Happy Birthday Erika!  Hope you have a marvelous day.  Save some of that Fettucine Alfredo for me.  I will leave the cake up to our poet Dee!  Kathy, it does look like the boys are getting the pool area ready. It also looks like they better get cooking as they have quite a spread to prepare.  Maybe Junie will have to help....LOL!  OK, got to go get ready for Doc Appt.  I will be back later for a percotini, followed by the pasta and some vino.....Later....HunkyD

Now for a poem from Dee or junie! What time is the party? I actually have another dinner to go to, but will come by afterwards for after dinner drinks and to nibble on some.....ummmm.....OH YEAH...CAKE... (had the guys on my naughty little mind...lol)!

P.S. I pick the guy on the left....

    a warm and gentle breeze is blowing;

    firepit--torches brightly glowing;

and the drinks are freely flowing.

    OMG, this is so cool--

someone just fell in the pool.

all the girls are starting to drool--

the buffet foods' been sent from heaven

    to celebrate E's FORTY-SEVEN.

    happy birthday, Erika......

Good poem, junie! Just got home....stuffed....but I guess I could be tempted by some cake...duh! Hope I didn't miss the guys jumping out of that huge cake. Erika, are you enjoying your party here, or are you MIA? Sure looks like everyone has been having fun....lots of water splashed ALL over....and I see lots of empty glasses and bottles.....hmmmm.......and lots of gals sprawled out on all the lounge chairs. Well, I'm glad we don't have to clean up the HTL....it will be all taken care of.!

    Enjoy your birthday night Erika,

Kathy, I think someone should check the bottom of the pool.  I haven't seen anything moving.  Do people that eat a lot still float?  Is there really something to that old myth about no swimming for a half hour after you eat?  I know Junie is OK because she just penned a beautiful poem. I hope we don't have to send the bouncer in the pool for a body check.  HD

HD...I actually had to look back at the pic you posted and make sure you didn't add someone at the bottom of the pool! I know with as much as I ate tonight, I sure wouldn't float.....not sure how the others are faring, but it really is quite still...you are so right. OK....send in Pants for a body check....(((((BIG splash!))))). Are you feeling okay? Hope your recovery is going as well as can be expected....

Here's to E's Caramel Apple Drink...I sure missed trying it tonight. Did anyone try it here? I think the TT's probably made all the drinks Erika requested...

...if the bouncer jumps in the pool, I am outta here...that guy can splash more water around than the rain we've been having.   ok--I'm walking around the pool.  I don't see anything or anyone odd...wait, I think I just saw a leg cast go floating by and there is someone in a scuba suit cruising along the bottom....or maybe I've just been at the party too long.   (lol, wahine, think we were posting at the same time)

Thank you, thank you all for the wonderful birthday wishes and party!  I just love the picture and the poetry, and just everything.  The tiki torches are an especially nice touch.  I certainly hope everyone ate and drank as much as they wanted, and everyone made it home (or to a poolside lounger) safely. You are all so wonderful - your kindness brings tears to my eyes.

Wishing you all health and happiness,

Hello to all of my most favorite drinking buds! I am home and reading and trying to catch up with everyone. Had to stop here on page 205, where I see Hunky's post that she is home. So glad to see her here so soon.

I have so enjoyed reading the last few pages and looking forward to reading more! Everything went well. The kids did not participate. Jimmy was having a "moment" and not cooperating. No rain and no tradewinds. So with the heat index, temps were in the  mid 90's and humidity was about 90%. So needless to say, like a sauna and hot flashes galore. Stood out there during the ceremony with sweat just pooring! More on the wedding and honeymoon later.

Happy belated b-day to Kitty. And all the pics I have seen are just too much! You gals have been having a GOOD time! We did have the tsumami warning in HI, but only for about 2 hours.

Ok, I need to go get in the shower and back to work! I will read more later and post again when I get a chance. Still have 2 pages to go! See ya all at Pau Hana

    Love you all

    Lori

A BIG WELCOME HOME TO MRS. LORI !!!! Sorry to hear about the heat....I was hoping the weather would cooperate. Nowadays, with hot flashes since my dx, I really only try to plan visits from Nov thru Feb. My parents do not have a/c in any of their homes, and by the beach, it can be HOT, HOT, HOT. (They arrive tomorrow for a few wks here, and my mom can't wait for this cool weather!). But sometimes Kauai and certain parts of the other islands will be cool. You can be in the mountain and be cooler, but it all depends on that darn humidity. I sure don't remember being so hot when I was growing up, but we were on the mountain and it really was cooler there (overlooked Pearl). Anyway, I am so glad you made it back home safely. Too bad the g'kids didn't feel like cooperating...you just never know with little ones...but I know you were just so glad to have them there with you. Can't wait to see some pics and hear more about your trip! Best, best wishes for a lifetime of happiness together!!!Kiss

    Hugs to you both,

    Kathy

Welcome home Lori!! Glad you are home safe and congrats on your nuptuals!

