  • On Monday I was down the extra pound. Probably won't get to the gym to weigh today.

Same this week, but had a Dr appt this morning and she was very happy with the -15.

Down another, which is good because we leave on vacation on Sunday; so I need those extra 6 pounds to play with.

  • Both of you ladies are inspirational! 15 lbs and 6 lbs. Wonderful.

I weighed at the YMCA today and the number was 3 1/2 lbs less than the wicked bathroom scale. But still HIGH. I'm 6 lbs over my low weight last winter. The Viking cruise added on 3 lbs. And the summer in MN added on another 3. So much attention to be paid to eating healthier and mindfully.

Message to self. Smaller portions of the main dish and larger portions of salad and/or veggies.

Ruthbru, great minds! I nearly shared that on Facebook a few minutes ago! I like triscuits.

Glad you enjoyed the food on your cruise. I wish weight loss was as easy as weight gain. Sigh…

I weighed yesterday at the gym and was down 1.6 lbs. I have a hair appointment tomorrow and won't be going to the gym. I'm eating less and exercising more and getting results! Yay!

Good job everyone. I have been away 2 weeks on this thread as I was back and forth to the family beach cottage for my DH's side of the family beach week. So, after 2 weeks, I am down .5 which is a win from my perspective!

Today was our first morning with temps in the 40's…will be high 60's later in the day, but the fall is coming in fast.

Have a good week everyone, TT

Trmtab, that's definitely a win. With your lead-in, I was expecting a gain.

another .5 for me…I am the steady turtle on the race right now. Trying to keep that up ahead of the holidays season that starts a month from now….trip to Seattle, thanksgiving, husband's b'day, xmas holiday parties, etc. etc.

I stayed the same, which is good because I had lots of eating events last week.

I'm doing yard work this week and haven't gone to the gym to weigh.

Nice to have eating events and not gain weight, Ruthbru!

Yikes, I'm up 2 lbs this morning according to the wicked bathroom scale. My wedding ring is tight, so the extra weight is partly fluid retention.

I weighed yesterday on the bathroom scale and am maintaining. Happy with that. I was on the way to the gym and realized I didn't feel like exercising. I had a Covid vaccine shot on Tuesday and always feel achy and blah for a day afterwards.

I'm the same Wed - Wed, but my weekly average is down a bit…so I'm okay with that

It took a week for my arm not to be sore to the touch after this year's COVID shot. My mom actually developed "COVID arm", a rash/hot spot for a week. Still happy to get flu and covid shot and be boosted for travel and in the classroom. Interesting news this week that the magic behind the mRNA vaccine amplified the positive effects of cancer treatments.

My arm was just a tiny bit sore from my flu & Covid shots. DH was more sore. I am definitely grateful to be able to get both of them!

    Down .5

Yesterday I was up 1.2. With the holidays ahead, big challenges.
