TIME TO CIRCLE THE WAGONS GIRLS

Good morning, all.
Had a rough night...not sure why. I just couldn't get to sleep and then when I did, I couldn't STAY asleep! That is so frustrating, especially when I know I have a tough week coming up and I wanted to be well-rested.
Cheri, saying prayers that your leg will heal soon.
I would love to see the Pinkstock site when it is up and running, so someone please post the particulars, OK?
Thanks for all the B9 wishes. My dermatologist was not especially worried, but she said that because of the breast cancer we would be extra careful checking for skin cancer. I didn't ask for a more detailed explanation, since I was just as happy that she was being super-careful. My biggest problem right now is that one of the areas is on my back right under my bra strap, so I need to keep a band-aid on it, so I have to wake up my poor DH at 5:30 every morning to put a new band-aid on for me!
I had better scoot now and get some work done!
*Hugs*

Good Morning Campers.
Cheri, I wish my hiney was home too. But I can't leave till I table dance with Marsha. Have I mentioned lately thats it stinkin hot here? God meant Florida for the gators and manatees, not humans.
Vicki, happy birthday.
Today I think we are heading to my dads. Have to spend time with the cows and pigs or he'll think we don't love him anymore.
Love you all to bits. Wish I had the time to shout out to everyone. Have a great day.0 -
At the church's marriage marathon, the minister asked Ralph on his 50th wedding anniversary,
to take a few minutes and share some insight into how he managed to stay married to the same woman all these years.
Ralph replied to the audience "Well, I've treated her well, spent money on her,
but mostly I took her traveling on special occasions."
The minister inquired "Trips to where?"
"For our 25th anniversary, I took her to Italy."
The minister then said, "Ralph, you are a terrific example to all husbands.
Please tell the audience what you are planning for your wife on your 50th anniversary?"
Ralph said, "I'm gonna go get her."0 -
Vickie ~ Happy Birthday!! I must've hit a wrong button somewhere along the line last night, too. I wrote a post to several of you and it's not here??! Let's see if I can remember:
Vickie ~ Thanks for the link.
Robin ~ Glad that you're doing good
Nicki ~ Hoping everyone woke up late this Monday morning and you're drive was smooth sailing.
Deb, Gina, Madison's Baby Girl ~ I hope you had a better day, oh and I said a special at prayer for you three at church yesterday.
Iris ~ A belated happy birthday!
All my other special, sweet BC.org sisters ~ You are always included in my prayers. I thank you all for the open door and all of the good thoughts and prayers being sent for my son. You all have something special, and wish you all health and happiness always.
Okay, that was the "jist" of. Hopefully this won't get lost in cyberspace again.0 -
Just a very quick good morning before I hit the road.
Betty, sent you a PM and e-mail. Hope it works out for us later in the week. This is a crazy week from you by the sound of things.
Vicki - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!! Sending warm wishes and hope your day is filled with pleasant surprises, good food and drink AND cool temps. May the year bring much happiness.
Vicki - if you don't have a Myspace account can you see the pictures?? I can't keep up with posting and reading here let alone a Myspace account - how do you gals find the time to do all of that - whew!!!
Cheri, glad to hear the doctor visit is soon. Gina, thinking of you and hoping things are better. I know it must seem like the 27th will never get here to get the expander replaced.
Shirley, good morning. I don't know why but I thought you were already home - I'm loosing it I think. Yes, people come to the mountains of NC to get out of Florida in the summer because it is so hot there. Hot as hades in the rest of the state but the mountains are somewhat cooler and lots cooler to Fla. folks!!!!
Puppy - everything is going to be OK with you and Rocky. Both of you are stronger than you think. Several years ago one of the songs we did in choir ws this : God will make a way, when there seems to be no way. He works in ways we cannot see, He will make a way for me. Keeping you in my prayers and sending big hugs your way.
To ALL my other sisters - hope you have lots of smiles, giggles, hugs, joy in your day. I'll check in at some point when I can get to the computer. I get to babysit my 2 1/2 old granddaughter tonight - gonna love it - will be tired but I'm gonna love it.

Hi everyone,
Took me a long time to catch up so I might miss some things...My friend is having her pet scan today so sent good thoughts :
Odalys, I don't really want to be a desperate housewife hehe..just shop and play with makeup all day
Margaret, John Jay is a good college for Crim Just - I was accepted there but I wanted more forensic science work - I hear a lot about people not liking the work and switching jobs...luckily I've seen autopsies and not puked or passed out
Denise, 4 notes means that I'm getting better at reading this thread - I actually took notes and responded to 4 people. Interview means that I just got a job at the medical examiner's office and I was also called for an interview as a crime scene tech.
Madison, Lina, Gina, Cheri - I send good vibes to you
Vickie, I like your avatar - you're prettier than the doll
Nicki - I love the pics you post!
Hugs to Puppy and everyone else I didn't mention by name...I plan on doubling my note taking in the near future
Love Marisa
As Vickie already saw and liked....
PETER This is how I feel now that you're gone

