Microfat grafting or BRAVA doctor recommendations

A couple of years ago, when I had hope that I could also use this method, I had found a Dr. in Santa Monika. He was the same Dr. Suzanne Somers had used. I think his name was Aronowitz.

Yes, he is doing some kind of stem cell fat grafting. It was supposed to be part of a trial. Not sure if it is still going on or not.

Hi, thank you for this thread. I am also looking to have a 22 yearly single saline implant removed and hope to have a revision with Multi-staged fat grafting for total breast reconstruction after mastectomy. Have you found additional surgeons that do this. Hopefully in the midwest? Thanks Sue

Hi, How do I find the post that has doctors listed? Thanks

I had a single mastectomy almost three months ago. The intention was for the plastic surgeon to put a breast pump in at the time of surgery and then go back and do implant later. but he wasn't able to do the breast pump - due to insufficient circulation I guess.
Now I'm not sure I want the implants. One reason is it would require two surgeries - one to put breast pump in and that one would involve drains. and a second surgery for implants. Plus it seems possible and even likely that at some point the implants would need to be removed. I'm 74 and don't want another surgery at 80 if I can help it.
He said he could do autologous fat grafting with a reduction and lift on the other side to make the other breast approx the same size. There would be no drains and it would be an easy surgery according to the doctor. I'm leaning towards this but it seems pretty possible, even likely, that there would be some fat loss after surgery. So the breast would be even smaller. He said he could only do a small B cup with the skin retained from the mastectomy. The original breast on the other side is a D cup.
I'm thinking I probably won't get the ideal looking breast but if the "new" breast is a bit small I can compensate with a padded bra or prosthesis. But if I have to wear a prosthesis is it worth having the liposuction and injection? I'm wearing one now. At this time I have one large breast and a skin mound that kinda resembles a small breast.
I want to believe the PS that I can get a decent result from autologous fat grafting but I'm considering a second opinion. If the second doctor says this isn't realistic, then I'll been even more stressed and confused. I "sold" my husband on this idea and now he thinks I should do it.
Anyone done this procedure with just one injection?
