Kathy, your day with the kids sounds absolutely perfect, bummer about the car getting scratched, I hope it wasn't too bad, or it was older car and doesn't matter much. You should call the horse stable back, and let them know that because of the way they handled things, they lost business.

Gail, ALL the monkeys were sick? With the price of gas, esp. in CA, you should charge them for your travels!

Karen, glad you are feeling better and DD too. Enjoy your R&R day, mani/pedi sound great. I have never had either.

Kristy, glad you checked in and have good counts on the blood.

Heading to town today and will enjoy lunch with our CPA at a Mexican restaurant. Weather heading into the 80's and no more lows in the teens! Also getting a hair cut. Was hoping for highlights too but she didn't have the time.

Gail, those monkeys weren't really sick.....

Kathy, I bumped into you.....wasn't expecting to see you beautiful face so early. Sound like another fun day and evening....ENJOY!

How about a FUNKY MONKEY today?

    1 shot Rum (Golden)

    3/4 shot Crème de Banane

3/4 shot Crème de Cacao (White)

    1 shot Cream of Coconut

    1 shot Double Cream

    1 shot Milk

    1 whole Banana

Make sure to use ripe banana for this drink. It can either be served in a Goblet glass, or better still a coconut shell if you have one to hand.

Blend all 7 ingredients with 10-12oz of crushed ice. Pour into a Goblet glass.

Float toasted coconut strips on top of the drink to garnish and serve with straws.

Well, I tried to get on yest eve for pau hana and to wish everyone a Happy Cinco de Mayo, but I couldn't get on BCO so I will have to say all this a little late! To celebrate we had beautiful quesadillas and nachos! (No AStorm not the nachos with cheeze whiz, I used real cheeze - ha ha!). Also had some nice merlot...should have picked up some good Mexican beer...Dos Equis or Bohemia are my favs. I think Bohemia is my all time fav beer on the planet. But then I also like Heineken, St Pauley Girl, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Red Tail Ale, and Moose Drool - to tell the truth I haven't tried Moose Drool, but I think it's funny, it's made in Montana.

    moose

Wahine - that sounds like such a wonderful day at the safari with your grandsons, but my goodness your car sounds like a mess...I'm sure it was worth it though, all the animals sound so fun to see, I just love wild life and sounds like so much fun with grandkids! That stable owner sounds like a jerk so glad you didn't go there and I think you should def get your money back! Read your story about the ballet school that kept asking for money, how awful! Thanks for letting us know about the Gardens Day, that looks so nice. What a yummie breakfast your DH is making...hope you and DH have fun at the festival Percy Sledge has a great voice!

Goldie - thanks for the safe travel wishes...that is such a beautiful pic of you!!! Hope you have a great lunch today, I guess we are all celebrating CdM a little late. Hey, hair highlights? Sorry you didn't get them, I was thinking of that too, but don't know how or what to use that is safe...do you know a good thing to use? Love the monkeys and oh boy a FUNKY MONKEY cocktail sounds great this morning...perfect to get this monkey packing...no I still haven't finished...will hit the road in the morning one way or another. Tanks 4 da dwink and have a great day!

AStorm - two of my nieces took a lot of ballet, they are all grown now, but it was so cute to watch them...one even majored in dance, now she is back getting a science degree! The other went to med school and is now a doctor. So hard to believe those little girls are all growd up. Hey, did someone mention spanking those naughty monkeys??? (he he he he) That is so bad they didn't show up. Margaritas are so good, but I've never made them, hummmm, will have to think about that...I did buy one of those premade Quervo margaritas and it was pretty good.

Vnorman - So sorry your Mom sounds like she's trying to be controlling...it's your life and I hope you will make it your way. When I got dx'd everyone started sending me books on how to eat healthy and sh*t. Like that was going to help. Like Karen and many others I already had a pretty healthy lifestyle, exercise, fruits n veggies, etc. But I got it anyway. I did ask my oncologist and was told I could have a glass of wine or beer inbetween chemos, but it tasted like sh*t so I din't drink on chemo - also it is all processed by the liver as others have mentioned. I would talk with your doc, but for me drinking in moderation is joyful, my DH and I enjoy wine at happy hour and that works for me. Good luck at Mother's Day!

