Big congratulations Wonderland! My older brother and sister were 15 months apart…adjacent years at school but definitely one older than the other. What fun!

    Nice WWW picture!

I'm just now in DC for work trip Thursday/Friday, back home Sat. DC is still full of July 4th vacationers with the mall full of the "great american state fair" stuff…which actually blocked my normal route to the hotel as I take an underground expressway that crosses below the mall. It was closed off I guess due to potential terror activity???

Only got to the gym one time this week, now I'll be walking and sweating in DC. 🚶‍♂️🌤️

LIFT, a dog walk & Dance2fit. We are heading into heat advisories this weekend, so I got as much yard work done today as I could.

TT: I bet DC was miserable with the heat.

Ruth and M0mmy: Sorry about the heat wave coming your way.

Yesterday I exercised my brain while playing Mah Jong with 3 friends.

The temperature was 85 instead of 95 this evening so I took advantage of it and went for my walk. Not too fast but not too slow, just the right amount of push for the weather. It's supposed to be in the 80s for the next several days so hopefully I can walk more times outside.

It is hot, hot, hot and humid here. I watered my flowers & berries early & did a very short Bruno walk. Most of my exercise came from walking in place while watching the first 45 minutes of the World Cup soccer game (I am sad because I wanted Norway to win!).

Gotaa give my veggie plants on porch more water today before it gets too hot. Going to be 95 but feel over 100

Watered everything early & took the dog for an early walk at the local college where there are plenty of trees.

Back home on Saturday. Got to the gym Sunday night and today/Monday at lunchtime…

Good to get back to the routine. I was so stiff at the beginning of last nights class…it seems pathetic that between Tuesday's class and Sunday's class, no gym time would make me stiff for the first 30 minutes of a 75 minute class…but I guess that is what a lot of sitting in meetings and sitting in the car does for you! Keep moving! TT

Sitting is definitely bad, and what I'll be doing a lot of this week. DH has a medical thing going on that shouldn't be serious; but does require the input of specialists. So we are out-of-town having appointments etc. I did manage to get 10,000 steps.

Just when I thought it would be nice to take my boy for a walk in the state park not far from me, instead of Extreme Heat, we have an air quality alert until Thursday. Its cominh from wildfires burning up in Northern MN.

Stopping by for a quick check in.

Ruth: I hope your dh is being taken care of by the specialist.

Walked last night. The heat returned today so no walking plus I had a zoom meeting tonight.

Yes, he is. He has a procedure scheduled for Friday & hopefully we can head home Saturday. I'll explain more once it's done. More walking around in tunnels today (it is too hot, humid, and smokey to do anything outside!).

Still no walking outside. Day two of smoky air and haze.

Hang in there Ruth, medical uncertainties are difficult for all involved.

The smoke has reached southern Virginia, it is ugly out there. Everyone stay safe on that front.

Got to the gym last night after work and will go today at lunchtime. that makes 5 times this week, Woohoo! TT
