NM, I hope your friend recovers quickly.  You are sounding much better.  Enjoy your special time with Sadie.  Your pics are great, I love the one with the diet books, they remind why I have to stop eating everything in sight when I am dwunk. I do so well all day then drink, eat and sleep, a big no-no.

Kathy, I hope the installation of the water heater goes smooth for ya. I am glad you are not doing it yourself although I am shocked ;)

Kymn, Jack is Jack Daniels, yeah baby.  And what is rye? I am glad you are not mad at me for copying you but I just had to have that same stool. Hang in there sister, things do get better. You are entitled to bad days as we all have them...which is why we all come here and drink.  Cheers to ya girl.

Valentine shopping done, got myself two eight packs of knee highs, in light black and nude. I am living large now lol. Maybe the rubber band marks around my legs will eventually go away.

Well it is nap time for this lazy girl. I am heading to the hammock, Chrissy, please don't knock me in the pool again, I need my siesta!  Talk to you after my nappy. Time to get my blankie, my pacifier and rock myself to sleep.

Hi - Happy Sunday Morning! It is chilly here but just beaUtiful! Need to go out and take some pictures but probably not enough time.

Kathy - Ugh hate replaceing things like water heaters - I know you have to have them but so much more fun to buy shoes or gosh even plants that I will quickly kill rather than a big ol ugly water heater but can't do cold showers so?? Very glad you and Clair are not wresteling the thing in!

Astorm - so sorry about your neighbor - it brings it all home doesn't it. So hard and so sad. You need to tell your DH next time a note saying where he has gone is much nicer than waking you. I so love to sleep and that would have been very upsetting.

Dorothy be careful of those knee hi's with rubber bands that sounds bad. Glad you were able to get some new ones. So what did you find for your DH? Men are so difficult to buy for. My on again off again has invited me to dinner on Tuesday night after Valentine's to celebrate. Hoping dinner is the present as I haven't even thought about getting him anything and if I do well - no ideas at all!

Chrissy - Wow those are some winds! Sounds awfully dangerous.

NM. - What a pain to wait that long for the computer and find it not good. I'd be awfully upset but then the computer guy took my computer away before Christmas and I thought he was going to bring it back but? I think he thought I'd connect my lap top to the monitor and use it but with three kids and homework I need that other computer.... sigh. I don't begin to understand them so useless at buying one on my own. But gosh that doesn't seem right.

You are so lovely to look after your neighbor. My neighborhood people just are not so friendly. I hate that. I went to one neighborhood party and my kids clung to me like glue and my son with Ds ran everywhere so mainly I chased after him with the other two clinging and no one spoke to us and everyone was paired off in groups. Not being a very out going soul we just left and haven't tried again. I'm just not very good at that. My neighbors on each side are nice but very much keep to themselves.

Can't flip the page but wow the drink of the day sounds lovely! Ok, so far who has tried it? Love the cyber no calories but that sounds good enough to go for the calories. I go back to my trainer in the am so better wait on that though.

Was trying to explain to someone about this thread - OK, it really comes off as amusing almost as good as it really is!!! Of course they don't know  what a mischievious guy pants can be with his silly pranks.

Oh saw on the show Glee one of the girls had on sock monkey pajamas! Thought you of you all especially HD, right ? Sorry not had morning caffine or pills yes to my brain is a bit foggy.

Off to take my son to see the family show at Symphony of Alladin with music of Sherasazod. I know I did NOT spell that right but spell check did not come up! Anyway last night took the other two to see the Paul McCartney impersonator with the band Live and Let Die also with the symphony. Had no idea Sir Paul has written symphonies! they played one movement of one and it was absolutly beautiful - called Leaf. What an amazing talent. Also joked about how funny it must have been when he wrote the song about When I'm 64 and to think he recently turned 64! Anyway, fun weekend of music. Along with soccer and swim banquets and Poker night fund raiser at the school! Whew!