Karen - your words to vnorman brought tears to my eyes, I thought you stated that so beautifully! I sure doesn't seem fair that you did all the "right things" and get stage 3. Glad your dau is doing better and you also at least a tad better. So is it your birthday, did I miss something??? I read your DH got you a gift cert for your BD or Mother's Day...so Happy Birthday! Hope you have a nice mani/ped and lunch with your friend.

Husker - So glad your blood work was good, what a hassle getting the sample though. All my chemo was by IV which was a hassle, but sounds like the port has problems too. That is so nice your DH send you flowers, how sweet! Wow, 13 days you are really counting down...Happy Friday!

Chrissy - always good to see you, such nice words to vnorm.

Mitch - love your avatar! Makes me smile

    Cheers to all! ~Beans

Karen - is it happy birthday to you?

Hope this works - funny you tube video called the Ultimate dog tease I tried posting the link but then got the broken link sign ???? I even went to IE for it and everything. Anyway, it is kind of mean but very funny and well done.

So I'm think Moose Drool Beers are reminding me of NM......

Thanks Beanie on the Avatar - yours is pretty amusing I must say!

Happy lunch Goldie! and Happy Friday All!!!!

Good morning, loungettes! Didn't get home from work til 10 last night so I'm game for celebrating CdM tonight. Last year we had an amazing feast at HTL... remember? I think the Tenders dressed up like mariachis too. Here's a video to set the mood: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nc9xq-TVyHI&feature=player_detailpage

My cats got out last night - both of them, which is really weird because one of them never goes out. I called for a long time and I could hear him (he talks to me) but he couldn't figure out how to got back over the fence as the neighbor's house lower grade than our side. If it wasn't the mean guy who complained about our sweet WD I probably would have just opened their gate for him... he finally found a place where the fence wasn't as high... bet he'll never do that again cuz he really likes food and soft pillows... and me of course.

Ya, Lori, I do charge for cancellations - unless the client is generally reasonable. This particular client is a repeat offender. Many years ago he balked at paying me when his wife claimed she called me but didn't (third time) but I was firm with him so now he doesn't even complain. The thing is, I had another client who wanted that time AND I ended up with a 3 hour hole in my schedule (without my text books) AND this was a training session so there was preparation involved. He did ask me to "pencil him in" for 2 days next week. Not sure what that means but if someone else wants the time I'm not going to hold it open for them! In the meantime, I'm reading up on this monkey-spanking business

Hmm, there aren't any monkeys in this book... WHAT are they doing!?

Beanie - I'm not much of a beer drinker but DH is... I guess there are different types so it's hard for me to buy beer for him. There's ISB-something... I think it's ale... and we both like Anchor Steam. There are a couple of small breweries here but Portland had a lot of them and he found a new favorite at Deschutes "Mirror Pond" I think, which is a pale ale. I liked it too but if I'm at home I'm more likely to have a glass of wine... or a MARGARITA. I'm ready for a little breakfast marggy... Where are those Tenders?

I think I have "sampled" most of the ambers and IPAs here in the NW.  Remember, cyclists often go for some post-ride refreshments and rumor has it that beer is unsurpassed as a "recovery drink".

So yes on the Moose Drool, and agree on Mirror Pond.  However, here in Seattle, my fave ones are made my Hale's Ales.  My favorite name is Pike Place Brewing "Kilt Lifter", named for the Utilikilt place across the street. (Work kilts for men, and yes some men here do wear them.)

There are undoubtedly a number of excellent brew pubs in Portland.  Suspect worth exploring.

I think it is Redhook that has one called "Mens Room Ale".  Now, that is getting a bit too close to the bone.

