Good Morning, Loungettes! Happy Twofer Tuesday! The Hopsice pwirk saga remains unresolved, a patient died early Monday ayem, the family requested "his nurse" rather than the on call nurse, so I started out running off to do that visit at quarter after 7, then had a full day of visits and drove 152 miles, not getting back to the office till after hours. So we wait and see what happens on Wednesday. I figure if I were going to be fired I'd have been hauled into the office by now. Getting warm enough to be able to take Sadie with me on work days now. I know she'll like riding around and seeing lots of the world. Gotta get the back seat of the car cleaned out so there's room for her, though.
Goldie--Sadie is OK with baths, once I get her into the bathroom and into the tub. She sort of stands there looking at me like she's being terribly abused through the whole thing. It's easier in the summer when I can fill a wading pool for her and she'll jump right in and splash around and generally make a mess. I can rub a bit of doggy shampoo on and then let her go, and refill the pool a couple of times until she's rinsed off. Sadie is really good about going to her crate until the mud on her feet dries, then she comes out and I can vacuum it off or rub it off with an old rag. I am so glad to hear that Zues has a new home and the move wen well for him and everyone else. I swear animals like that know when something is going on, and he may feel more secure now with aregular caregiver. The middle of the night and early morning phone calls from your Mom are hard. The facility will keep her in therapy as long as possible as they will get paid more per day while she is at that level. She'll probably settle down when that phase is over and they aren't getting her up early for therapy that she probably doesn't want to do. Hang in there, this is a hard thing to go through.
Jazzy--Hooray for very warm weather while visiting your sister, and Here's to a wonderful 58th year!
Cammy--I don't know how admirable it is to get fed up with being treated disrespectfully. But I am proud about taking control of my work life as well as my personal life!

Re Tamiflu (generic name oseltamvir): make sure you have it on hand before you get the flu. Get a prescription and have it filled. When the flu hits, it's not like you think you may be coming down with something--you'll know. Not a gradual scratchy throat, runny nose, or cough. It will come on suddenly (like, within an hour) and hit you like a sledgehammer: nausea, headache, cold sweat followed by chills & fever, joint &/or muscle aches. As soon as you know you have it (or have a doctor give a nasal swab that confirms it), take your first pill. That's because usually by the time it hits full-blast, you will not feel like getting to the doctor (unless someone takes you there), much less going to the pharmacy, Each blister-pack has 10 pills or caps--2 per day for 5 days. Taking it within the first hour of symptoms can knock it out within a day. Within the first 2-3 hrs., as Gordy did, can shorten the course of the disease to about 2-3 days. (He didn't have the fever yet, and because he took a pill from the family "stash" before I even filled the script he got from the Immediate Care clinic, he never did get a fever and only mild muscle aches & fatigue for a day or so). By Friday night (last two pills) he was fine. Of course, once you start, finish the pack.

Happy Belated Birthday, Jazzy! Also loved the sunset pic - absolutely stunning.
NM - We have watched all the Call the Midwife seasons. DH's mom delivered all 9 of children at home (DH is from UK), attended by a midwife. Even if you go to hospital, midwives do most of the work. They were much more useful than Docs (DD born in London). A midwife also made daily house calls after I left hospital to make sure all ok with us both. This is one thing the National Health Service sure does right.

NM and CeliaC- I love Call the Midwife. I have missed a number of seasons, but do think the show is wonderful and caught the start to the newest season this past Sunday.
Been raining (and hailing) here all day today. Skies should be clear for my trip tomorrow. Packed and ready to go
This is where we will be on Friday. Hot springs here we come......

Jazzy- where are you off to? It looks amazing, sure beats the snow drifts outside my windows ...Enjoy your adventures!