I just got to work, I have had four doctors appointmnets in the last week to try and figure out if my gallbladder is going kaput, but so far I haven't heard anything definate. I did however hear possible mets. Trying to stay in the right frame of mind. Have to admit though that I'm a bit frazzled right now.

I will talk to you all later on. Luv to all my breast friends!

Oh dear, Dee, sending prayers that they will find what is wrong with your gallbladder and it is something easy to fix. How frustrating to have so many dr appts and still not have any answers. We are here for you, all of your "breast friends" (I love that!). Prayers and comforting thoughts being sent your way....Innocent (wish they had more emoticons for us to choose from....like the praying hands, etc...sheesh!). Try to relax and stay focused....you have a gift of looking at things in a positive light, and I hope you are able to do that now...it could be so many different things. Not fun to be at work, but that is prob keeping your mind from having too much time to worry. After work, come for "pau hana" at the HTL and let Pants and Jocks take your mind to a much better place!

    Healing Hugs and Love,

    Kathy

Dee, I hope you hear from your tests soon.  WE ALL know the frustations of waiting on tests. I am keeping you in my prayers.  Kathy is right, it could be so many things, but as you know, we 'Breast Friends" do always stir ourselves up to the max on every health issue.  Kathy, I will be back for Pau Hana.  P.S. Well, my parents should arrive in the morning, (my mom can't wait to FINALLY get here...delayed since last week), then we are all off to Tunica! Can only imagine how tired THEY will be after the long flts from HI...we will meet up in Tunica with my 94 yr old aunt who will drive over from AR. Of course, they don't gamble, only meeting there since it is a half way mark. But you can be assured we WILL be gambling and drinking!  We will be back on Friday. I sure wish I was as healthy as they are. Can't party tonight at HTL....have too much to do Cry. Having happy hour now, then it is back to work. Worried about Dee's tests, and hoping HD will be able to drink soon! Anyone going to be in Vegas in Dec? We'll be there from the 7-12th. Amazing deals at MGM if anyone is interested in going there, send me a PM.  Had such a nice dinner last night...the restaurant even had our name printed on the menus and really had VIP service.....I was doing a "mystery shop" and it surpassed our expectations. Thinking of everyone, and hope we can all get together some day!

Hi gals, Here is the MGM link in case anyone is interested in staying there. Was $52/night w/ 3 buffet meals per day for 2....which is an amazing deal....we do like their buffet, and their pools are awesome, although in Dec it might be a bit (brrrrr) too cold for the pools! I think the prices have gone up some though since we got our res.

Parents arrived a few minutes ago.....YAY....4 days later than planned, thanks to Delta Frown. But they got here safely, and that is all that matters! Leaving in an hour for Tunica....guess I'll have to look up "Hunk" and point him out to my mom,,,,she'll prob drool over him too...lol. You gals be good Surprised and don't work Pants and Jocks tooooo hard! I'll check in when I can....hope to win the $$$ this time....yeah, right!

    Ciao,

Very nice picture Lori.  Hope you had a great time?  We had a couple parties while you were gone.  One real big one for Kitty where Dee got shitfaced and ended up passed out in the pool.  LOL!  I am home and still in recoop mode.  Kathy, I hope you win enough for us all to meet in Vegas.  Maybe Hunk can point you to a loose machine.  LOL!    I'm sorry Erika but I think if we have anymore parties like yours we will have to bring in some stomach pumps.  My gawd.  I think the bouncer enjoyed it too.....he offered to clean up.  Junie...where are ya?  CAZ...I remember you talking about nipple protection and now I understand.  How the hell am I supposed to go out in public with foam protectors under a surgery bra.  Looks like I have little brick blocks now under my tee shirt.  Plus I have this strap to hold the boobs in and down.  Going to have to figure out something to wear for tomorrow as I have hair appointment.  Maybe I will have my husband go in and get the cape they put on you for haircuts and bring it out to the car.  LOL!  Jaybird...wherever you are....cheers!  Hope everyone is healthy.  Flu season approaches.  My Pau Hana is going to start early tonight.  I walked on treadmill for 30 minutes and feel like I need a reward of sorts.  Going to see if Erika is napping out by the pool.  XO  HunkyD

Hunky I saw all the parties you gals had, looks like you had a blast! Even more, I am glad you were up to it! All things considered, it seems you are doing pretty darn good young lady. Now....as for the walk on the treadmill.....are you suppose to be doing that?

Dee, I too am sorry to hear about your current issues and echo what Kathy said. Try to keep your mind occupied with other things. Let us know when you know something and know that your "Breast Friends" are right here by your side.