Anyway, Happy Friday everyone.  Back to work for me. - Claire

    Good Morning girls,

I have been out of the loop for so long now I really dont know where to start. I feel like I have missed so much in your lives.Sorry. I am feeling ok today, tired , had a few dry heaves this am but comparted to the last 6 days ok. Not sure whats up for the weekend, just trying to survive right now. Everytime I think I have a handle on it, bam tears again, gosh it is draining. The sun is popping out today so that is a nice welcome. Dorothy I am hoping your team does better tonight and doesnt get eliminated. My X DH wasnt able to find a new job here so he is moving to Edmonton, pretty sad about that its about 5 and 1/2 hours from here and it will be so much harder with the kids, and of course I will miss him too. Hope there isnt more bad news around the corner dont think I could handle anymore right now. Saw a quote the other day thought it was funny and suitable for some of us frustrated with our men

    Dear Single and Unhappy women,

There are plent of fish in the sea.....KIDDING.... their all dead.

    Love BP

LOL ok if you have my sense of humour (whats left of it) your giggle too.

oh, Kymn, glad your are still giggling!

    Hope this keeps you laughing:

The bride said she wanted three children, while the young husband said two would be enough for him. They discussed this discrepancy for a few minutes until the husband thought he'd put an end to things by saying boldly, "After our second child, I'll just have a vasectomy." Without a moments hesitation, the bride retorted, "Well, I hope you'll love the third one just as if it's your own..."

Isn't it Karen's birthday today? maybe she's busy unwrapping presents...

A fellow was talking to his buddy, and he said, "I don't know what to get my wife for her birthday. She has everything. Besides, she can afford to buy anything she wants so I'm stumped." His buddy says, "I have an idea. Why don't you make up a certificate saying she can have 60 minutes of great sex any way she wants it? She'll probably be thrilled." So the fellow did.

The next day his buddy says, "Well, did you take my suggestion?" "Yes, I did," replies the fellow. "Did she like it?"  "Oh yes! She jumped up, thanked me, kissed me on the forehead, and ran out the door yelling, 'I'll be back in an hour.'"

Look what I found laying by our pool-----Let's PAR-TAY !!!!!!

Even the dogs at the Pooch Park get to Par-tay!!

    CincoDeMayo

    ....and, who's this little fella???

Looks like our buffet is ready!

    Mexican buffet

PAR-TAY     PAR-TAY !!!    But, remember to be able to sober up enough for the Kentucky Derby manana!!!   Hope everyone is having a good TGIF day.

It is gawgeously sunny today but more rain expected over the week end.   The flooding near us (although we are high enough to be safe) is being reported as some of the worst in recorded history.   I can't decide what would be worse--have your house demolished instantly in a tornado or know that a creek/river is going to go out of its banks and your house is going to be under water!   You can't pick up your house and move it to higher ground.   Either way--total disruption and chaos.  Sad for those in the water's way and they can do nothing.

I'm gonna go hat shop for the Derby.    Wonder if anyone attending will copy Princess Beatrice's style????   Will be fun to watch tomorrow!!

HUGGGSSSSS to ALL....hasta la vista and bottomzup!!!!

Kymn, doll baby - you just made me laff and cry all at once. First, though, DottyK made that rule that we never hafta say sorry here, so just jump in wherever and let's PAR-TAY. Now, where is DorK?? Hope shez okay! And NM??? So Kymn your dry heaves made me wanna cry for you, I'm so so so sawwy! You sound like it's been a bit tough going lately but your joke made me laugh and I know you are going to survive! Like AStorm said, "glad you are still giggling!" You're going to hafta survive cuz I'm going to need you and everyone on that bus for me not next week but the week after that. I'm such a big crying baby I've been just getting myself so worked up for my follow-ups that I have a big knot in my stomach again. I just can't believe how many fukitols I'm going to need to get through this! I'm glad AStorm told you some funny jokes, I sure hope you feel better my dear.

Stanzie - Yeah, the Moose Drool beer I thought of cuz of NM, where is she???