Good Morning, Loungettes! Well, the whole thing at work seems to have fizzled out. Had an e-mail notice that my annual eval was ready to acknowledge and file yesterday, so I did it. The boss's eval was "consistently meets standards and expectations".I doubt he's even read my self eval comments. We'll see if he says anything today. I had a lovely time at the Eastern Maine Wine Lovers get together last night. Ladies night, so a ticket for a drawing for a nice purse for each glass, 4 for a bottle. I got a bottle of prosecco, half of it still in the fridge to finish up tonight. Couldn't decide between two appetizers, so got both instead of an entrée.Bacon wrapped scallops and crab au gratin with fried pita chips. Very yummy, and lots of fun, too. Sadie was not impressed that I didn't take her.She wouldn't come under the covers at bedtime last night, plunked herself down on top of the comforter and would not move when I tried to slide some of it out from under her! Fortunately, I have a king size comforter on a full size bed, so I still had enough to cover me. But she was NOT moving. And didn't move, all night long!
Chi--Tamiflu is marvelous stuff. If you have a family stash and someone in the family gets the flu, the rest of the family can start a course of it to prevent getting sick with the flu. Did you see the CDC report that a second wave of flu is happening? This one is the Influenza B, different from the A strain that was circulating earlier and Is hardest on young children. This year's vaccine was 42% effective against the B strain now circulating. So make sure you call you doc and get your Tamiflu stash replenished!
Celia--I got hooked on Call the Midwife while I was teaching at a local university. I was working with several Midwives who all loved the show. According to them the entire approach to childbirth is different there, with care run by Midwives and doctors only getting involved in cases where there are major problems. "Every woman gets a Midwife, and some get a Doctor, too" is a saying they have. The NHS really does seem to have that part of health care well sorted out.
Jazzy--I binged the entire Call the Midwife series on Netflix a couple months ago, from season 1 to the end of last season, including the Christmas specials. It was amazing to watch that way. I think I cried every episode!Oh, how beautiful the hot springs! Are there different temperatures in different parts of the pool?

Cami, when is Leslie's surgery. Altho she is always in my thoughts and prayers, as well as everyone here, but want to wish her even more blessings during that time. We have not told mom yet that we found a home for Zues, but soon. I thought it would be nice for her to see him too, but after talking to my brother, we thought perhaps that would not be a good idea.
NM, not sure how the therapists get paid, but mom has not been out of rehab long enough for Medicaid to cover it again. They said they were going to waive it, yet again. So, not sure if they get paid more or not? So funny how Sadie gets miffed at you, albeit it not lasting long. Interesting DOTD.
Sandy, good info on the Tami Flu. Glad Gordy caught it right away.
Celia, how interesting that DH's and siblings were all delivered at home.
Jazzy, can you bring that hot spring back to the lounge with you?
Mom has had a few good days. Talking about that being her new home and all. Still lots of back pain, arthur and herniated discs, and now saying they told her that her knee is fractured. This has not been confirmed. Yesterday she even polished her toenails! And my brother went and picked up her cousin, who just lost her DH, and took her to visit my mom. I did labs yesterday, 2 markers are up, and one is down, so not sure what my onc will want to do. I will call today and ask. Appt. with him is April 5th.

Good Morning, Loungettes! I've worked 2 days so far this week and already have a bit over 25 hours in, and 298 miles driven. That's a bit over $100 just in mileage. Friday looks to be another 12+ hours/150 mile day. So glad it will be the last! I have been mentally composing a reminder e-mail most of the morning.I've composed several snarky and snide e-mails, had some fun with that, and now am working on more professional and businesslike ones. It'll probably take me all day to get the final wording down, but that's ok. It will be in writing that I am no longer case managing ANY patients after 5 pm on Friday. That is going to be such a huge relief. And Sadie will be happy not to have me gone so long 3 days a week.
Goldie-Medicaid usually works prettymuch the same way as Medicare, but pays at a lower rate. Glad your Mom is having some good days and having some company. I expect she'll settle in pretty well after a couple of weeks. That's a pretty mixed result with the tumor markers. Hope your MO can shed some light on the reason for it.

Lively Happy Feet here!
NM, would love to see some of your snarky emails! I'm thinking you did that just for yourself, and won't really send them. Sort of like a therapy soap box for you!
Well, I was supposed to get my markers before my appt., about 10 days or so, in case they needed to get me approved for scans, so I can do them while in Phoenix and then see the onc. Well, he is on vacation! So I ordered another batch of FU pills and will see what he says when I get there. I still feel as good as I have been other than SE's

NM - I would be worried that I sent the wrong e-mail. Or would that be one of those Freudian Slips?? lol
Adventurous Wiggle Nose signing off...
So Happy Its Thursday!

