Just diagnosed
Hi - I have been looking at various posts on this site all of last week, and found all the posts to be so encouraging and helpful. Earlier today, I was diagnosed with "intermediate to high grade ductal carcinoma in situ with micro calcifications" of the left breast. I ran this by AI, and it sounds like the cancer has not spread, but the cells are growing quickly(?) What are your thoughts? Should I insist on seeing a "surgeon" right away? I ask because none of the ones I want to see are available until 2026 because of the holidays. Do I have time to wait, or just see the "next available" surgeon? Thank you so much.

Thanks for responding to me. I’ll look on Amazon for the triangular forms. I too prefer the stretchy sports bras for the compression.
Thanks again!
