@betrayal Lovely pictures. Reminds me of our Alaskan cruise a few years ago. And thanks for Seattle too. My DB and parents lived in Anacortes and I visited Seattle several times. Thank you for memory lane. I am glad you had a good time. I look forward to your trip through the Panama Canal. That is one cruise I have yet to do but it is on my list although I doubt I will make it.

@sully01 So sorry about the loss of your beloved pup. Pets seem to understand what we go through better than humans many times. I have a cryoablation thread that I started. I update it once my procedure is scheduled and let people know how it goes. No one else on here seems to have had cryoablation based on my inquiries.

wren44. Yes it is always on both sides. My clinic no longer has to refrigerator the shots because the company they use modified the formulation. I find that walking after the shots really helps. Masaging the area can spread the drug to quickly and increase side effects. Same with to much heat after the shots although I do find the seat heater on low very comforting on cold days. I lake to do but stretches of various types the week before the shot and afterward. Seems to help with discomfort. I also like to hydrate extra for a day or two after the shot. Don't worry if your pee stinks. That is normal. Some people get a funny taste in their mouth for a day or two. Both those issue are ussually gone in 2 to 3 days. Remember when getting the shot to keep your weight off the side that is being stuck. Helps relax the butt muscles. I have had very few issues.

Mary, I'm so sorry you had to deal with that. Everyone is so unique and different. My surgeon also said lumpectomy but I refused rads (read about too many side effects and issues) and came in with a picture of a 10 year old boy…I said…"THIS. This is what I want." He finally agreed. I healed with zero issues, no pain meds, blah, blah….but I opted out of reconstruction because I wanted this done and done. I had the initial lumpectomy and there was no more cancer they could find, so he finally relented. It is your body. You get to choose what you want done to it.

hi everyone! I was diagnosed 11/11/15 with invasive micropapillary carcinoma, stage IIIA e+. I'm 33, and currently 29 weeks pregnant. What shitty news to get while you're pregnant (it took us 6 years to get pregnant). Found out today that it's not in the organs, getting the MRI tonight to check the bones...chemo set to start probably soon after. I'm happy to find others that can relate to me. Doctors won't tell me much as far as how successful we are going to be, but it sounds like lots of you are making the best of life and staying strong! Hope to get to know you all

I am still on Truqap. The last scan a week ago showed mixed results and maybe a tiny progression. The scan before that was really good. I have been on half a dose since last August. We are upping the Truqap dose To 320 two times per day to see how I respond now and to try and get more time out of this drug. My D is under control on the half dose.
It seems to still be working but not quite as well - thus the upping the dose.
I have been on it consistently since August so we are approaching the one year mark. 🤞🏻

@irishlove , I am so sorry for you feeling lonely. It is a hard thing to deal with, of course you can talk to us about it, we all feel. I am also sorry about your sister calling you a drama addict. That makes me feel angry for you. You deal with constant pain from the MS and cancer effects, have cancer drugs and many other things. She should try to live a day in your body before dismissing you. I hope this group and any live action group or others in your life are able to listen with dismissing and just hear you.
I have my CT scan this afternoon which is fine, just have to finish a meal round 1030 am or 11am latest.
Got laundry on the go, flipped my couch cushion, feels so good after a good flip. Beyond that, not too sure what I want to eat. Easiest way to go would be some KD noodles, beans and an egg. I did not care for the egg I add to boiling water to heat up so thinking I will chop a microwaved egg and cheese and heat a pan with some precooked KD noodles, not the whole box, just part. Option two is to boil up the ramen, still add eggs and cheese and fry up everything. Need to decide soon though. Add some chipotle beans, I just realized which is dumb, I have chipotle may that could be combined with a bowl of beans. Need to add sour cream as it is not mild chipotle. The barbecue beans are not super appealing so may just take whatever I want and turn them into a chipotle bean.
Got some laundry and the dryer going, washer that had the stank smell was wiped down on the inside and lint filters emptied, realized they could be washed out in the smallest washers as it is gentle just to keep them cleaner. I would put them in a mesh bag to protect them. Dryer is going as well. Love the laundry.
Recycle put out is today, got a couple of boxes that need to go from stuff I ordered this week like the cat food etc. That is no problem to get rid of, got a couple of garbage bags to triple bag and add to my bin out back.
Meal has changed, a meat pie, regular size, heat up 6 mins. Will just add some beans to the mix, got my carb, protein and fat from any toppings added. Looking at some caesar, garlic mayo and have the chipotle from the beans. I only a tiny bit if blending different flavours that are liquid.

Just wondering if some sessions with a therapist might help? I have a Zoom session every other week (could have it more frequently, but this seems to work for now). It is just "talk therapy", no medication prescribed, as she is a licensed social worker and therapist, not a doctor. Took a while to find the right "fit" , but it was worth the effort. I can vent to her and say things that I would not say to anyone else at this point and I find it helpful to get things out in the open. I am on traditional Medicare and the sessions are fully covered.

Hi Mary9999! I hope you eventually get the silhouette you want; but if you decide to stay flat, it's not the worst option. I've been comfortably single-breasted for over 6 years now. I went straight to aesthetic flat closure, and my surgeon did a great job. If I ever decide to get any more work done, it will probably be to have the other side flat as well. But I've got no real reason to go that route yet.

Hi and good morning to all, it’s been awhile and catching up on your posts. Hugs to everyone this morning as I get ready for work. All is well in its own way, Sun is shining and the breeze is cool. Family life and friendships are complicated and the living with constant change in MBC life adds to the load, but so lovely there is this forum for connection and affirmation. Squeezing into pocket duty for everyone as well. ❤️
