Sometimes your CA 27.29 markers go up as your cancer is dying also referred to as the cells shedding. Try not to worry. Focus on scans. If you feel new pain that does not resolve within 2 weeks, then go to see your doctor right away.
For those at risk for pathological fracture, I was in the same boat. Cancer had almost eaten through my left acetabulum. Radiation killed the cancer and new bone grew in its place. I did my lifetime dose of Xgeva. I’m just now starting Evenity treatment to try to preserve bone strength as the chemo I did really did a number on my spine and osteoporosis.

@rlschaller We net a an old army fort in town. West Texas had military camels a long time ago. Two were here for the weekend. DH has been wanting a camel for years, he was over the moon today.

Tuna, is doing a lot better. He had his vet follow up and she felt he was doing OK. They did find a heart murmur on the follow up but they think it might have beenbrelated to anxiety from the vet visit. My husband took him and he said he was very scared. Tonight he is acting like he wants to play.

My girls celebrated their birthday yesterday. We dont know their actual birthdate as we adopted them when they were 9 weeks old. We did the math and estimated they were early September babies, so we chose Sept. 6 as their birthday. Princess just turned 11 and Grace is now 7

I logged in tonight for the first time in quite a few years. Just wanted to say that I have been in remission for almost 12 years after my IBC diagnosis. And it was not my first breast cancer diagnosis. I was diagnosed with IBC while I was in the middle of treatment for my first diagnosis (IDC/DCIS). (More details in my signature below.) Praise God! Just wanted to offer up some hope to others who have been diagnosed with IBC. Hope it encourages someone who reads this post!

Tbos805, there are other reasons the numbers can rise. That's why they watch the trend over several months. By then scans are due. Some drs don't even test tumor markers. To soon to worry. Yes easier said than done.
