For those who are experiencing symptoms or received concerning test results, but haven't been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Hi there. I'm high risk because of a strong family history (no known genetic mutations) and had been alternating yearly MRIs and Mammos. I was a year behind on my MRI and had one yesterday that came back with asymmetric non masslike enhancement in one breast. (Ironically NOT my troublesome one that had been biopsied…
Forgive the longer post. I'll try to be as concise as possible. To preface, I am non-lactating due to having a hysterectomy in 2019. I am 36 years old. Back in 2022, I had an excisional biopsy for a fibroadenoma in my left breast. About one month later, I developed a seroma and had it drained. Fast forward to 2024, I…
Hi All, i need some advice to help me stop from spiralling out of control. Thanks in advance for your guidance. I am 40 years old. My screening mammogram identified a focal asynmetry (BI RADS 0) in my left breast. The followup diagnostic mammogram said focal architectural distortion 12 o clock centrally 5 cm from the…
This will be my fourth post about what is becoming a never ending nightmare waiting game for a tests and diagnosis. A quickie summary: I had a screening breast MRI (strong family history of breast and ovarian cancer and very dense breasts) on Sept 14th last year that showed a non-palpable BIRADS 5 spiculated nodule in the…
I have a spot that appeared in my right breast a few days ago, it is smaller than a pencil eraser. I went straight into panic mode bc that is what I do. I literally do not have orange peel look, red/hot/tenderness, nipple is fine, no swelling. Looking for advice and see if this looks concerning. Edited by Mods to remove…
After a 6 week wait, my mri guided biopsy for two bi-rad4 suspicious masses is tomorrow morning. I strangely feel clamer now than I have in the past 6 weeks. The limbo ends tomorrow- whatever they find. Please send me all the good vibes and any advice on how long your MRI biospy took, if you were sore after, how long the…
I started HRT at the beginning of December. I have an Estradiol patch and which I change every 4 days abd 200mg Utrogestan daily. I went for a mammogram and the results were “Small apparent non-specific density” I have to go back for more imaging and potentially a biopsy. Should I stop the HRT?
Hi, I have an upcoming stereotactic core needle biopsy done with tomosynthesis and I don't know if it will be upright or lying down. Very anxious about this upcoming procedure. Would like to hear people's experiences with both. Thanks!
Hello, I went in for a routine mammogram (my 10th one) and for the first time I had an abnormal mammogram, and a small mass was found that was given the BIRADS 4 rating. I am now waiting for a stereotactic core needle biopsy. I learned about the titanium marker that will be put in during the biopsy and after talking to my…
