    Hi LadieZ.....

Finally back from my travels so joining the PAR-TAY!!!  Did the group ride to roof deck and saw the Blue Angels.  It cleared up so the view was fab.

Then a stop for veggies and back to fumigate.  Afterwards off to see the new digs of a former neighbor here where I live.  She snagged the most wonderful apartment.  View from her living room is across the Sound and a lovely view of the city from her bedroom.  Amazing.

She got this one on a short sale.  She made out big time.

I am back from some wine as she doesn't indulge, so I drank a lot of the open bottle she had.  Will have the rest with dinner.  Just fine. She was going to throw it away.

I snagged major veggies too.  Some malabar spinach for later in the week.  Fresh summer squash.  Melons, tomatoes, lettuce.  All just splendid.  First WA state peaches too.  Plus onions and garlic which I was running out of.  Two huge bags for less than $20.  I may go blueberry picking later in the month and then eat my haul.

Need to put the chicken in the oven and watch the sunset.  Thinking of everyone. - Claire

Hope everyone had a great Saturday! I spent the day shopping with DD for dorm stuff and back-to-school clothes. Wow, what a a difference it make when they start working and understand the value of a dollar... we got some great deals today. She looks so cute in everything though it is really hard to not want to buy her everything she tries on. I just keep thinking: enjoy it while you're young. Lord knows it is so fleeting and we wake up one day and have to throw out all the clothes that make us look lopsided or old or flabby!

Just got back from a bbq at friends' house... such a lovely home with lots of art and color and a "mermaid" pool ... good food, nice wine, and great company. Life is good. :)

    Happy Birthday Mitch!!!

Well, I'm embarrased to tell you...but what the heck...I'm working on junk in the garage and attic again...My DH says that for months I've just been shuffling things from one box to another and shuffling the boxes from one place to another...truly I have gotten rid of so much, but still way too much is still out there. We had dragged all this funiture and STUFF over for when we were going to build and now that we aren't building, well it's just in the way. So today a truck load is going to Savation Army, then later this month I have another truckload that I'm taking to put in my brother's garage - ha ha ha! Stuff for his kids - ha ha ha! We did have fun though going through some of our keepsakes yesterday...I found my Kitty Cuddles from way back. And DH's snoopy dishes and some old photos, etc. So neither of us could part with some of this STUFF and it all got shuffled into another box and put in another place in the garage attic...oh well...as I said I'm embarrassed to say after Junie told about her and her DH getting all their STUFF sorted and gotten rid of, seems she did it so quickly and here I've been working on this for months. Well my DH is calling for me to help him get this next truckload packed so I will say cherio for now.

Hope everyone is doing well and I'll see you for Happy Hour! Tud Up!

Oh such sweet pictures for Mitch, Beans! Love the critter....is that a guinea pig?

Well don't feel badly that you are not tossing things out as quickly as Bob and Junie did. She had a mission, plus they hired this big container for x amount of time, so that gave more incentive. I am sure Bob is glad now, that they did that, or he would be faced with it all. Nice that Salvation Army will be getting a lot of it! We have a truck that calls when they are going to be in our area, so we know ahead of time and can at least find 3-4 boxes of stuff to give them. BUT I have tons to go through too....was going to do some after my parents left last time, but did all that painting outside, instead. And they my mom came right back! SO my junk is piling up too. Good for you....and pat yourself on the back for doing as much as you have done!!!! I find when I go thru stuff, I go like gang-busters at first, then I find I am keeping too much stuff, after the first big rush! LOL.

Its quiet in the lounge today....Or is everyone celebrating Stanzie's b'day.....Wishing you many many more happy birthdays......