Good Morning, Loungettes! Happy TGIF Day! Raining here, has been since last night sometime. The snow is really melting off now, there is actually grass to be seen in the yard! Sadie found a little mud patch yesterday, so I've had muddy paw prints on the kitchen floor. There is hope for spring after all!
Goldie--the snarky e-mails were all mental. The final e-mail was only 3 sentences:
"Earlier this month I offered to case manage the Xxxxx patients to facilitate new staff orientation. I want to remind you that I offered to do this until the end of March and Friday March 30th is the last working day of March. As of 5 pm March 30th I will no longer be case managing the Xxxxx patients. Nor will I be case managing the facilities and home patients that ware assigned to me without my knowledge or agreement and did not know about for over a week."
I know the very last clause is a touch snarky, but I am PISSED, still, and the statement is simple truth, so they can all just cope. And believe me, the mental e-mail I composed were WAY snarkier and some were downright rude! But they were fun to think about for a bit. How dare your MO go on vacation! How just inconsiderate of him! Glad you are still feeling good.
Misty--I worry about sending the wrong e-mail, too, so the really bad ones never get written down, they just live in my head.

Good Morning, Loungettes!Happy Easter Eve! The snow is really melting off fast now, and the sun feels so warm during the days, it feels like spring may actually be fighting it's way through! Time for me and Sadie to start getting out for walks again!

Wowsa, I don't think I've ever seen it so quiet up in here.
NM, you will have to let us know the response you get from your email. They so use you! We are having super warm weather, but HOT to me. was 52 out this morning when I got up.
Going to a neighbors, well not really a neighbor, they are about 8 miles away, for a pot luck Easter Dinner. I asked her what I could make, I got potato salad. I asked for how many. She said about 20-25. I said holy cow girl! She asked me if I thought that was too many. I told her "Nooooooooo, the more friends you have the more blessed you are!
Happy Easter everyone.

Good Morning, Loungettes! Happy Easter! Windy and cloudy here this ayem, with the chance of rain. Lots of snow has melted off, and Sadie has a nice big mud puddle in her yard to play in. I can't wait until she finds it! A true sign that spring is coming!
Cute, Teka!
Goldie--the only response I've gotten so far is a "thank you" reply from one of the Clinical Managers. All the patients that have been listed on my schedule have been moved off. Clinical Manager #1 is now listed as Case Manager instead of me for all the patients. Looks like the message got through. Each week when I send the e-mail with my availability for the upcoming week I am being very specific about what I will do. Got the two word "thank you" reply from CM #1 to that e-mail, too. I guess time will tell. Got a teaching class coming up in a couple of weeks, need to shift my attention to prepping for that class. Time will tell how it works out.Love that the neighbor is having so many people in for Easter Dinner! It is true, the more friends, the more blessings one has!
LOL at the pics, especially the last one!

Hoppy Easter <as u can see> from Cuddly Carrot top.
Hope everyone has a decent day better yet a great day.
Oh Lori I don't blame u for not telling ur mom about Zeus yet, she really dosn't have to know what's going on, hopefully she gets better and can reroute her thinking in her new place. I don't understand about ur counts, but just one is off, is that better. I sure pray it is. Oh they haven't scheduled her surgery yet, I think they would like to try and get this under better control, IDK, but rads started this week and I probably already told all of u this, don't member so I won't go back into this mess.
Kim I had to share ur Sadie story with my kids, it cracked me up, her antics seem human to me but actually nicer than a lot. Good thing u don't put anything in writing until u really know what to say, it's best that way. And ur DOTD are fantastic, oh how I wish I could really drink without getting sick all the time. I was talking to my cousin yesterday and we both said we should start drinking again, we enjoyed it so much before.
Jazzy is hopefully having a relaxing time.
Celia how are u doing???
It's been so quiet in here the last few days, I guess it's the weekend holiday maybe, cuz I hope it's nothing going coceyed for anyone <I use that word every chance I get, even with work and the ballcock in the toilet> When they call about their toilet I work that word in every time. When I have to explain it, they really didn't know that's a real name of it. I end up saying something like oh I never thought of that. Yea right.
I'm planning on going to Dan's house today, hope I get there. My bleeding has stopped so I'm not concerned about that anymore. But this house is how we feel from hour to hour LOL
HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY EVERYONE.

Good Morning Ladies.
Jazzy just looking at the pics. is relaxing, I hope u and ur sister had some good time together and her partner is doing better U must be home by now.
Sandy I totally forgot to ask u about the <I think it's called this> Theraflu, what u were talking about Is that from a script??? I thought that was OTC stuff, is this something new or did I miss this whole process. Leslie must be back now so Gordy has to feel better.
DARA, DARA DARA I hope ur doing well.
Kim u must be in a hurry this morning.
I did go to Dan's house yesterday and as usual it was great but I didn't like any of the food, except potatoes. LOL Kat's dad made a leg of lamb, <just don't like meat much, but that is never on my list to eat, but nothing else tasted good to me, even the salad had a bitter taste, it could be me tho. But people were fun and my cousin Nicky came who is one of my favs too , he's just so funny so all in all we had a good time. I brought Sam a little basket and told him the Easter bunny must hear me talk about him so he left something at my house, he fell for it.AHA I can still fool a 3 yr. old, my charm has returned. By next year he'll out smart me for sure.
OK I have to open for work now, but I'd like to go back t sleep.

