OK, here is my novel, read at your own risk of boredom.....

Ok girls, let me try this again! First off, GOOD MORNING!!! Hope everyone is doing well....Julie I envy your weight loss....would love to have to buy smaller undies and outies!

The wedding last night was the most amazing event I have ever been to, and we used to go to some nice parties! No expense spared. We were guessing they must have spent $300k or so...everything was TOP NOTCH! Glad we made it too, as it started snowing again when we left, and was coming down hard and snowed all the way there. Took about an hr, roads very slick and drivers going TOO fast, zipping back and forth, amazing we got there, really. SO we didn't know it was such a FORMAL event....first time I could have used my gmas mink stole, if I had known. SO many women were in long formal gowns, etc. Big backup trying to drive into the venue, prolly about 150+ guests. And so slippery outside. ANYWAY, so many attendants, servers, etc...all white gloved. Escorted the guests thru a garden atrium to a huge room where champagne was flowing, ea glass had a fresh raspberry too! Yummmm. Then musical tones by a guy walking around, to announce it was time for the wedding, so we were escorted thru huge halls, to a big rotunda like room...all ceilings looked 30-40', lots of formally dressed windows too. Wedding was awesome, lots of gorgeous tall arrangements, bride looked so beautiful, her gown was amazing. Really, really, nice. Then we are escorted thru wide hallways laden with food, and being cooked in front of you....seared huge scallops, crayfish rosotto, diff zyozas, mu shu pork, fondues, cheeses, meats, foccacia, etc., along with cranberry martinis, and 2 other mixed pretty drinks, with raspberries in them. So we are stuffing ourselves, then realize there is another HUMONGOUS room with 2 diff bars, and then soooo much more food....crab claws, huge shrimp, raw oysters on half shell, tons of veggies, and NZ rare lamb chops (those were awesome!)...etc. I didn't even SEE all the food, there was so much. So we are stuffing ourselves again....THEN find out we are having a 5-course meal!!! SO we are escorted back into the huge rotunda area which is now transformed into formal round tables, the tall flower arrangements with candles cascading down, a 9-member BAND and dancefloor, etc . So after champagne, cranberry martinis, and Jack & Diets, I then have a couple of glasses of Pinto Grigio and 2 more glasses of champagne! All of the courses were so awesome, very elegant and fancy...and then we chose the Beef Filet which was also fantastic. The dessert plate we ea were served had a FLOURLESS CHOCOLATE CAKE (my favorite!), along with strawberries, and a couple of other small desserts. THEN trays of other goodies were put on the table, but none of us had room for that. THEN the wedding cake which was so beautiful was served...ea tier was a 4-layer carrot cake, so awesome!! The band played constantly, Sinatra hits, Adele songs, also Moves Like Jagger, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, which I love. They did everything sounding like the original artists. There was a huge dance floor in the middle, and dancing between ea course. We finally crawled out for the long drive home, which took almost 2 hrs cause we got lost about a mlle or two from our hotel...kept going in circles...it is the hardest place to find! So, dragged in after 2 ayem, but SO GLAD we didn't miss it, as it was just soooooo sooooooo soooooo much fun, and soooooo special! My DH's cousin was so glad we were able to come, and the wedding couple looked so happy and beautiful. OH, the roads were so slick, the bride's fathers car was hit from behind on his way to the wedding...he was ok, just a messed up car!

OK....so DH had to have a dang early wakeup call for us to have the crappy bkfst here, and now he has been NAPPING. Not fair, as I feel like death-warmed-over (and look it!), but I can't nap once I am up. I called Dorothy and woke her up around 9:30, (hoping she forgives me)....she must have been up late too! Anyway, she is coming over here this afternoon....CAN'T WAIT!!!!!, and now the roads all look clear, which is so good. Will pop in later, but have to have this novel published before I lose it! LOL.

Hi everyone--I'm here---Kat that wedding sounds like a royal wedding and all those appetizers--that's unreal and all the yumy food aand drinks and desserts--Oh what an exciting event--How did u not get sick--I would have--how great it was that u wet and with the roads like chit nothing happened to you.

And now to rop it all of u'r with Dork she's really theicing on everything. U 2 have to tell us everythin--well maybe not everything but yes everything--The perfect week-end. It all sounds way exciting.

I can't wait to hear from Dork and Kat.--All I've been doing is sleeping on and off constantly--Blah Oh and eating cookies--Just what my large body needs.

Gotta watch that girl, you just turn your head and she is in your drink!!! And she is trying to take the new insulated glass that Dotty gave me(along with other goodies!). No, Stella, no!!!!!

Kathy, the wedding sounds beautiful. Wow, I just can’t imagine spending that much money for a one day event! Aaaaand, it is something I won’t have to worry about! I hope you can share some photos.

I bet Joey just hates it that he has to stay away, but I hope he understands. Thank you for saying I remind you of Goldie Hawn, very sweet of you. My name “Goldie” came from back in the day when I had a CB radio. My handle was Goldie Locks, due to my long wavy golden hair, and then got shortened to just Goldie.

Just lost my post....arrrgggh..will have to do a quicker version of it. First off, where is MY new bod? I need one much more than either Lori or Dorkie do, for shuah. You girls look maaahhhhvelous, simply mahvelous (think Billy Crystal).

Somehow I am sick again, but now have a burning sore throat and coughing fits, and achy and tired. DH got it too...we both were hit with it as we were leaving NJ, on the plane. Glad I was well (or seemed to be!) from Sat afternoon to Mon afternoon, so I enjoyed the wedding, and visiting with Dotty. SURE HOPE I DIDN'T GIVE DORKIE ANY BAD GERMS!!!

We had such a blast, DH too. DorkAble made him feel like he was "da man", or our pimp or sumtin! Dotty is one wild hot mama, and soooooo funnny too! And....shhhhhhhh....but we even flashed each other, yuppers we did....we showed each other our foobs. And I could only give her very gentle hugs, because of her open wound. And she gave me so many awesome goodies....she even remembered our furbabies (they will love those)!!

Hate to say it, but this will be the 1st time I am not even staying up to see the ball drop...will record it...and it drops at 11pm here. Oh well, instead of watching the ball drop maybe I will watch my eyelids drop (and close).

Want to wish all you wunnnnnnerful girlz of the HTL, and most blessed New Year! I like the number 13, it can be very lucky, and I wish you all the Luckiest, Happiest, Healthiest, New Year. Lets make the Year of the Snake, 2013, the best ever!