Erika, Happy Birthday to you too! I loved the menu!

Kathy, have fun and win big in Tunica. But no jokes this time! Tell mom and dad we all said aloha!

And Junie, sooooo sooooo sorry to hear about all that rain and the roof leaking. As for the deer, you can keep them. You all know the problems I have had with them. If there were other things out here for them to eat, I would welcome them. But unfortunately, in the high dessert, there isn't!

CAZ, I see you were here too and that you were out caruzin!

I can't remember everything I read, with out going back and re-reading, so anyone or anything I forgot.....please forgive me!

Got run and check on dinner, then eat...then I am gonna at least try and get some pics on photo bucket so I can share!

Whew! Grabbin a cold one to take with.

Sorry, I tried to post a cute pic, but I couldn't get it formated right..BOOHOO!

Lori you look beautiful! It must have been so amazing to be able to get married in such an awesome place. Again, congratulations!

Hunky, with her foam square nips and here we go again with the strap on thingy. Maybe you could use a couple of the left over party hats to cover the nips, then you'll look like madonna used to with her pointy bra. LOL

Still haven't hear anything from the doc, so nothing to add on that topic. Thanks for all your best wishes :) I did however get another 75cc on Monday, so I am up to 975cc, only 3 more fills to go! Going to have a couple percotinis and head on out to the pool area. Hopefully I won't fall in tonight :)

    Cya, luv to all!

Put your life jacket on Dee. Bummer you couldn't get the picture up, and we can't say its because you don't know what you are doing, as you have done it in the past!

LMAO, I forgot about the nipple covers and strap ons.....LOL! I think CAZ used the little drink umbrellas, right? But I like the idea of the party hats. What do you think Hunky? Just in time for Halloween!

Headed out to the pool to make sure Dee doesn't drown. And join Hunky too.

I am here.  I think I am not going to worry about nipple coverage.  I did put some of my slimline pads in my bra over the little foam bricks.  They work pretty good but, oh, hell!  I am just going to wear a loose vest and call it good for tomorrow.  The madonna look might not be bad though.  So easy too.  Just a stop at the Dollar Store in the party section.  My little monkey is not interested in the strap on idea either.  Do you realize if someone reads these posts there could be an unconditional intervention to the psych ward.  I am certainly ready for a padded room.  I am already padded up anyway.  Gawd I love this bar.  I think my drugs are playing tricks on my mind.

So, I'm on a business trip in Atlanta, had myself some wine from room service!  Cheers!!

What is everyone going to be for Halloween?  I'm going to be a senorita!  I guess that means I'll have to drink some tequila!  Cabo Wabo?  Don Julio?  Patron???  :)

Welcome home, Lori and Mr. Lori--did you see lots of rainbows?  Did you love Hawaii?   The picture you posted is grand--looking forward to seeing some more.   From that picture alone, it looks like your wedding was lovely.

I'm gonna sit at the bar for a few minutes and bend Jocks ear while he fills up my ML bucket  Jocks has decided to make up an extra big bucket.   He can't believe it is still raining here and that heavy storms are predicted for tomorrow.   Jocks can't believe that hubby got rear-ended on his way to grocery store.   No visible damage to either car, except that he had the goofy dog with him, who wasn't buckled in (Hah) and dog lost his footing and crashed into the windshield and BROKE the windshield.    Sheriff and both drivers elected to not file a written report so as not to raise the other driver's ins.   She promised hubby she'd pay for the windshield out-of-pocket.   Sheriff says to call if things don't work out and he'll submit a written report.  The joys of small-town living.   grrrrrrr.  (dog is just fine...)    Leaving my umbrella and rain boots in the corner and grabbing my bucket.  Thanks Jocks--bless his heart, he threw in some extras--couple 1664's and something Stoopid....................gonna go join whoever's still at the pool.

    hugggsssss, junie

Hi everyone - welcome back again, Mrs. Lori - just love your picture!

Junie - so sorry to hear about hubby's accident - wow, sure glad everyone's ok. Better keep that bucket full, sounds like you need it.

Dee - I don't think you'll need a life jacket, apparently your "Dollies" will keep you floating face-up, just fine :) Hope the fill isn't causing you pain.

Kittycat - wine sounds wonderful! When's your bday?  Wishing you a very happy one, whether my wishes are early or belated!

Hunky - please have a seat next to me & help me understand all the lingo - sorry, I'm just a newbie & am not familiar with all of the equipment/supplies needed. (I actually read your line as "slime-line" pads and figured they were some kind of slippery gel things - until I reread it - duh). What are foam bricks, surgical bras, and straps?  It's ok if you'd rather not discuss - just have another drink & I'll figure it out as I go. :)