NM, so glad you are standing up for yourself re hospice. No more of them taking advantage of your services. Sadie agrees! Cute eggs, eh?
Cami, you and your "cock" words, I love it. ReCOCKulous, COCKeyed, BallCOCK. You are a hoot and I miss you when you aren't here. I hope you were able to get to Dans. And what is this "bleeding has stopped"? What bleeding?
Beautiful pictures Jazzy, looks like you had a great time. Welcome home!

Hi ladies- hope you all had a nice weekend celebrating or just relaxing. April is suddenly here!
I got back last night much easier than on the trip out. Both flight segments on Wed we landed either a bit early or on time and there were no gates! Nothing like tarmac time, but I finally got there. All the airports were mobbed, but with holidays and spring break for many last week, lots of folks on the road. Yesterday was quiet and like to travel on holidays just for that reason. We had enough time to enjoy some brunch at the house together before I needed to head to the airport.
The visit went well overall, but can see that my sis and her partner have been very stressed. Been going on for awhile with elder care and also just a lot of other things. But we kept things low key and created some new memories at the spa. We had a great time there and I had a mud treatment where you carefully slip in to a pit of peat mud to bake and then wash it off and get an herbal pultice massage to exfoliate. I have done something similar with the mud at Calistoga in CA, but the second part was perfect. Skin as soft as a baby's butt! We had a great lunch there, lots of great pools and cool old CA setting. We learned the place along with being an old Hollywood hang out also used to be a brothel back in the Al Capone days.
The rest of the time was visiting at the the house, playing with the pets, reading, enjoying the hot tub there, some walks, swimming at the clubhouse and a wee bit of shopping in downtown.
Back to life, back to reality. It was a get away, and now I am getting caught up here at home today on many fronts
Goldie- I saw your pics from yesterday on FB and it looks like you had a nice holiday with friends! I like them man bunn eggs you posted above too.....
Cami- I like that you went to Dan's and ate something, although I laughed that the only food you liked was the potatoes. I am super picky about my food these days. Did Leslie get her implant removed? Is she better?
NM- did you and Sadie just hang out and enjoy the day on your own or see mom and Dick? Are they doing okay? I like that you are doing more teaching work. I think the hospice people are just going to be a continued PITA......
Here is a photo from our happy hour one afternoon. I picked up this delish bottle of Rodney Strong pinot noir rose during my visit. Those CA grocery stores are chock full of good wines!

Sounds like a fantastic time, Jazzy!
Cami, what Gordy took was "Tamiflu," the generic version "oseltamvir." It is prescription-only and fairly pricey. It helps the immune system kill flu viruses quickly. "Theraflu" is the brand name for an OTC combo of Tylenol, a weak decongestant, cough suppressant and generic Benadryl. It is meant to be mixed with water and drunk. It comes in either orange flavor to drink cold, or chicken-soup flavor to drink hot. All it does is help relieve symptoms (fever, stuffy & runny nose, coughing, and aches) but has no effect on the immune system or on the viruses themselves. All it kills is your budget.
Tamiflu, if taken within a couple of hours (one day at most) of onset can get rid of flu with 2-3 days (sometimes sooner). It works only on flu, not colds or bacterial infections. "Theraflu" cannot shorten the duration of the flu, but it can make you feel slightly less miserable (mostly from the Benadryl making you sleepy). And if you have high blood pressure, you shouldn't take it because its decongestant can raise your blood pressure and increase the risk of stroke. (A friend of mine, at only 36, suffered a stroke by taking a cold remedy containing phenylephrine after having forgotten she'd also taken Sudafed--and she had never tested her blood pressure).
Tamiflu (branded or generic) is the one you should have on hand during flu season, whether or not you were vaccinated. "Theraflu," OTOH, is much more expensive and less effective than a can (even a quart carton) of real chicken broth, a couple of generic Tylenol, and some store-brand cough suppressant, decongestant, and antihistamine. That way, you can treat only the symptoms you actually have and not inadvertently double the dose of something you're already taking.
Happy Passover & Easter! Yesterday we (14 of us) had brunch in the Signature Room atop the John Hancock Tower (excuse me, "875 N. Michigan, its address, because Hancock sold it). The restaurant actually gave everyone a free mimosa (mostly champagne) toast. We got another bottle of its house bubbly. Tonight, with my leftovers from Thurs. night, I had a couple oz. of Hahn Pinot Noir.

