@tougholdcrow thank you, that’s so sweet of you .. I feel the love ❤️. What a journey it is! Just finished another 10 day radiation treatment regimen. I followed my breath while it took the time to position me, and imagined dancing spirits radiating love to me as they cleared out the skin Mets cancer cells with the radiation beams joyfully.
That’s really the work though, breath in love, the light of universal healing radiant light and love and radiate love as you breath out to all beings everywhere. Helps inside and out. And be in the present moment in all its amazing depth and beauty. My practice guides me and helps so much. Calming the mind at least, and opening to the universal oneness one inch at a time lol! I’ve been reading and doing some Ram Das teachings , and his centering in love meditations are lovely. Not zen which I know you practice, but beautiful.0 -
@rlschaller I'm a Ram Dass fan and almost of that generation (a younger sister). He has some thoughts put to music which I really enjoy. I like to listen to I Am Loving Awareness when I'm going to sleep. Yes, I am so glad I have breath practice to get me through scans! We are much larger than this moment.

I listened to the Ram Das music / meditations last night after reading your post . Lovely. Here is the link for anyone interested. I use his script for I am loving awareness from his book “ Walking eachother Home” in my classes, this musical version I had not heard. So calming ! I’ve subscribed to this channel now of Ram Das and EastForestmusic. Lol love the expansion of practice ❤️❤️🍃🍁🥰

l enjoy entering the MBTA northbound at the Kendall/MIT stop because of the art display of holographic star images. Feeling part of such a vast universe is calming.

@maggie15 @threetree i also find them calming, and expansive. Sometimes entering into the universal field of light which the universe pics invite, as I breathe allows my mind to still and the inner stillness within me to expand into peace part of a greater whole. Love John Muir’s quote he says it so well!

I took my granddaughter to a symphony performance of Holst's The Planets which had a moving visual display of NASA images of each of the planet and their moons. Really wonderful. What a universe!

I feel the same way whenever I sit with images like that; they make my whole body relax. I sometimes pair that feeling with a simple breath mantra to stay grounded.

@threetree i know, that’s why it’s a practice lol. I read recently it takes 28 days and 5 minutes a day to form a new habit. I’m going for the kindness and forgiveness habit.. I’ll keep you posted lol… 🙏
@henry994 i love a mantra Breathe practice too. So calming to quiet the mind and center with an image.
