Donna can you send him to my house? I have one bathroom and right now it has a tolet and tub the walls and sink are gone and the light fixture has to stay on so I can have the computer on in the other room!
It's going to take me all summer to get it finished!

MB I'll take the blue koolaide, actually I'm drinking a blue gatorade right now!

Mom and Dad are feeling better but still have the wiring all mixed up!
MIL is adjusting to the assisted Living and I still have to pack out her old place in 3 weekends! YIKES! and clean it too!
Well I' better get on and try to sleep!
    Hugs to all and CHEERS!

Hey sistas~ Thanks for the Happy Birthday wishes! Had to spend the day in OK City at a BORING meeting, but that's okay, 'cause last night BF took me out for great food and wine and today we're going shopping! Food, wine & shopping - doesn't get any better than that!

    I can't believe I'm 45! Good grief - what's next, 50? Hope so

Thanks again, and I hope everyone has a great day & upcoming weekend!

    Hugs & Cheers,
    Donna

Junie- You are a crack up, with the big _O. Hope it was fun. Luckily, I have met you, know you somewhat and if your big _0 is te same as a big_O, I am laffin too! You are the best. If you are old enuf to be mom to a 45 yo, I think not, you can be my foster mom, since I have none.
Love to you all, time for bed. I have to hit the Komen RFTC registration tomorrow am, I ordered a shirt that is miles too big, I am glad it is not the other way around!

    Cheers drinkin' buds!

It's been a long week but I'm off tomorrow - yea! My dad had a mild heart attack (and angioplasty surgery) Wednesday and while I saw him last Sunday and will again next Sunday (Father's Day) I'm going to visit him this Sunday as I think it will make him feel better. Thankfully he's in excellent physical shape otherwise it could have been worse.....

Still no new job for me but I've had more normal hours lately (without my asking for them) which has helped my mental well-being!

Met a new guy tonight who I plan on seeing again. He saw my pink ribbon tattoo and mentioned that his mom is a 6-year survivor (!) and that he does a walk every year. He definitely 'won' points for that!

I'll post a pick of Miss Avery this week. I hope everyone is well. Donna, did you survive your birthday? I have one coming up soon and I'm older than you are!!!

Yay Janis- your user name gives it away... 6/27! Woo Hoo, what a great year it has been for you.
Did I tell you guys my experience with an on-line date? Here it is, I had a date planned, wasn't too excited about it, Yahoo said we were a "poor match" finally a day or two before the date, he asked my dreaded question, my last name! If you google my last name, the first thing that comes is a big bald pic of me which says, christine K... is a breast cancer survivor from St.Louis. It is from the Lifetime TV network, Every guy I have started chatting with, told them either my email or last name - is soon to vanish! This last one cancelled by email at 2:40am the night before, unless he had a hot babe next to him, there is no other excuse. He said "something came up" Maybe my bald head on his computer screen, LOL! He is not meant to handle someone as special as me!
Janis- the on-line dating thing isn't so good for me, I need to meet them in person, before they can research my past.
Donna- what did you buy on your shopping spree?
Waiting to see some Avery pics, Janis.
    Hugs-
Junie, have an ML of each kind (miller lite, marlboror light) for me!

Christine--having one of each ML in your honor right now!!! How funny--never thought to connect my ML cigs to my ML beer! Praying for one more ML to add to my name--Mother Lode (ML)--when we hit the powerball lottery! LOL!!!

Had lots to post--but be back later--hubby just came in to chase me off and shut down--big storms in area--I'm getting sick from all the rain and storms! Donna--did you send this my way??????
    later....love, junie

Robin - FANTASTIC news!! WooHoo! You've been through it girl and deserve some good news! And new boobies to boot

Cheryl - glad to see you pop in. How are you doing?

Janis - sorry to hear about your dad. Damn heart attacks. Good that he's in good shape otherwise - hopefully that will contribute to a speedy recovery.

Christine - you are TOO funny, girl! I'm gonna "google" you.
The shopping spree Thurs was one of the funnest days ever! I kept picking out stuff and he kept telling me to pick out more. He stupidly asked, "which do you think will wear out first - you or my VISA card"? Duh....
The highlight was a gorgeous Wittnauer watch. I've never had a "good" watch before.

Junie - I'm sick of the rain and storms too, and we're under a tornado watch AGAIN this afternoon.

Haven't been posting much lately, as it seems I'm either not home, or if I am home, I'm slaving in the yard. Thank God I can get some posting in from the office

    Take care & Cheers sistas,
    Donna

    Janis, How is Dad doing?

Hi Donna, is it time to go to Pinkstock yet???
    I can hardly wait!

I'm really busy and just don't have time for all the side effects from the chemo, my counts are really low! I start nuepogen tomorrow and it looks like I have a kidney stone again, damn it! Also my coumadin levels are out of control. working on getting that back into the right range.

Could rally use a drink right about now.

Got power back to the computer and my folks will be leaving on Monday so I should be able to get back on more often after that.

    take care
    hugs & Prayers

    (((Cheryl)))

Take care of yourself, okay? When you're all better you can drink all you want (well, if your doc says so anyway!).
In the mean time can you get any good drugs???

My dad is okay. He looked good last Sunday and was crazy enought to work on Monday! (I take after him as I worked all through chemo, rads and had all my surgeries done on my days off!) I bought a life jacket for Avery yesterday so that we can all go out on the boat this Sunday!

And, neupogen isn't a bad thing, but it can cause bone pain so get your meds ready! I hope you feel better soon...

    Hi all,

I just found this thread - what a great thread! Although me and my bottle of champagne seem to be the only things stumbling around tonight.

Anyway, just wanted to say hi and yahoo Robin! I've read some of your earlier posts on other threads and that's great news!! I'll drink to that. . .

    Cathy.

Welcome Cathy! Sometimes here we have a big party and sometimes we have solo pity parties but all are always welcome and we don't judge!

Me, I'm going out tonight with a nice (younger) man who after meeting me last week said a few days later that he was having "Janis withdrawal" so I'm really looking forward to seeing him again.

Miss Avery has her two bottom teeth coming in so I guess she's moving from infant/baby to soon-to-be-toddler! Yikes!

I PROMISE pics soon - as soon as I load the picture CD onto the computer!

    Cheers!

Hey Jaybird, thanks for the warm welcome. Just like a neighbourhood pub around here, eh? That's Canadian for 'feels like home'!

Hope you had a fun evening with the younger man and that Avery's teeth aren't giving her (and you) too much grief.

    Cathy.

    Welcome Cathy!

Thanks Janis, I found some Absolute at MIL's when cleaning and was sorely tempted. But alas I'm trying to be a good girl.
This round of chemo is trying to kick my butt but I refuse to give into it.
Atarted the hair loss tonight! Tub was absolutly full of hair! surprised me! but I'm ok with it. Guess it means the chemo is starting to do it's job!

got to get some rest have another early morning at the center. I was there 7 times in the last week! I got today off! yep that means I was there twice one day! Hope this next week I get at least a couple days off from there but so far I kknow I will be there at least 5 days!

Off to bed with this ol girl!
    Night all!
    Cheers!
