My first casette was Fleetwood Mac's Rumors. My stepdad usually hated my choice of music, but oddly he liked it when I sang along to that one while doing housework or homework. For me making honor roll one time, he bought me both a Beatles and Rolling Stones casette.

We took a quick dog walk, I've been cleaning house & will go to Core & Zumba tonight.

By the time I finished work, we were under a severe weather advisory. Thought it prudent to stick close to home so prepped my “go bag” and kept at closet reorg.

    Stay safe, Badger!

Walked yesterday and today. Also played Mahjong with friends this afternoon. Dh had baby duty while I played and all went well.

Gym Sunday and Monday, not again until Thursday…work, dentist, piano class taking up too much of my time this mid-week!

Definitely stay safe in crazy weather! Happy Tax Day - we filed on Saturday. TT

Ruth, do the WWW walk then eat, or eat then walk? Another rainy day so I had to resort to the dreadmill over lunch break.

We had high winds & lots of rain yesterday but nothing like the storms folks closer to Madison had. Here’s a pic a friend of mine took of a hailstone in her back yard. Yikes!

Yikes! Hopefully no one had planted their flowers yet!

WWW walks first for an hour. That way if someone has to take off, they don't miss the exercise & people can linger over breakfast if they want.

It was a beautiful day here. Went for an afternoon walk between cleaning, cleaning and more cleaning!

A quick check-in. HIT this morning & we are about to do a dog walk. Tomorrow, DH, DS, & DIL fly out to North Carolina for a family wedding. They will all come home Sunday, but I will stay & hang out with my sister for the rest of the week. Since she lives only an hour away from Wonderland, we plan to have lunch on Tuesday. I am looking forward to lots of fun in the next week!

Safe travels Ruth. Can't wait until Tuesday!

Badger: Yikes - that's huge! NC is in a drought and some areas have started water restrictions.

Little baby had quite a day with ups and downs so didn't get to walk as I had planned.

Well, the bad weather across the country has totally messed with our travel schedule. Instead of being in Raleigh at 1:30, we hopefully will be there at 10pm....we're in Nashville right now, which was never on the itinerary!

Ruth & Wonderland how fun! Have an extra hug for me!

We don’t plant annuals until after Mother’s Day. Some of the perennials are coming up but they are on their own weather-wise.

Left home early yesterday to take MIL to an appt. Got home after noon then worked until supper time. More storms today so sticking close to home. Tomorrow I will hit the gym for sure!

Travel update: We finally made it to our hotel about 11:00 last night. A long travel day!! So, now the fun can begin (after I find some coffee!).

Ruth: Yikes about the travel problems! Hate that you missed Friday night activities. Thankful you will be at the wedding today.

Badger: Walking during a sunny, cool day is the best!

Walked today but not in cool weather. Cooler weather is on the way for a few days, though.

Beautiful picture! You all look happy and have forgotten the difficult travel day that got you there!

Enjoy visiting with your sister and then Wonderland on Tuesday, so jealous you get to visit each other.

Last week only got to the gym 3x, hope to be back to 4x this week. Got to the gym last night and today at lunch, so that is a good start to the week.

Only two more weeks of classes before we have two weeks for finals and graduation…the end of my 38th year is in sight! TT

We had a fun brunch yesterday & got safely to my sister's. Today I will get to see my brand new grand-nephew! Here's a picture someone took of the dinner/dance which I thought was so beautiful, the 'tent' was clear so you had some protection, but it looked like you were outside.

Ruth: That venue is beautiful! The night picture is amazing. I know you loved holding and smelling the new baby!

TT: Wow! 38 years. You're a pro at navigating though the next month.

Little baby had a great day today. We ended it with a stroll with dd.

TT, I also taught for 38 years, so I know the commitment that takes!

No exercise yesterday for me. I ran around doing errands with my sister all morning & we got to spend the afternoon with my niece and her new baby, which was so fun. Now, I better start getting ready so I won't be in my pajamas when Wonderland comes!

Wonderland & I had a fantastic day! We had a delicious lunch at a restaurant on the lake& checked out the fancy boats & then visited on my sister's dock, where my niece stopped by with the baby!

Had the best day yesterday with Ruth! Her sister is so gracious to let us visit at her home. We had a nice meal and then sat in the sunshine and talked talked talked. It was hard to leave and I miss her all ready!!!

The weather has been nice. Was able to walk today.

Walked to the convenience store near me ror bread and hot dog rolls yesterday. Going to do a workout later this morning as weather may get nasty later.

My sister & I took a walk at the lovely Lake Norman (the only exercise I've gotten all week!). My niece had us over for dinner last night & my nephew (who lives in the opposite direction) is having us over tonight. I fly home tomorrow.

Great pics!! Meeting BCO sisters IRL is the best! Do the “Sculpted Sisters” still meet up or did the pandemic put the kibosh on that?

Busy at work getting ready for end of job #1. Drove to Madison and dropped off my gear today. Had lunch with friends, stopped at Gino’s Italian Deli & brought home some yummy pasta and tiramisu for supper.

Will work until August then end of job #2. My co-worker (who is 30) is already freaking out. She is amazed at how much I know. I told her I’ve been doing this kind of work longer than she’s been alive. Was that unkind?

Looking forward to more free time to get my butt back in the gym more consistently. I am SO out of shape.

m0mmy: Looks like I will be getting your nasty weather on Saturday. We need to rain but not a bad storm.

Ruth: Love that state park. And how wonderful that you have a nice niece and nephew who have cooked dinner for you. Safe travels tomorrow!

Badger: The last time we got together was in New Mexico in 2019. Plans were being made to go to Las Vegas in 2020 but you know that didn't happen. Ugh. Congratulations on finishing up job #1. I'm sure your job #2 co-worker will be picking your brain between now and August.

Met a friend to play Mahjong in the afternoon. Walked this evening.

I remember that trip to New Mexico…I had fantasies even back then of retiring and being able to go on the adventures.

I have a nephew who lives on Lake Norman!

Got to the gym last night and today at lunch, that makes 4x this week.

Which is good as we are going to dinner with friends tonight - 3 couples from church. We take turns choosing where to go every two months or so and then get a new group next year. Not sure how today's couple got this idea but their choice is a place I consider for B'day or Anniversary, entrees are 35+, yikes. I'll have to report back.

    Happy weekend everyone, TT
