Re: Can we have a forum for "older" people with bc?
We lost another shining light. @kbl Kristine, passed last night. She was so brave to share her hospice journey with us all. She will be missed.
Re: Need help anyone else had anything else come back on their pet scan
Thank you I know it's the right things for the best treatment I'm just frustrated with feeling like a sitting duck. I'm struggling to understand how I can go from being fine one month to possibly two cancers the next month and I'm only 37 it feels very crazy a little unbelievable for my brain I think. I am glad things were resolved with you quickly that's what we all hope for when we have those test done isn't it but the fear it might be so much worse is always there. In reality the NHS have been amazing with me and it hasn't been to long not really it's just my brain saying get on with it now.
Re: BCO In Memoriam thread, Part 2
It is with a very heavy heart that I am reading about Kris' passing. 😢 💔 She had texted me only Tuesday that she was getting morphine on Wednesday. Hopefully, she was not in a lot of pain at the end.
She was one of the bravest ladies I have met. Despite dealing with her own MBC challenges, she was always there for all of us, sharing and caring as long as she could.
My deepest condolences to her family and friends. At the time of her passing, her husband and daughter were with her.
May her memory be for a blessing. 👼 🍎
