in the intestine, responsible for keeping foreign substances out of the body, from working properly.
This leads to more medication being absorbed, effectively doubling or even tripling the dose in some cases.

I spent it in the bsthromm--He wasnted to postpone it and I said just double cover that table cuz I'm doint it today--he was so cute- all done and all good.
Now heart stuff Thursday---that I'm concerned about--not this test I never was. So please be oatient with me.

Haha Cami, somehow I didn't expect I'd get sympathy for that. I always felt lucky to have such great genes. Never dreamt it would bite me in the ass one day. Sorry to hear about your mishap at the doctors. Sure they're used to it though. Whenever I get self concious about something at my doctor visits I just remind myself they've seen it all. DorKable--I've had pink eye a couple of times, it is a real pain! What's worse is I can't wear my contacts for a week afterward to avoid re-infecting! I am so unhappy you have to stay home from work, but pink eye is incredibly contagious--I've seen it sweep through a pediatric ward in less than 24 hours! Enjoy your enforced holiday extension!

Thank you Camille, all of my sheets and pillow cases are in the dryer now. I like to hang them on the line but the weather is yucky today so the dryer had to do. Lara, you are right, Cammy has it going on with great motherly advise. I still consider her a sista though, I think she'd prefer that cuz she ain't old enough to be my muther! hehe.