Well the heat and humidity are rising again .. another great day to go to the beach! Dang I wish I lived by one!
Iris Angel - It was nice to see your smiling face popping up so often! You're so kind to always think of my family. Looking forward to the MooseTracks celebration and if you like whatever drink is your pleasure!
Vickie - You did such a nice thing with the Pinkstock MySpace page that I want to see it work for you. However, Karl is standing by to either help you with that page or is willing to do an entire new site if preferred. PM me if you need him to help in any way!
Jankay - Get some rest girlfriend!
Odalys - I love your pictures .. I want to be that woman lounging in the water being served a drink by a man beside the ocean.
Doris - I had the pleasure of meeting several circle girls on other threads so felt very comfortable when I came here. Thank you for your kind words, I think you chat quite fine!
Susan - double do-do and crummy buttons. I need to adopt those words to use around my children. Much better than biting my tongue and trying to hold in what I really want to say that they shouldn't hear!
Mandy - welcome back, it's good to see you
Sheri - I have to agree with you also about Vickie's doll avatar. Vickie, the doll is gorgeous but the close up was creepy. Maybe another pic that's not so close up would work better. But I love your new avatar.
Susan - hmmm, now you and Denise are keeping secrets? lol
Vickie - Happy Birthday again dear lady! Wait, you got stung by a bee? I thought that was Gina! Or both of you did? I think I missed something!
Nicki - Stay safe driving out there. I'm so glad not to have to deal with road congestion any longer. Will be thinking of you and your sister today and hoping for good news.
Puppy - I'm hoping Rocky get's things worked out. He needs to stop worrying his mom! Hugs to you.
Cheri - I'll be thinking of you today and waiting eagerly to hear what the doc said. Please post as soon as you're able.
Betty - Happy to see you post and getting a break from work. You need some down time!
Marsha - How are things going with you?
Brenda - enjoy your GD tonight! What a fun and exhausting age huh?
Denise - I hope your dog is okay..
Madison - Glad to hear DD is being taken well care of!
MB - mmmmm, my stomach is growling. I'll have one of everything.
Well I know I missed many but I have to run. Going for my second post-op fill today...
Hoping Everyone from A - Z has a great Monday!
Love&Hugs,
Charlene0 -
Good Morning everyone!
I am back to work today so this must be quick!
Nicki - I know how you feel about construction - I have a huge project underway right in front of my house - it started in July and wont' be done until December! We have no access to our garage or driveway! And as an added bonus - we also get the lovely sounds of waking up to bulldozers, drills, etc. No hunky construction men for me to ogle either....hmmph!
Vickie - HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you! I hope you have a wonderful birthday and a super year!
JanKay - thanks for your funny posts - it's so nice to start the day with a smile!
Denise - hope your doggy's okay!
Madison - hope your daughter is feeling better - sounds like a long recovery...hope she turns a corner very soon!
Charlene - did you ever name your new "girls"?
Well, off to work I go!
Have a great day everyone!
Mandy0 -
Mandy - no, I don't really consider them new girls yet. They are just immoveable tender mounds on my chest. Thinking I need to wait until the exchange when I get the actual implants in to be inspired to name them!

Good morning sweet chicas......first of all let me say HAPPY FREAKING BIRTHDAY Vickie and a belated birthday for Iris.......I will never ever dread another birthday as I get older......the older the better........went AWOL over the weekend......I did do a little reading.....we all seem to be going thru many of the same issues at the same time....Vickie I swear both my colar bones and both sides of my ribs hurt.....praying it is just radiation damage...what is concerning me most is an unsual cough I have and now am scedule for another chest x-ray......but Gina I did read your post about Vickie and DebC and others that are having some the same sympthoms (sp) and you made me feel better......plus there are some very new chemo drugs on the market that seem to be having very good results so if I end up with lung mets then at least I may have a fighting chance.......anyway enough of that foolishness....just want to say that this thread and bc.org have been a life saver for me......thank you girls so much.........oh geez brb.......

Ok back......Gina I think I remember that you said you watch "Bridezilla"......my question is why are there so many of the "bridezillas" from Texas???????wth........I swear girls that most Texas women don't act that way....did anyone see the new one last night with the 23 yr old from Denton, Texas that had the implants because she wanted to be double d's.......oh my goodness......what a brat......her "fiance" paid 13,000 for her to have a boob job??????? I don't want to be mean because I have weight issues but I think lipo suction would have been a better use of that money.........she was buying the terra's at Sam Moons which is a store that carry's really bad knock offs of custome jewlery.......is her man insane.......anyway sorry didn't mean to get off topic and I know the show is editated for effects but still geez..........phone brb....