Good Morning, Loungettes!Happy Twofer Tuesday! Guess what happened to me yesterday? Just as I was leaving for work at Hospice I got a text that the Clinical Manager had looked at the schedule and they don't need me this week, but let her know what days I am available next week. Fortunately, I hadn't yet left the driveway (was in the car, had pulled out of the garage) when the message came in. Part of me is not surprised, several nurses had only 1 or 2 visits some days last week. Part of me wonders if this is retaliation for not letting myself be walked on and putting that in writing. Part of me is worried about the care some of the patients are going to get. Part of me is chanting "Not my circus, not my monkeys." Ah, well, would have like the sleep in this ayem but forgot to change one of the alarms. Need to get out and run errands before the next snowstorm blows in tonight anyway. Going to take Sadie, she's been a good girl and needs a nice ride.
OK, I eaves dropped on the Hospice morning call this morning. Everyone's got 5 or 6 visits, which is normal, a few admissions in the pipeline but only 2 maybes for today, which is low, Office Director out of the office today (probably at the other nearby office that doesn't currently have a Director), not a lot going on. The other per diem nurse isn't working today. Sounds like they might moving in to the summer slump time when the census tends to run a bit lower.
Cammy--Wasn't in a hurry so much yesterday as there just wasn't much going on. Glad you had a good time at Dan's, sorry the food doesn't taste right. Sometimes that can be caused by medication. I bet little Sam had a ball with the surprise Easter basket! Have a good day at work!
Goldie--Like I told them, I don't have to be a valued employee, but I DO have to be treated with common courtesy. Wicked cute eggs!
Jazzy--Amazing how quickly the weather has turned now that April has arrived! So glad your travel was smooth. Sorry your sis and her partner have been stressed, and I do hope your visit was a break for them. Good new spa memories are a great thing to have. My family doesn't do much with Easter as a holiday. I get together with Mom and Dick and sometimes some other friends of theirs for a bean suppah on Saturday nights. This last Saturday was a rare one that did not have a public supper anywhere, so we went to a local restaurant. Mom is going down to visit my brother and his wife next week. I agree the Hospice thing is going to be an ongoing PITA, and I'm looking around for something to replace it with. Going to talk to a recruiter about a per diem position at another office and looking at some other options, including some outside of nursing. Working on keeping the trust in God, going strong, too. What a pretty happy hour pic!
Chi-- good description of Tamiflu vs Theraflu. Those multisymptom OTC meds are involved in more inadvertent overdoses of tylenol and/or benadryl and/or medication interactions with high blood pressure medications that you can shake a stick at. People just don't think to check the ingredient list of the OTC stuff they take. I feel for your friend, she may not have had high blood pressure, a stroke is a dose dependent risk of the decongestants.

Jazzy, the mud treatment sounds nice. Glad you got that baby butt smooth feeling!
NM, things always seem to work out for you, just hang in there girl. Drunken Bunny DOTD, cute, but I think it would be quite sweet!
For you wino's in the lounge, have you seen the talking wine bottles? Of course you need the app. But it's pretty cool. It's called 19 crimes. Each bottle has a person on it, I believe men. You put your phone in front of the picture and the person talks, moving mouth and head. It uses your camera, you can even put your finger in front of the talking face and it appears. Each bottle has 3 stories. Someone at the Easter gathering showed it to me. Also, I forgot to mention that my hummers are here. We so enjoy watching them.