AStorm - bout spit my coffee at your monkey book, as for what they are doing, better ask our nurse, NM she got me straightened out on some other "activities" a while back! Hope you have a great CdM tonight. Loved your story about the kitty who got out and how he managed to get back, so cute! I'm not that much of a beer drinker either and my DH won't touch it, I do like it sometimes, but usually will have a glass of wed wine, that's my fav. DH won't dwink much of anything in the booze realm except for wed wine. A dog beer is sounding really good about now! And that pitcher of margaritas looks wunnerful!

Claire - LOL at the Kilt Lifter, I do think men look so good in skirts, specially like the one AStorm found, wow!

Junie - Thanks for getting the PAR-Tay going!! Love that CdM wiggly hat pic! And the tecate pooch and the Tabasco sock monkey! Fabulous buffet, thank you thank you!

Well, I'll see you all on the west side...I did get packed so I'm heading out early if I survive tonight's party! I know Kathy will be rolling in here with that big bottle of Seagrams soon, hope we see HD, chrissy, goldie and all the other girlz soon...I'm hitting the buffet table and grabbing a lot of beers, margaritas, funky monkeys and whatever else I can get my hands on!! Happy Friday, Happy CdM, Happy Birthday Karen, Cheers!

    Hi girls,

I just wrote a long post and hit submit and poof, it is frozen. I am able to hit the back arrow and see it but can't copy since I use Mozilla. So I will just say it took me a half hour to catch up reading and I had a number of good laughs.

I hope everyone is doing well and hope to find a way to copy my text without retyping. I am fried and tired of typing, it is fried-dey, makes sense huh? Anyone wanna join me for some drinks?

Yay, Beanie, I bumped you. I am chilling on the hammock, join me for a bit.

And yes, I felt like crying for Kymn too. She is a brave gal and will get through this just like you did, Beanie. I am proud of all of you girls.

And happy birthday Karen, I can help you open those presents, I promise not to stuff my big handbag with any of your loot!

I got to get moving, my appraiser will be here at 10am tomorrow, have to clean up since my loan is with my own employer and I don't want any co-workers seeing the piles of laundry I have. I need more closets to shove stuff. Once my appraisal is done, my home loan will be approved, it has been a great few days for me, good things are a happening.

ps...did anyone see GMA this morning and the story about the Hummer Mom in Cal? Well I think I am like her except my work crush is 35 years old. Does that make me a cougar?

Sending you all thoughts of peace and lots of love.  And drinks, of course.  tiddup galfwends!!

    Nursing question for NM...

I meant to ask my onco but forgot, so I'm wondering... her nurse always does a fingerstick for a blood sample. Then she puts it in a machine and no one says a word about it (well, except several months ago they told me I am no longer anemic). Do you know why they do the prick instead of sending me to the lab (convenience or economy?) and what they are looking for? (can that little countertop machine detect tumor markers?)... anyway thought you might know or suspect ehy they torture me. Frankly I'd rather go to the lab cuz it takes a lot of effort to get enough blood out of my bony finger.

OMG I missed another partay! Thanks Gail for getting it started, and love all the pics. And junie, wow....you naughty girl! I really love your jumping hat pic.....hmmmmmmm......and the dog one too. And the buffet...yummmmm! I loved everyones posts, but had a rough day and am totally worn out and tired right now. The tenant that hadn't paid, promised my DH she would give him at least $500 today at 1 pm at our condo. She was moving out next week. Well, he waited and waited and she didn't show up, so he went in, and guess what....SHE ALREADY MOVED OUT! So she totally screwed him over, and last night on the phone was telling him how she will pay through the end of the lease, leave it spotless, yada, yada, yada. Really pissed us off, and got us both so upset all afternoon...she has ruined that new range we put in for her (top of line), has a big chunk out of the new wood floor, huge chunks out of one wall, apparently the disposal got jammed  and now won't drain, even d/w won't drain. $HIT!!!! And thank god I looked, and she even left 3 windows unlocked. Had the power cut off today, w/out telling us, so will be a hassle to get that back on. Thanks for letting me unload, it really is getting me down. Of course that was AFTER I walked for hrs at the gardens w/ g'kds. Dh couldn't go since he had to (we thought) meet tenant. Was nice to hear Percy Sledge tonight, and a Alabama Blues Brothers group that was real good.