Good morning one and all.
Feeling a lot better today! Crud is just about gone, but ribs are tender again from the coughing. Ugh.
Goodness though, I have a really hard time keeping up with all of the posts on here.
Hard to believe that a week has already gone by since we said our goodbyes at Pinkstock. I was uploading all of the photos yesterday and laughed some and cried some. We have a great pic of the "bonfire" LOL.
Madison, sorry to hear about your daughter - hope she is feeling a lot better soon.
Vicki - happy birthday hon and many happy returns. B.t.w. I like the new avatar better too - you look sooo cute in the Glenda dress.
Cheri - please get that leg looked at! Wishing you the very best.
Jankay- love the jokes hon.
Shirley: will call you today sometime. You know that LindseyFl, Terricarolyn and I want to meet up with you too! Hey where and when are you and Marsha gonna be dancing on the tables? I may just join you LOL!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY VICKI!
Was pretty cool to see Tiger Woods win the PGA here for the first time in Tulsa yesterday, watched it on tv. He was sweating so bad from the heat on Saturday that Sunday's paper showed his pants, looked like he pee'd in them they were so wet! They were just as wet in the back.

Good afternoon everyone. I don't have time to read anything right now. My dr. appt. is in about an hr. I'll come back later and read and post about what the doc said.
I need you all to move my baby into the middle of the circle. She got a call from the dr. and she's a stage III cancer cells from her pap and they want to do a biopsy. Amber is only 24 yrs old and has 2 little boys and a mama that dearly loves her. OMG, girls, I can't do this, i just don't think I can take anymore. Not my baby, i dropped my head and prayed for God to please take me and not my little girl. You guys this is Amber! My only baby. What to do, i want to scream and cry and throw things at this hateful, horrible disease! But I have to be strong for her and the boys. Only on here can I let it out that I am so terrified inside. Stage 3. Ok. I had stage 2 once, and they lazered the cells out and I was fine. Now,, the Lord just isn't going to let this happen after all that i've beem thru, he's not gonna make me watch my daughter be eaten by this monster disease. I cannot do this!!! Does he not understand that I'm at my limit??? I don't want to hear anybody tell me that we're not given any more than we can handle. I hate that. I've got to get in the shower and get to the dr today to have my stitches out and have him look at my leg. I have to be able to walk in case Amber is sick, OMG, not her, not my baby. Somebody with a little more pull with God than I have please make it all go away. Her odds aren't good, her Mother, 2 Aunts, Maternal Grandfather, Uncle and then the list just goes on to cousins...
I have got to go. I need my friends right now for her. I gotta get in the shower I only have 30 min. to be hobbling out the door. S O S
I'll be back in a bit. I'll answer my pm's then too.
cheri0 -
Oh Cheri-
I am sending up prayers. When does she go to the doc for more info and planning?? Waiting just SUCKS!
Big hugs
Deb C0 -
{{{ cheri & Amber}}}} please know you are both in my prayers...
as well as those in need that I missed over the weekend...hugs

Cheri -
i just found this on line....could she have stage3 3 PRE cancerous cells???? Not good, I'm sure, but WAY better than stage 3 cancer....
"Sometimes, cells on the surface of the cervix appear abnormal but not cancerous. Scientists believe that some abnormal changes in cells on the cervix are the first step in a series of slow changes that can lead to cancer later on; in other words, they may be considered precancerous. CDC says cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (or CIN) is the name for a precursor lesion to cervical cancer. The term CIN, along with a number (1 to 3), is used to describe how much of the cervix contains abnormal cells. Abnormal or precancerous cells are also called dysplasia or squamous intraepithelial lesion (SIL). SIL is described as being low-grade (early changes in the size, shape, and number of cells) or high-grade (a large number of precancerous cells). High grade SIL can also be called carcinoma in situ. Cervical cancer, or invasive cervical cancer, is the term used when abnormal cells spread into the cervix or to other tissues or organs."
either way, I know you must be beyond scared...hang in there
Hugs
Deb C0 -
((Cheri)) ((Amber))
Whooaaaa Girl..... No panic allowed. I do know how your heart sinks and aches. I wondered why God let me live through breast cancer and then my son committed suicide. But he is still in control dear friend. First of all, take a deep breath and exhale. Take off your Mama hat for only a moment and try to think clearly. Deb gave you an excellent answer. Used to, Pap Smears were graded as Class 1, 2, or 3. There is some difference now. I am so glad we have some "experts" here who know what they are talking about. Let's just be sure what we're dealing with.
I know you are frightened, as is Amber. Please know that we are all here praying for you and for Amber and her child!
God has His arms around you right now. Just crawl up in his lap with Amber and let him hold you. You can cry, you can be mad, you can hurt. God understands that. He expects you to feel those feelings. He loves you. Just let it out and then let him take care of it. Talk to us when you need to vent, and talk to God. You will continue to be in my prayers. I pray your doctor visit goes well this afternoon. Pam0