Hi friends- got settled in yesterday and working on some follow up on some new work opps today. More interesting things coming as two of my other things went in to the abyss (one for the second time too). But so it goes with the healthcare world right now (some of you know this only too well too, like NM). The world is my oyster and seeking out all the great new pearls out there!
Goldie- I have a bottle of the 19 Crimes and also the app. I saw it on FB sometime earlier this year and then came across it at Cost Plus World Market. Their wines are very good too, mostly red blends that I saw and tried a different one at a restaurant back in Feb. Really fun.
How is your mom doing this week?
NM- well I won't say that when you speak up, you won't be punished by organizations. However, for me as a consultant and also for you as PRN, you must remind yourself that your career is no longer tied to playing the game. Raises, promotions, bonuses don't matter in our world. We get paid for the work we do, and have to create our own boundaries around it (as they have none, as you know). It takes a good year to get used to this and think you are making that transition. A good reminder to say "not my circus, not my monkeys."
A few years back, I was being considered for something with another area within a local healthcare client's org and it went nowhere. I later found out that someone thwarted that with the VP and after I worked on another project for my primary client, I learned he was very impressed by me but had been told I was "not a good choice" for the work. I knew that was tied to something that happened on an earlier project where I stood up to the project manager who tried to make me work Xmas weekend (which I was okay with) plus the whole week before. I told her I was not able or willing to work 80 hours a week (and my contract read up to 40 hours a week and more if agreed to). I was already working 60 hours a week for the go live which is plenty in itself. Anyways, the same dude got removed from his big role and side lined and Jazzy is just smirking the whole way. What goes around comes around. So yes, people can do things to retaliate but that is not a mature management style.
If the census is slowing down, might be good to get your resume out there for other PRN work?
ChiSandy- your Passover outing sounded lovely (free mimosa's too!) I ate way too much out in CA including at the fab deli that has these amazing sugar free desserts like I have not seen anywhere else. I love your new pic too, BTW.
I have to get out to pick up an on line order at REI and get some much needed food for this household. I am wishing you all a great Tuesday

Actually, Jazzy, that was Easter brunch on Sunday. We did Passover on Fri. night at Mon Ami Gabi, just the four of us. Wasn't going to drink tonight (other than seltzer with lime to go with a salad and Buffalo wings) but Bob called and is coming home with a Costco shrimp ring--so I threw a few bottles of something white in the fridge. I probably won't indulge (nor in the shrimp--gotta get to bed early), but I'm chilling a 2007 Mendoza valley Chardonnay and a 2010 Maryhill (WA) Viognier--in the "drink now if it's still palatable" category; and a 2015 Graves if the foregoing have oxidized past the point of drinkability.
Have an early followup appt. with the hand surgeon tomorrow. Back in Feb., when I fell upstairs (yes, that's a thing) I broke my fall with my L hand and hurt my TFCC (a cartilage complex by the outer edge of my radius & ulna). No fracture or dislocation on X-ray, but it hurt (with audible clicking) to rotate my hand & wrist away from my body. Tomorrow's appt. was supposed to determine if an ultrasound or MRI would be warranted if I was still having pain. Everything was fine by Sun. (most of last week, actually) so I was going to cancel the appt. Well, Sun. night I was getting into bed and positioning myself just so, pivoting on my left arm; and....OWWWW! I managed to sprain that wrist. Now it hurts to turn it the other way. Can still type, but I can't play barre chords on guitar or make long finger stretches on my larger dulcimers. It's always something...

ChiSandy, falling upstairs, lol I’ve done that myself a few time but I blame my size 11 feet, sadly I’m not even tall only 5’5
I’m quiet lately, had my 2 month brain MRI last week which revealed 4 new spots, one of which could be in the fluid around the brain (lepto mets), although, the radiologist didn’t think it was. I had a spine MRI yesterday and will have a lumbar puncture on Thursday, I hate needles and am sulking a bit over it. But, no time to dwell on a crappy hand, it’s just not my style.
Oh, and the 5k is next weekend, should be fun!

Ill- I am sorry to hear about the spots on the brain. You have been doing well sister and hopefully, you will be able to get past this and on to all the good things you are looking forward to (aka retirement). I remembered your run was coming up too (how did it come to be April). Will be in your pocket this week for the test you need to do and praying for good outcomes.
Sending much love
Chi- I hope your apt goes okay with the surgeon tomorrow. It is always something, that is for darned sure. Will be in your pocket too sister.
I like that you celebrated the whole weekend of holidays

HI girls,
Sorry I have not been around, I am really feeling down these days. Nothing much to report, still looking for work. Had a phone interview last week which got my hopes up but heard yesterday that it is a no go. I am near broke and just dont know what I will do. I cashed an IRA and also cashed in some stock but there is nothing left. Cheryl is helping me so much with bills but does not make quite enough to completely carry me, nor should she have to. Ugh. Prayers would be appreciated.
I will try to stop in again when I am feeling less grumpy.
