Welp, had a sick feeling in my stomach. I only ate the ramen with other stuff put in, even with two immodium before eating, I managed to poop my pants. Total yuck, needless to say, need to wash them up and take more immodium. Yuck is all I can say.

Still pooping which sucks rocks, I really hope it stops, I have the appointment tomorrow.

After about 8 immodium I am still pooping myself, the floor, couch and blanket. Worried about going to the appointment I will have to book another appointment. Now started vomiting.

@cookie54 I’m loving the pictures of your Christmas tree and Buster Lorenzo🥰I looks so calming and relaxing when the Christmas lights are on. and yes I have been researching natural healing herbs to make tea with. today I peeled 2 fresh small beet root with and chipped up the rest and added them to some boiling bottled Saratoga water. I added 2 cinnamon sticks, sliced orange peel a few slices of ginger root and turmeric root sliced with ground black pepper. (it activates the healing properties of turmeric). after I let it steep in the boiling water I poured it into a blender with 2 tablespoons of raw honey 🍯. then I poured it into it into a mug with ice cubes and sipped it with a straw. everything in this recipe works in a synergetic combination to regulat blood pressure and blood vessels, in support of the liver, heart and helps the good cholesterol in your blood 🩸 improves energy and supports healthy metabolism and is good for your skin. it works Ayurvedicly. I also learned that blueberries smoothie should be mixed with a little rosemary . blueberry’s benefits within t.he berry are activated by an enzyme in the rosemary to act as an anti cancer agent… And fresh parsley steeped in boiling water is excellent for kidneys & bladder and relieves bloating from water retention. these are the natural ingredients I’ve used, and I like to try different herbal teas from the market. 🫖 ☕️😊

So sorry you had to go through that, but glad it was a short term problem. As usual, you handled it with grace. Will be in your pocket until surgery and beyond.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all my brave sisters.

Peace, Joy and stable scans for everyone.

I put the red jello container, yogurt, half banana, bit of water and a pack of fruit punch mio in the magic bullet, blended it all in there. It was delicious of course and pretty healthy with protein. It did taste quite good.

I am debating using up the banana peel by soaking it and then putting it into my chopper with some cheese, and doritos and once it is all combined, add this mix into the air fryer with maybe 1/2 to 2/3 cups of lentils, heat the mix through. If I do not eat the mix as it comes out of the chopper, option two sees mix spread out on a tortilla and put another tortilla on top and turn into a quesa dilla vibe. I will see.

  • Merry Christmas to all who celebrate and even if you do not, the message of peace, love and hope is something we can all appreciate. DD and family will be here soon for our meatless Christmas Eve meal - shrimp, crab, and salmon in various forms. DD hosts Christmas brunch tomorrow and then we head to SILs parents for an evening together. Blessed to be with family.

Merry Christmas and holidays for people celebrating today, hope you all have a great day no matter what today looks like. DB brought over a toothbrush and chocolates, toothbrush will be used in hospital whilst I am there. Chocolates are good. SIL texted just before 9, was going to sleep again, changed mind and watch Facebook short videos for a bit instead. It was nice to get a message.

Nothing on the agenda today, as it is Christmas and I have leftover money, got a couple english muffins, yeah I could have made them myself but wanted the Mc D variety as a treat and will most likely eat up both. After breakfast, will continue laundry, floors, cat section and breaking down of boxes. We have garbage pickup and this time there is no limit on bags allowed out which is good, need to catch up on all of it, goes out on Sunday.

Post egg mcmuffins from Mc donalds, food today will consist of rice, lentils, peppers and possibly another egg. I will see. I do think jello, mio, bananas and yogurt will be a regular addition to diet, have not had any applesauce but sure it would also be good with the yogurt. My stomach is feeling just fine now but glad I had to eat that stuff as it opened up doors to some fruit. MIO fruit punch variety makes it taste good as well. I will keep it all up to include the fruit.

Anyway, hope all have a happy holiday and in pockets for all.

Merry Christmas may sweet friends. Once again your support has helped ease this mama's heart. We had a lovely day and everyone is settled in for some sleep. Tomorrow is the D day for leaving. Hope DH takes the lead again. We had turkey and all the fixings from Publix. It was excellent. The mashed potatoes were awful. They cooked them and froze the the mashed and they tasted off. Chucked them and broke out the Bob Evans ready made potatoesl

Sad I didn't see my DS and his bride, as they were visiting her family in Atlanta. Spoke with sis and she'll be hunkered down during the significant ice storm coming. It looks to be significant in some area, so please be safe.

Thank you shanagirl for your wonderful pep talk. I needed it. Mara, thinking of you and praying all goes well and you can get back to your busy schedule and be healthy. Mel, prayers for your daughter to get thru this and on with her life. 10 years is quite an achievement on Ibrance.

Blessings to all of you and in your pockets for all your needs.

@shanagirl-Thank you. Candle lighting is more meaningful for me too than the "in your pocket" phrase. I'm glad you had such a nice Christmas and didn't let your youngest daughter spoil the holiday. People are pretty unbelievable now a days.

@irishlove Hope that your daugher's move out goes smoothly tomorrow. You and your husband have been more than patient. Sounds like you had a great meal once you subbed out the mashed potatoes.

@irishlove Glad to be of some help.

Looks like we are in the middle of the icestorm which is going on now, thankfully do not need to go out. I asked SIL if they are going out today, she said no and I said that was good. I was going to do some salting but will hold off since the walk does not need to be used until Sunday night. Even with cleats on do not need to wipe out and hit my head on cement and the building will take care of that and I will check in a day or two to salt up the steps and the sidewalk to take out my garbage. There is no bag limit and I need to empty out the house while I can.

I am stumped for food, debating what I wish to have, could have my own egg mcmuffin or egg tortilla and hash browns OR even microwave an egg, chop into some cheese and throw in the air fryer. Not sure yet. I could also bake up some eggs whipped up in the magic bullet with some regular mayo. I still quite enjoy those, I will post what I decide to have later.

Anyone in path of ice storm stay safe, I do hope everyone has a good day, I am in pockets for all including my own to start getting stuff cleaned and boxes broken down and good nutritious food.

@shanagirl - So very sorry about your oldest daughter and how things went for you and your family re that issue this Christmas. I'm glad though, that so much of the rest of your Christmas worked out well. I have two daughters (in their 40's) who have been refusing to speak to me for several years now, because my younger sister has an ax to grind with me and has managed to convince them that I am the worst person alive. I don't know what it is with these grown people that allows them to do this sort of thing. You are right, it is extremely selfish and there is just no thought for others whatsoever. I went to the home of an old childhood friend and her husband, with the old friends sister, who is also an old childhood friend, and had a lovely time. My old neighborhood friend made brunch for everyone. Their early 30's son was there too, and behaved in a very "grown up" way, thank goodness. An old childhood friend of the husband's also joined us. We just ate and then sat around and had some real nice and easy conversation about anything and everything. A very calm and relaxing time.

@chicagoan - Oh how terrible for your brother, and then for you and the rest of your family too, of course. Just so glad to hear that he will be OK. A walk and MacDonald's sure beats losing your brother; well worth a little shift in the holiday meal. These things we learn as we go through life, like thinking we might outlive our siblings, and then getting hit with the , "maybe not" reality. I've had some of that too. It never turns out like we plan. Well again, I'm just so glad that you're OK (and improving with that hip!), and your family is OK. I too like the candle lighting idea, and I'm going to have to find myself a battery operated one. Merry Christmas.
