I like this thread, seems to be lots of pet lovers! I have 4 fur babies: collie, shepard, pit bull, & English Bulldog plus 4 horned babies (goats). 3 clawed babies (cats) and an assortment of fins (koi) and feathers (chickens). Keeps us busy, but there's lots of wet kisses and love.

Love that pic of Kris

Most of it is sand. I use shampoo for white dogs for both, and conditioner. His coat is soooo thick, I can't get a brush through it. She gets the frizzies. He smelled pretty bad too.

debiann --do you have room for you. I have two a lab/ pit and a german wired haired pointer.

Baaa debiann. I have 13 Nigerian Dwarf goats. I was into showing goats but too expensive and my goats were never that great show quality. Not that I don't love them all, well maybe not Mr. Stinky Bucky Boy. Yes I do, from a distance.

yes, luv, I'm in Sachse!

Teka - I just LOVE the collie in the horse trough!! When we lived in Davis CA it got so friggin hot 110-118 that we got a plastic kiddie pool for our setter doberman mix and our border collie to just lay in and walk around! It kept them from dying from the heat- truly. When we were home they were inside in the AC, but someimes we had to go to work long hours and outside they went. ugh.. Spookie Kris looks thrilled. sometimes getting filthy and having to get a bath is worth it!

Debiann - here is the picture of my hair you wanted to see. Wearing my husband's shirt and he just had to get the measuring stick out lol

Beautiful!!!!! So shiny!!! Isn't it hard to care for? My hair MAY be 3" long. I gripe about fooling with that.
0 -
Yes it's a big pain! My husband has to brush it for me.
0 -
Wow boyd, that is beautiful hair! Looks so healthy.
sas - Is there room for me? Hardly. I skip the traditional exercise routines in favor of leaping over dogs all day.
luvmygoats - don't know for sure what my goats are. The three girls (Baily,Bella, Bonny) are some kind of dwarf, 1 has short hair, the other 2 are angoras. The boy (Bucky) is neutered, so not stinky. He's mid-size. They all have horns, do yours?

Had a great dinner. I am such a kid...it is ok..I am allowed to be cause I have paid my dues. Anywho, Hubby found this really neat coloring book. Nothing better than a 3D Minion!
Of course I colored while watching the debate. Cause, well you know.

First time I have had Fox News on my TV in ten years.

Anyone know if there is a lymph node behind your ear? Over the last 6 months I have had such a problem with swelling behind my left ear on my neck
0 -
Frey, do you think your hubby can help me find a 3D Eeyore?
0 -
- anyone else have sore arm pits after shaving? Not sure if it's from the deodorant or what? The one side that bothers me is the one that is swelling. I've seen posts where women stop wearing deodorant but don't know if I could stand that, I sweat a lot. Also I use men's deodorant and so does my teenage daughter because it works so much better. I hope it's safe

Okay the deodorant we use is right guard xtreme clear the active ingredient is Aluminum Zirconium Tetrachlorohydrex GLY 19.0%

Hi Boyd. Yes there are lymph nodes behind your ears. They are all over the place. I haven't had to shave my pits, at least the affected side, since my mastectomy. It got hit first in 2008/2009 with third degree burns (caught on fire by an exploding tiki torch), then they took thirty-some lymph nodes from my pit, so anyway, I don't need to shave it. I use baking soda for deodorant -- and it works. I sweat. It's terrible how much I sweat. I sweat weird too. The left side of my head sweats (about where my part used to be) but the right doesn't. Anyway, if you want to avoid putting toxins in your armpits, buy or make a muff, put some baking soda in a nice box, and dab it on each morning. I swear to you I've been doing it since 2012 and have not had BO that whole time. Anyway, that's my bit of experience to share.

Loverly--dozing off and on. The mouth is better and my nose hasn't bled in 24 hours but I developed hives and an UTI so I'm back in the decadron steroid and an antibiotic so more hot flashes and no sleep....my hooha can't catch a break! Then to add insult to injury, I was helping my dad earlier in the garage, standing on a craft ladder, forgot that my iPhone was tucked under my bra strap and it fell about 9 feet to the ground. So even though I really needed to go home and nap, I trudged off to UbreakIfix and spent $104 to get it fixed.
Roses--I'm so sorry about your hospice hassles. I wish I had an answer but there have been some wise statements already made.
Chevy--y'all are too cute in your pics!
Frey--yay for getting out and eating what you want. I haven't had any restrictions on not eating certain foods because of infection but my WBC's have been anywhere from 13k to 29k because of my esophagitis. I am trying to avoid acidic or spicy foods to try to control that. Hopefully now that chemo is done, I'll be back to eating normal in a few weeks. And I want that coloring book!
Boyd--you've also gotten a lot good advice. As for tumor pain, mine did hurt. I have fibroid cysts that wax and wane through my cycle and they get tender. I had no other "red flag" changes in my breast other than a new lump that I thought was a cyst until it turned rock hard. My PCP, the mammogram radiologist and the radiologist that did my biopsy all thought I had a fibroadenoma. Boy, were they surprised. As for a lymph node behind the ear, yes there is one. I'm prone to ear infections and it swells up whenever I get one. Specifically, it's the posterior auricle glands.

Frey--adorable pup...I had a shepherd that only looked like that when I dressed him in a costume

Marlanab - thanks for the info. Neither one of the radiologist have said anything about it being anything other than cancer or a lymph node. Will find out more next week. At least I have had great radiologists who take the time to talk to me and call me before ever meeting me to let me know she reviewed my films. I am very impressed with the care here. Hi Marlana! Girl, I have UTI here too. My 4th one this year! All the nerves in my extremities wake up almost every time I pee...no fun right b4 my trip. Good thing I have some Abx from hubby prescribed as prophylactic for traveler's diarrhea. My sympathy to you. So, the Decadron is keeping you up? Booooo....I will be boarding the plane pretty soon. Here is a hug to you.
