Got the avatar figured out.  Had one of my friends in IT help me resize the photo......I'm so inept at that sort of thing Loopy

Nice avatar photo Sweet.   Pretty walk photos Ruth.  LB you are amazing - love reading about ALL you do.  Had a nice quick 7 mile bike yesterday.  I finished 27 or 33 rads tx today and am exhausted -- going to go for a little walk and hope it revives me a bit. I just want to put my head down on my desk and snooze.

Good job, Lisa, great to see your smiling face!  Ruth do you have a new avatar pic too?  It may be my fave one of you yet.

LongIsland, nice pix of you and your DD last weekend.

Drove in to Madison today but my carpooler's bldg had a fire this morning and they weren't letting anyone in.  Couldn't leave her stranded so we headed to my bldg so I could TCO a few items then we turned around and came home.  Love those impromptu days off.  Got in a nice walk, 90 mins and 5.8 miles.  Walked last night after work, 50 mins and 3.1 miles.

Tried jogging, but my knees don't like it, so no C25K4me.  ♥ to all

Yeah, I change up the aviator picture regularly, otherwise I totally forget how to do it. I am glad you got a picture up sweet, so now we will know who we are looking for at the airport! Badger, luckily I already know what you look like, otherwise I'd be accosting 6 year old girls! Winking

hahaha Ruth - that was part of my plan!  I know I'll recognize you because you've so kindly and regularly shared photos of the WWW and you're avatar is great!  I would like to manipulate my new avatar so it's more of a close up but just don't have the mental capacity or time to figure it out right now. At least it's a bit more close up than the St Maarten pool photo was Smile

Let me tell you how badly I need the California Dreaming trip.......lately I feel like if I don't get some time away from the office (and I mean AWAY, not just 2 miles away at home) to decompress my head is going to explode.  I'm actually feeling like, omg, why did I schedule this trip - I don't have TIME to be out of the office for a week.  Shit - what was I thinking!

THAT'S how bad I need to get away!

    Love y'all!

13.8km walk today. Deceivingly sunny and warm, not at all the weather they say is coming in for the weekend! Maybe the forecast will be wrong ????? Nerdy

Badger you are right, I'd be chasing 4 year olds!

Yes, sweet, you definitely DO need a break; and you will, for sure, be more than 2 miles from home!

I had done bike sprints on Tuesday and boy, did that exhaust me Wednesday and Thursday.  So I did nothing for two days.  Today I did treadmill for 40 minutes.

Sweet, dreading going on vacation is a sure sign you need it!  I was like that before my last vacation.  I wasn't even sure I wanted to go but I changed my mind when I got there.  It reminded me of the value of vacation.

I think I'm jealous of the California Dreaming.  We actually had snow this morning.  Not for long and it didn't stick but it was snow nonetheless.  It was 86 just a few days ago.

Heavy rains and flooding here today so exercise was limited to 30 minutes on the Elliptical at the gym. Sure wish we could have redirected them to the California fires. Expecting a gorgeous weekend so will try to get some more exercise in.

    Happy Friday ladies!

Great new pic Sweet, two more weeks yay, and don't worry I'll probably take my laptop with us just in case I need to work so if you're desperate you can use it Winking Poor Ruth she has been the best planner, I might buy her a chocolate bar in Ghiradelli Square to say thank you Nerdy I heard from Ann, she is evacuated from her home and staying with friends, poor San Diego and to think most of those darned fires deliberately set, it breaks your heart when you see the devastation.  Ms_mez you just have to think, one week to go and if you need to put your head down, just do it. TwoHobbies you dream of California, I'm dreaming of somenice cold   weather although it did cool down a little today.

Tomorrow morning Eduardo is teaching Body Combat at my gym, guess where I'll be at 8amLoopy

Ann.....and everyone on evac....I am so sorry you are going through such difficult, scary times. Sending hopes and prayers there is minimal loss of things, and NO loss of life.

Body Combat with the wonderful Eduardo this morning, I am smashed - my arms, my legs but the exhaustion I am feeling is fabulous, I know I left all I had out on that floor.

Hi sculpted sisters-- I'm back! What a week. My father died last Friday and I went to the funeral (in the midwest). On my way home I learned about the fires. The DH had already loaded up the car in preparation for evacuation, and when he got to the airport to pick me up, we learned our neighborhood was evacuated. A dear friend had volunteered to put us up, so we went there. Ended up staying two days until the evac was lifted.  The hillsides around our neighborhood are blackened, including some of my favorite hiking trails. But the house is OK, no smoke damage or anything. Very few houses were lost. The firefighters did a great job. The nearby park was used as a staging area for the fire fighters, and it's a little beat up due to hasty tree trimmings and helicopter landings.

So... exercise. Walked laps around the Vegas airport on my layovers. Walked yesterday to view the fire damage. That's about it. Have been taking pain pills round the clock for the frozen shoulder. I think it may finally be letting up.

Ann....wonderful to hear that you and family are safe, returned home, and that "home" was still standing. Sympathies for the loss of your father. It is so hard to lose a loved parent.

20km bike ride with hubby today....against the friggin wind both ways, it seemed!!! But his knee seems to have held up, which is a good thing. The predicted rain has just started...supposed to last now through the long weekend.

Beautiful weather here today, perfectly for enjoying lunch with a friend at a local winery. Got a nice walk in too.

_Ann_ - So sorry to hear about your father. My thoughts are with you and your family during this sad time. Glad your home is fine. Please know that I am thinking of you and your family.

Odie - we also had beautiful weather today. I power walked/jogged at the park in the early afternoon. This evening we traveled to have dinner with my side of the family. Still very nice so we ate outside.

Ann, I am so sorry to hear about your Dad.

Here is my daughter and I after the 5K this morning. It was my first organized run ever. She's been running for about seven years. My younger daughter runs too, but she's out of state. This daughter is just about 5 hours away, not so far by Texas standards. It was a beautiful morning.

Thank you Ruth. It was so wonderful to be able to do this, thinking back to a year ago when I was so weak from my last chemo treatment that I could barely drag myself out of bed.

YAY AnnieLane, you did it and what a terrific photo - well done!  ThumbsUp

(((Ann))) My condolences to you and family ><.  So pleased to read your home is unharmed and what a stressful week you have had.  Hang in there beauty and pleased to read your shoulder is starting to feel more normal.

Sweet, I really like your new photo although I enjoyed the poolside one too.

Ran 10k this am with a 1:03:57 time.