Hi Karen, are you feeling invisible on the board here or in life? i have felt both come and complain to us we will all listen.I found its hard at first on the boards cause so many of the woman have a history together and your the newbie coming in and not getting the jokes and i felt passed over when someone would respond to my post but noone means to it really is hard to remember what everyone has said and who said it and what is going on with everyone. i still struggle but I know the more I come here the more connections i will make.As for life I felt invisible cause after the initial shock wore off for everyone they just continued on with their merry lives and i was left still holding the cancer card Cry I know they didnt mean to make me feel that way and carrying on with lives is what your supposed to do i guess just wish a few more realized mine is changed now forever.

Ok well hope your having a better sunday afternoon.

Karen, don't feel invisible, and Kymn, for a newbie...you sure know your cards well.  I won't even laugh about that.  I hope you find this thread to be the least "clicky" of any of the threads.  We do feel, and we understand.  You will find someone here that has been there, done it, and more!  It is hard to keep up sometimes, but stay and I promise you that will be LYAO in no time.  There are those that are so far out of the trt and recon situation and BC(they are usually the ones flirting with the tenders), and then those just going through it!  I hope I never appear snobbish to anyone here.  And, if I should, please just B!tc# slap me!  Beans, please don't be mad at me....I am the one that connected the dots with you and acid......hugs to all.....HD

Hi Karen, Good responses from Beans and Kymn (and HD too...was posting at the same time!). Sorry if it is here that you are feeling invisible, and didn't mean any oversight. As for me, I usually respond to either the most recent posts,or the ones that relate to me. I can't respond to all the posts or all the posters, as we have so many now! EVERYONE is welcome at this bar though, and the more the merrier!!!! Heck, I can't even keep everyone's names straight anymore! Hope the rest of the day will be a really good one for you! (((HUGS)))

Kymn, Karen is not a newbie, she just does not visit as much as the rest of us and is usually drunk and doen't remember things lol. It was a girl named Karin who was the newbie, she thought we were snobs. lmao, Karin, come on back, we are snobs cuz be are members on the very exclusive HTL! I used to get the girls mixed up and sometimes still do. I am sorry you feel invisible. I have to say that when I returned to work the first day, everyone was asking how I am doing and feeling and now, after two weeks, seems everyone forgot about it. It hurts. I did however play the cancer card in leaving early from work for a doctor appointment, which was really a concert in Atlantic City! I got the card and I am playing it, damn it.

Wahine, Chrissy brought enough hammocks for all of us a few months ago, where'd they go?

Stanzie, the show last night sounds like it was amazing. I would have enjoyed that. And funny about "when I'm 64."!  I love Sir Paul. I hope you enjoy the symphony. You are making such great memories for your children, enjoy yourself.

Claire, are you on the top of the world now? Pop on in.  Me and Beans are just chilling at the swim up bar and it is De-lite-Ful. Cheers, titz up!

HD - I did read the Electric Kool Aid Acid Test, but I never inhaled (he he he). (PS I sure hope you were kidding about me bean mad...maybe mad like a hatter - ha ha ha - I'm never mad at U!! maybe my jokes suck lately!!!)

AStorm - was so sorry to read about your bad day and your neighbor, that is so sad and it must make you feel just awful...you are never ever a downer...I sure hope you will feel better and not have to work so much, but I think it's that time of year.

Dorthy - that a$$ pic had me LMAO last night...the kitty looks to me like she's boxing a chicken or a rooster? Did you read the Electric Kool Aid Acid Test too-two-to??? Oh good, swim up bar, I'm there, baby!!

wahine - there was so much going on since yesterday, it is hard to respond to all, but I so much love reading and seeing the pics...such a super terrific fun excellent cool gorgeous and rockin bunch of chicas!

    Ch-ch-ch-cheers! Bean Bad

In reality, this is sick, just making a point. Real friends would understand what we are going through.

LOL HD! i am RIGHT NEXT TO YA, but those darn glasses are too fogged up. HEY.....you just swam right into me! Dang it girl, why did you delete that post? I loved the picture!!! Swim-up bar is getting verrrrrry cwowded toodei.....nice to see such a good cwowd. Love all the pics! Don't know how you did that one, HD!