Kymn, you have had such a hard time, and I hate that. Glad to see your giggle though!! And Gail, those were funny jokes too.

One of these days I am gonna ketchup with the pau hanas and partays! Drive safe in the morning Jeannie Beannie, and let us know when you get there!!!

    ChEARS to you lovely girlz!

Thanks Beans about my avatar, it's an old picture. Me BC (before cancer) The picture was taken right before heading out the door to get my hair cut as I had started chemo.

Late night for you Gail, not getting home until 10pm? As for the videos, I can't watch them if I am in the house on my lap top. Will try to remember when I go out to the office.

Love all the jokes, and Junie, you lucky dog you, what a great find that was (by the pool)

Kymn, good to see you, especially if you are giggling. Hoping things are moving back to the up side.

DorK, so glad things are lookin good for you too! I think we are all Cougars, or Jaguars. And sorry you lost your post. I ALWAYS do mine in Word, then copy and paste. Because of my weak signal in the house, they don't always go through. So I have it to paste and try again. I have lost too many posts.

Kathy, that is just awful what your tenant did. How long was she there? Maybe with your new tenants, you should tell them you will be coming in to check on things every few months. Glad you were able to have fun before hand.

Mitch, I found this you tube video, not sure if it's the one you were referring to or not....it is FUNNY.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nGeKSiCQkPw

    Karens b-day is tomorrow.

Gotta go find my hat for the Derby. Is ok if I wear last years hat? Will also try and watch Gails videos that she posted.

Thanks so much I so appreciate the back up on all techno problmes if I only I could explain my scaning issues and copying... sigh. Since I lost my computer geek I'll have to find someone knew.... oooh I all of a sudden see a weird blue light on my printer - hey that might be part of the problem. Thanks Goldie I think your techno vibes might have just helped me greatly!!!!

Happy Derby Day!! Kymn - I'm so happy you are feeling a bit better - two good jokes in one day!!! POLO"

Kathy- I'm so sorry - that just made me sick to my stomach reading about your tennant. The worst part is how she lied and conned you all. How can someone do that??? I so hope you at least had a large deposit from the crazy woman. Anything you can to her that wouldn't end up costing you all more? So sorry.

OK, off to the store for my wonderful sweet cousin and a friend are coming over to play!!!

    Hi chica babes,

Had to get up early so we can get 3 of the g'kids back. Then DH will see if he can do anything at the condo. Wish we could get something from her....but she moved to N'ville and just prob knows all the tricks in the book. One realtor (who does rentals too) told us to change the locks a couple of wks ago, but we also heard that is illegal, and we do try to do the right thing, so didn't do that. I guess she thought we might, which may be why she left 3 windows unlocked (I never would have looked for that if we HAD changed the locks). Gotta start thinking gangsta! My DH is always toooo nice to tenants and so often they run over him; we have had similar situations in the past. This one was here almost 2 yrs, but almost everything was new then and looked so beautiful. Just don't know how she took that chunk out of the floor. And no, Lori, we had less deposit than 1 mo rent would be (and didn't ask for last mo rent upfront). So she scammed us out of a lot. I kept waking up last night thinking about it and getting so down about it. But, as Scarlett said... "Tomorrow is another day"......is that right Mitch??? LOL.

