    You want to talk about paranoia, I can't even spell it let alone have it, but I did notice this post from our newbie Sonja.

    "Holy crap - just went to see what the 'debate it' board was all about - scary $$hit happening there! (I was lurkin' in the background, UNDERCOVER!!lol) I love my American neighbours - have family in New York and we get along just fine! When we get together it's like the United Nations - we have to speak English, French and Italian just to have a conversation! I love going there and look forward to the kind faces and small talk - UNLIKE here - the meaner the look, the better!

    The first thing I noticed, none of the Canucks welcomed her. So they were being very coy and I got suspicious. Then she mentioned lurking and liking NEW YORKERS!?! That's when I knew the truth. Am I surprised that she says she's good at undercover work? Not at all. Taking notes...See it was all there for me to know that its skirmish on ladies. We can't delay!

    Yes, I did. I welcomed Sonja right after her first post on the 9th of June ... as a matter of fact, I brought her here from another board ... those are my "infiltration tactics"!!

    i never saw that thread..........i'll have to be more thorough..........i'm one of those easy goin canucks, i don't get into that whole divide thing.........i speak conversational french, italian and spanish and grasp macedonian and ukranian..........welcome sonja, from a fellow canuck.......i live in the boonies in ontario.........we're all pretty cool! lol!

    You Canadian girls here are my first Canuck friends since I was 12. I had a pen pal from Kitchener, Ont. Oh, I just remembered I had a crush on one of the hockey players my brothers teamed played in Canada. Glad to be writing to the other side of the border again. I love the good ol USA, but will not take sides-Peace!

    Just in...I see we're deciding on color scheme? Hmmm...I like the fallish red color that was suggested. I wear pink, but it's gotta be a dark shade...not too light. Just doesn't go with my hair these days. lol

    Never vacuumed a dog before...I hear windex can be dangerous - and Janis, did you start without me? Where's the "designing diva"? MIA? I take it Janis is pouring, so what's on the menuuuuuu?

    Rosemary, can I borrow one of your pails? Been a long day and a glass just won't cut it! LOL

    MEMORIAL WEEKEND

    Went away to the beach on Friday, had a couple of beers, life is good

    Saturday, 'beach bum' all the way
    ..went to a party, didn't drink..
    met up with an old friend, and had vodka and OJ

    sat by the water...with my two girlfriends....

    my two girlfriends went to bed, I refreshed my drink and went back to the waters edge; kept an eye on my girlfriends husband while he went snorkeling at night

    ....LONG STORY, eh....
    (it gets better)

    He caught a fish, threw it at my feet..I named him OSCAR...and daylight came...the sun was hot, and I was tired of watching OSCAR and not knowing if my girlfriends husband was dead under the water...I SWEAR!

    So, I picked OSCAR up by his tail and tried to walk back to the beach house....I fell down...

    I was drunk ! Crap ! Skinned my knee, wanted to get up the stairs to the beach house, but i couldn't leave OSCAR alone!!!!

    Finally made it up the stairs....

    oh, left OSCAR at the entrance...by the shower

    WE ATE HIM THE NEXT DAY

    Okay....about the fine, young hockey players...I'm with Janis on this one! I like 'em young & fine. teehee!

    My hubby is 7 yrs my junior...must...be...trainable!!! He's done well under my supervision. Got him bout like I want him. If he minds well, I may not have to trade him in. LOL!

    You Canadians do know how to "grow 'em" though.

    Where's everyone? I'm just catching up on my chemobrained misreads...

    lol............holy crow are we having some crazy crazy weather here tonight.......so much for first day of summer here, we had to winch the boat out of the well and the storm is so bad the baby bunnies and chipmunks are all congregated under the deck............my kid had a great birthday in the dark at the marina though, she loved every minute of it (therefore, so did i!)........g'night girls..........my battery is dieing!

    Yup, he made it up awhile after me (with OSCAR in his hands)

    Actually, I thought I wouldn't be able to 'eat him' (ha!)

    ...but, yeah....breakfast was waiting for us, then we had OSCAR for dinner....YUM!

    ....i'm getting drunk now, when I drink.....i used to get tipsy and stop, and enjoy....now, since that weekend, i'm watching what i drink...and trying to see where the difference is...

    jummm...maybe it's the Effexor for the HOT FLASHES I get from the friggin' Arimidex....due to this crappy cancer!

    I am sooo glad I aren't keeping alcohol at home...can't sleep!

    Thanks for the Welcome Ladies! Yes, I was recruited by Sherry from another board! (When I'm with my friends I actually call her my MENTOR!!) LOL.... I must admit that this is where I come to most of the time for a good laugh! (We don't have to worry about spelling on this board Right??) I've got a bad case of chemo brain lately and now insomnia and nothing to take for it!

    Well, I'm going to try a nightcap - see if that works, need sweet dreams - if not, will be hitting up this board again later!
