Welp, had a sick feeling in my stomach. I only ate the ramen with other stuff put in, even with two immodium before eating, I managed to poop my pants. Total yuck, needless to say, need to wash them up and take more immodium. Yuck is all I can say.

Still pooping which sucks rocks, I really hope it stops, I have the appointment tomorrow.

After about 8 immodium I am still pooping myself, the floor, couch and blanket. Worried about going to the appointment I will have to book another appointment. Now started vomiting.

@cookie54 I’m loving the pictures of your Christmas tree and Buster Lorenzo🥰I looks so calming and relaxing when the Christmas lights are on. and yes I have been researching natural healing herbs to make tea with. today I peeled 2 fresh small beet root with and chipped up the rest and added them to some boiling bottled Saratoga water. I added 2 cinnamon sticks, sliced orange peel a few slices of ginger root and turmeric root sliced with ground black pepper. (it activates the healing properties of turmeric). after I let it steep in the boiling water I poured it into a blender with 2 tablespoons of raw honey 🍯. then I poured it into it into a mug with ice cubes and sipped it with a straw. everything in this recipe works in a synergetic combination to regulat blood pressure and blood vessels, in support of the liver, heart and helps the good cholesterol in your blood 🩸 improves energy and supports healthy metabolism and is good for your skin. it works Ayurvedicly. I also learned that blueberries smoothie should be mixed with a little rosemary . blueberry’s benefits within t.he berry are activated by an enzyme in the rosemary to act as an anti cancer agent… And fresh parsley steeped in boiling water is excellent for kidneys & bladder and relieves bloating from water retention. these are the natural ingredients I’ve used, and I like to try different herbal teas from the market. 🫖 ☕️😊

@cookie54 I think it was a limited time bug. Initially I thought I could not go but after way too many immodium which did next to nothing, it just had to be something I ate that did not agree. The big D resolved, the nausea and vomit resolved and now I am just plain starving. Did buy some applesauce, sugar free jello cups and some reduced sugar plain yogurt with vanilla taste. Will likely take a day before returning to my diet. Got some apple sauce and eggs as well.

Prebook appointments took a couple of hours, they were there by 730, I did have diaper on and alao once of my cloths wedged into my but, that stops it if it came. So far today, seems fine and will not push the envelope beyond what I bought. Got two nanners, see if I can stand to eat them. Nothing left for this week until the 30th, have MRI and CT and another appointment.

Other than that, tired but going to fix an egg and put it in a tortilla without the extra fat. Later may mixup some jello and yogurt together as both are sugar free and yogurt has nothing else in it. Think I would microwave the egg instead of frying in griddle. Other symptoms are fading and I am in process of washing up the stuff messed up from yesterday. Not sure about the nanners but I can see mixing the yogurt and jello together in the magic bullet, throw nanners in there to disguise the taste. I may turn out to like the blend and I got water flavouring which works in the magic bullet. Who knows, I might develop a taste for bananas. I will post later. I could also make plain white rice or another rice package. Beans and lentils will be put off til possibly tomorrow but keep things simpler today. The magic bullet with jello, yogurt and some banana with some mio water flavoring may make a nice taste.

I am happy today is done, two steps left, one more meeting with neurosurgeon, anesthesiologist and then surgery still on Jan 7. I have to pack my little suitcase on wheels with pants, undies and possibly sneakers because assuming all goes well, I will be walking circles in there and need shoes to wear.

I do hope everyone has a good day, in everyones pockets including my own. I really need to learn not to have a massive cow if digestive system goes haywire, just learn to put on the right stuff, create barriers to look after skin as well. I really distressed myself with messes I made which easily cleaned up with an alcohol spray. If I can be OK with brain surgery, an upset stomach should not cause so many tears that I had but I felt much better once out of the house.

So sorry you had to go through that, but glad it was a short term problem. As usual, you handled it with grace. Will be in your pocket until surgery and beyond.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all my brave sisters.

Peace, Joy and stable scans for everyone.

@tanya_djamila , @eleanora and @shanagirl and everyone else, thank you for the good wishes, they are truly appreciated, now that the belly issues are over, planning some regular dishes that I like to eat. Planning some crispy lentils done in air fryer and an egg in the mini griddle, take a hashbrown to have as well and possible chopped hot dog as well. Also need to include shredded cheese in meals as well, eat up peppers and riced veggies. Not putting all that in one meal, just some ideas for my self.

I did sleep all night but in two places, sitting on couch, woke up after a sleep at 450am then toddled off to bed, woke up 950 am, that was fine, feels good.