Love your pink hat pic Lori...so beautiful...I remember seeing that before and you look so nice. I also liked your last avatar (most recent pic), but forgot to comment on it. But i can't say I'm sorry here.....ummmmm.....can I say "my bad"??? What is a jaguar? I know cougar...but....guess I'm not up with all the lingo. The BBQ festival was such a rip-off....$35 for wknd....Percy Sledge was worth it, but no other big stars last night, and a million tents w/ bbq'ers.....so the smell was awesome, but you couldn't buy or sample their bbq...only if you were 1 of their friends....so had to buy food from a few vendors at the other end...one had bbq but it wasn't so great. Today is the judging, and you get to sample, but have to put money in the boxes they have. Tonight will be Clarence Carter, but we have seen him free b4, in Tunica. Will try to see him. Won't go next yr, as you feel like an outsider, although you pay to be there....WTF???? Our Big Spring Jam is better as there are lots of name entertainers.

Beautiful day today though, so will try hard to enjoy it. You gals are awesome. Oh that drink you posted looked so yummy Lori...think it was yesterday? Maybe I will try it today, along with mint juleps. Is the horsey racey today???

    *Clink*!

Good Saturday morning, Loungettes! Sorry to have slacked off the last couple of days, but after spending all day on the computer at home I just didn't want to get onto computer when I got home, all I wanted to do was crash and sleep. I had forgotten how much work it was to work 8 hours a day 5 days in a row! Gotta get back in working shape, I guess.

AStorm-the fingerstick blood test could be for many things, but the most likely is for anemia, the same test they do if you fail the blood drop through the blue stuff before you donate blood. But, there are many countertop machines now that test for many things with just a fingerstick of blood. Ask them next time what the test is and when you will get the results, it's your right. The reason for doing tests this way in the office is primarily to have the most up to date info at the time of the appointment, more convenient for the patient, and more cost effective as these tests are pretty inexpensive to run once the equipment is bought. Some insurances pay the office a bit more if they do in office lab work like that.

    Happy Birthday, Karen!

Boy, talk about a lot to catch up on! Is the Cinco de NM partay still going on? I know I'm late but I really want one of those Funky Monkey drinks and at least one Poison drink! Both sound yummy and fun! I can't believe I didn't notice the 5 year mark until 2 months after it went by! I wonder if there's a meaning in that? Maybe I should make an appointment with the Counselor Parking Lot Nazi, hmm?

It's sunny and warm today, so I have GOT to get out and get working on the yard, but I am soooo tired all I really want to do is take a nap, and it's only 9 am! Talk about lazy.

Ok, as much as I want to comment to everyone, it ain't gonna happen unless I spend all day on the computer, and the condition of the yard will not let me do that without feeling very, very guilty. So Good morning to all, Hi to all, and have a good weekend!

    DOTD:The 5 Year Celebration

    6 oz Champagne
    1 1/2 oz Cognac
    1 oz Lemon Juice
    1 tsp Sugar

    Directions

Kathy, sorry about your tenant. I cannot fathom how people can do that to another person, I would feel so much guilt and would never....may a steam roller run over her face!

Kymn, my team went down, i did not even watch. Maybe next year. Hope you are feeling well.

I am sitting here ready, anxious for this appraiser to get here. I really kicked with cleaning last night and this morning and my home looks better than it has in a long time.  Dude was supposed to be here at 10am, he is late. He better get here soon or he will be taking pics of my bedroom with me in bed sleeping....yawn! too tired to even drink.

Hope you all enjoy the day, hope to catch up.

Yesterday I studied until my head hurt and then went out for Mexican food. I was thinking we would just go to the little place near our house but DH said I have been working so hard I deserved a nice night out so we went to a resort that has a Mexican restaurant. Their tequila list is bigger than the food menu! The food is not as greasy/cheesy (i.e., not authentic) but really good. We tried to drink a pitcher or margaritas but since I only drink one... ok, one and a half... we had to go for a walk on the beach after dinner and then I had to drive home.

the resort doesn't look fancy but you the views are beautiful and you can walk down to the beach (or they will shuttle you in a golf cart). We stayed there once for our anniversary. The restaurant has a view of the ocean from every table.

we got one of those comfy leather booths.