Dorothy, I have no idea where the banana hammocks went! Just that someone (Kymn?) wanted to take Chrissy's, and I wanted to be sure there were enuf to go around. (May have that mixed up....lol). AND you are right, it was Karin that was the newbie. And she just made 1-2 posts. I don't always respond when someone first pops in, cause so many times they don't come back! I thought the welcome mat was out,but maybe we need to put it OUTSIDE the door and not hide it inside...he he he.

OK, Beans, I lived thru the 60's (I think!), but WTH is the Electric KoolAid Acid Test??? Did I miss out on something? OR did I take that test and don't remember it? I must have inhaled....!

HI to all you chicas! IT is now HAPPY HOUR.....HOORAY! Trying not to get too much water in my drink....if only HD would quit splashing!!! LOL.

I'm just back from my ride.  Didn't go skiing as not that much snow.....just enough to grease the ice underneath, and I have already had one sore landing this season.

So I went and did the Foothills Trail which is just under Mt Rainier.  Just the most glorious late winter day, and I did see some crocuses at the bulb farm at the trail head.  Plus rhubarb emerging in the rhubarb fields.

Interesting how when you get older some things don't bother you as much.  Like the guy who mentioned that seeing my shapely posterior (not the word he used) helped propel him up the long, slow climb.

Feel infinitely better than two days ago when I was seriously lacking exercise.

One concept I am having difficulty getting my brain around.  I thought "banana hammocks" were for the guys, not us.  I would be interested in the contents however..... - Claire

Well I'm here - somewhere that is??? As to being good and referring back to everyone's post I think I'll have to step up and admit, what you all already know, that I'm the worst at responding to everyone and keeping track of everyone and who does what.... my brain doesn't work well enough to do that but it isn't new I think it has always been that way so to all newbies - I'm sorry .... Karen, Kymn!

Funny beanie with the electric kool aid!!!

Claire, glad you enjoyed the great outdoors. And wow, you are making me exciting in thinking about Spring, it is getting close. I celebrate when I see beauty popping out of the groud. I suspect my Hyacinths, Tulips, crocus's, Hosta etc etc are lurking under the snow on the ground. I am affected with SAD and hate hate hate winter. I almost orgasm when I see my perenials coming out, getting green and such. I have the most beautiful creeping myrtle that was gifted from a dear friend and rooted from his bush. I t was the size of my palm when he gave it to me and is now three feet tall and so beautiful in bloom. I love the flowering trees too. Oh gawd, I am getting excited. Pants, bring me a drink and take em off, oh yeah. A big party tonight.

Oh Claire, I was talking to you and digressed. I am still a wannabee lazy beotch. I think I will try walking around the grounds at work tomorrow, they really are well kept and beautiful to the eye. And do tell what that guy really said to you!!! Motivate me, sista!

It is always just great hearing from everyone.  And what about the real deal with the acid? HD posts about it and deletes, hmmm, is she tripping without me??? Cheers girls, join me, now I am lonely Frown

Claire, I was using some literary license there....just saying "hammocks" sounded B-O-R-I-N-G!

Glad so many galz showed up!!!! Keeping Pants and Jocks bizzy filling all our drinks. Dorothy, I don't know what a "creeping myrtle" is...but thinking it is a smaller crape myrtle that has trailing tendencies? We have so many crape (or crepe depending on how you want to spell it) myrtles here....and something the horticulturists have coined is "crape murder"....as in pruning back the crape myrtles severely, which so many seem to want to do. They would rather people plant the right size to start with! We have several around the perimeter of our yard that have gotten overshadowed by the leyland cypress', so they barely bloom and are soooooo tall. Glad the bomb scare was just that! Let's keep our TT's super busy tonight! Oh, and Dorothy how bout providing some music? Still waiting to see more of your videos....really enjoyed that one you posted!

    Ciao,