I also want to try doing a mix of yogurt and jello, add them to the magic bullet with a banana and put a package of MIO to flavour it to a fruit punch, that might make a good snack. I will see. I do not enjoy bananas overall but they are supposed to be good for me and I can hide flavours or textures I do not enjoy easily, I have also thought about savoury bananas done in the air fryer with savoury seasonings and other stuff, will look that up later. For now, may blend up the mix now, think I will dump in the red jello cup, add a yogurt cup, banana and a pack of the mio. I will post if it was good.

Will likely wash more stuff that needs to be done, sweep and do a quick mop of the floor and cleanup stuff that is sitting behind the bed, breakdown boxes in my room and pull out the wee suitcase to bring a change of clothes and chargers for my phones to watch movies.

Anyway, Happy Christmas Eve, Merry Christmas and Happy holidays and anything celebrated in your families. If you are single, hope you order a nice dinner as a treat and enjoy books or TV. Not sure what I will do tomorrow but that is OK, I think my DB may bring me leftovers that I can dress up myself. @illimae Happy anniversary!

@sf-cakes Happy Birthday!!! That cake looks delicious. I didn't know you were only 56. Cancer sure is some bullshit.

I had a reasonably healthy breakfast but now just had a guilty pleasures lunch- a tiny bag of cheetos, a Coke Zero and a Christmas cookie.

Merry Christmas to those who celebrate. Happy Holidays to all. Wishing a happy, healthy new year to us all.

I put the red jello container, yogurt, half banana, bit of water and a pack of fruit punch mio in the magic bullet, blended it all in there. It was delicious of course and pretty healthy with protein. It did taste quite good.

I am debating using up the banana peel by soaking it and then putting it into my chopper with some cheese, and doritos and once it is all combined, add this mix into the air fryer with maybe 1/2 to 2/3 cups of lentils, heat the mix through. If I do not eat the mix as it comes out of the chopper, option two sees mix spread out on a tortilla and put another tortilla on top and turn into a quesa dilla vibe. I will see.

  • Merry Christmas to all who celebrate and even if you do not, the message of peace, love and hope is something we can all appreciate. DD and family will be here soon for our meatless Christmas Eve meal - shrimp, crab, and salmon in various forms. DD hosts Christmas brunch tomorrow and then we head to SILs parents for an evening together. Blessed to be with family.

Hi All - I've been missing again for awhile, due to various things, but wanted to drop into the living room for at least a few minutes to wish everyone who celebrates a very, very, Merry Christmas 🎄! I also agree with Goldens that even if you don't celebrate, the message of peace, love, and joy is one that is universal and something for us all ❤️.

I'm going to try to catch up with everyone over the coming weekend. I think about all of you a lot and just wish everyone so much love and happiness. Hugs and good wishes to all! I'm so glad to have you in my life.

Merry Christmas and holidays for people celebrating today, hope you all have a great day no matter what today looks like. DB brought over a toothbrush and chocolates, toothbrush will be used in hospital whilst I am there. Chocolates are good. SIL texted just before 9, was going to sleep again, changed mind and watch Facebook short videos for a bit instead. It was nice to get a message.

Nothing on the agenda today, as it is Christmas and I have leftover money, got a couple english muffins, yeah I could have made them myself but wanted the Mc D variety as a treat and will most likely eat up both. After breakfast, will continue laundry, floors, cat section and breaking down of boxes. We have garbage pickup and this time there is no limit on bags allowed out which is good, need to catch up on all of it, goes out on Sunday.

Post egg mcmuffins from Mc donalds, food today will consist of rice, lentils, peppers and possibly another egg. I will see. I do think jello, mio, bananas and yogurt will be a regular addition to diet, have not had any applesauce but sure it would also be good with the yogurt. My stomach is feeling just fine now but glad I had to eat that stuff as it opened up doors to some fruit. MIO fruit punch variety makes it taste good as well. I will keep it all up to include the fruit.

Anyway, hope all have a happy holiday and in pockets for all.

@sf-cakes Happy Birthday to you, hope you had or will have a great day.

@goldensrbest I'll be right over, sounds like a great meal, enjoy yourself.

I am still not committed to a Christmas dinner for myself, DB may be bring leftovers for me, hoping for stuffing mostly if he has some, do have to locate that recipe, check newspaper for the recipe. Never forget putting 3/4 cups of sage the one hear, DB removed most of it. SIL wrote it that way and I was not experienced enough in the kitchen to know any better. That story came years after the incident. Stuffing still turned out just fine.