NM - thanks for the info. I will ask more questions next time. Although I walk in thinking that this is no big deal, I seem to realize at the last moment that I am a cancer survivor and the reason I am at an onco's office is to see if I have it again... which is just silly cuz my risk of recurrence is really low, but when I walk through that door all logic goes out the window... Congrats on your 5 YEAR MARK!!! That is awesome! I don't think I'll miss mine cuz I'm so looking forward to getting off the tamoxi-fatty pills. Yay, NM! I've got a little something waiting here for your future milestone:

Kathy - sorry bout that skank...  she's gonna have some bad kharma and probably will be remorseful for stiffing you. Some people seem to be able to justify cheating but it always bites them in the butt. ...

I'm raising a glass in celebration of NM's milestone and to all the loungettes at our various stages of  enjoying our lives!

    good morning girls,

Congrats NM  cant wait to be the one posting that. I wonder what I will be like in 5 years? I feel like I am in a cocoon right now and I dont know what will emerge. Everything about me seems to be changing I dont know if its the drugs they are pumping into me or the whole experience I am going through completly evaluating who I am, what I want, I wish I could escape my brain sometimes. I cant believe how my typing skills have gone into the tank, and spelling good lord dont even get me started its like that part of my brain has shut down. So weird.

Hope you all have a lovely saturday afternoon.

    Hugs Kymn

Hi Kymn Hang in there. I know so well how that time feels. I actually felt like a hermit, just really cocooned at my home with family, friends occasionally coming by. I actually didn't feel like seeing anyone too much...Also I was nervous to be around people in case of getting sick between chemo treatments. In five years Kymn you will be offering your comfort and advice to women who come after you and go through their treatments. I finished chemo a year ago and pretty much feel back to my old self, minus the boobs of course and aches and pains from Femera. Anyway my dear you just be strong, there is a light at the end of the treatment tunnel. I hope the snow has finally stopped in Alberta. Crazy winter this year but now here in Ontario spring is in full bloomCool yeah!!!!! Take care Lois

Found my Derby hat but having trouble posting it---poop!!!!!   No time to figure it out; we're off to a derby party.   I can't decide what horse I'm going to bet on.   "Twice the Appeal": ridden by Borel--he's my fav jockey.....or "Pants on Fire": ridden by a female jockey, Rosie Naprarnik.   Odds are about the same for the two just now.    Wish I really was at the Derby--such fun and excitement!

    TaTa, ladies.......have a great Saturday!!!

wow, did not realize it was derby day but yes, Pants on Fire sounds like the one!

Junie, have fun. Wish I could join you.

Lois, great words to Kymn. Come and drink with me at the bar!

Mitch, I searched high and low to find the answer to the mystery and did not. Maybe I am too drunk to read between the lines.

HD, how ya doing? Hope to see you later by the fire. I heard it will be roaring tonight.

Gail, that resort sure looks pretty to me. Sorry you had to waste some likker but nothing like a buzzed walk on the beach with the one you love.

Beans, hope you are having safe travels, try to check in.

Chrissy, me missed you. Have not bumped into you in a while. We need to get saaaa-mashed! Hope you are feeling well.

Karen, happy birthday. Please give directions to the party, I will be there likkery split!

Kristy, nice to see you....hope things are going well and that you are feeling good. I bet you are looking forward to summer and no school...lucky you, you can dwink all day hehe!

Risque, where are you? I think we needs to send the bus of us to find that cheating lil be-otch that screwed you and your DH. No one gets away with that. What can we do to her once we find her?  Hmmm, I ill be pondering that one.

Lori, love the hat, you always look so cute.  So can you give me a bitty hint on the mystery of mitch???

I am having coffee, I had a nice nap this afternoon and am having trouble getting started. My back muscles are hurting from doing so much cleaning but it feels good to have my home so tidy.

Well it looks like Pants in starting the fire, no not pants on fire, but our htl fire. It is gettting nippy here and I think I will sit on the hammock and watch the fire. Who can join me, anyone? I lift my coffee mug to each of you...will be lifting sumting heavier later perhaps!!

    Peace n love ladies!