The TRI for the Cure had over 3000 women.....the education table wasn't too busy, but got to talk to many inspiring women...one gal had a bilat 4 weeks ago and walked the 5K part of the TRI....she was so happy to be able to chat with me and the other gal (also a survivor) to see that there is life after BC....lucky for her, she is done Tx.....  The women who "manned" the table with me is a 2 1/2 year survivor....but she smokes cigarettes!!!!  sorry if I'm rude, but whats with that!!!!  She called me this morning she was running late and her voice sounded like a smoker, then when she opened her purse saw the cigarettes....Hope I didn't offend anyone by my comment...I drank so much water I feel like I'm floating!!!!  good thing the porta-potty wasn't too far!!!!  Went to the store on way home to stock up on fruits and veggies...oh my, are they getting expensive.....Talked to DD this morning and then Mom briefly...MOm said they would call when they got to the boat, but I haven't heard yet.....just looked at the clock and realized that they might have sailed...either boarding is at 4 or set sail at 4....Sure  hope Mom can relax over the next week...Just left Mom a voice message on her cell phone....It will be weird not to be able to check in with her for a week...even when I was in Israel, I talked to Mom.

Going to figure out what I need to do today....Be back tonight....Hugs, Karen

Beanie - I hate clearing out junk. DH keeps threatening to have a garage sale... the only thing worse than going to a garage sale is having one at your house in my opinion. I don't even like it when stores have sidewalk sales. When DD moves out in a couple of weeks I will be taking over her room (she'll room with her sister when she comes home). There is a loft in her room where we have been storing junk and it is out of control! Not looking forward to clearing out that mess but at least I know I'll find all the photos and can work on getting them sorted and into books or at least boxes that are more organized. Looking forward to having a room to myself where I can stretch out my office a bit and decorate just for myself. Or... maybe I could strike a deal with DH that he moves the huge TV out of the living room and makes the spare room his man cave... then I wouldn't have to clear out the loft... and I wouldn't have to see him put his feet on the coffee table while watching sports and drinking beer which he never puts on a coaster... hmmm, that's tempting too.

My DH is a worse packrat than I am...right now he is into restoring old steroe equipment...and our crawl space is filled (and I mean filled) with his speakers and other stereo equipment...it definitely needs cleaning out....lots of kid stuff that I need to go through again and see what I want to save and what should be tossed...plus old work stuff...alot of that junk just needs to be tossed...not sure why I haven't thrown it out....the drawback to storage space!!!!

Geez you all are making me feel badly.....like I need to start tossing out junk!! LOL, J/K....maybe you all will be inspiration to me. Karen, it WILL be strange not to be able to talk to your mom. Does you DD get on internet cafes in the ports of call? Will be nice to be able to hear from her. Stanzie, Hoping you are having a really nice birthday today!!!!! Had Happy Hour with my mom after we were shopping and running errands all afternoon in this heat. Then while we were watching the heron land in her yard at the waters edge, and all the ducks, and she was enjoying her place soooo much, out of the blue, she asks me if my dad has ever been there? So I had to remind her he was here with her for 2 months during our snowy/cold winter, and then for 2 months till June 15. Sometimes her memory is so very sharp, and then can be so very vague.

Happy Birthday Stanzie!!!! Pau Hana girls!!! ChEARS!

Thank you all SO much, very sweet - no pun intended. Unfortunantly today hasn't been so good.... Was so so tired and slept through my alarm! All three of my kids were trying to wake me so we wouldn't be late for Dim Sum. So my son with DS... not sure what was going on but he was absolutly horrible at the Dim Sum brunch! It was awful, he wouldn't let anyone actually say a complete sentence, was rude and grabbing everything, kept asking to keep the chop sticks when he knows this resturant uses fancy ones and they are to stay at the resturant, Anyway, it was so terribly stressful. Then home. Tomorrow is his first day at school, so I start to make these muffins for the bus driver and teachers. Well, my other son deciedes chocolate icing would be good on the ones we keep. So he asks if he can make some. Sure. So I'm making the muffins and then I happen to look over.... well he is trying to stuff one of those 1 cup measuring cups into one of those coco powder containers and it is tearing the container and making a huge mess. So I show him how he need to measure it into a measuring cup as in glass one. So he does this. At this point I have no clue whether I put in the salt or not. A few minutes later I look over and he is trying to mix the whole thing in a two cup measuring cup ... hmm perhaps the 3 cups of confectioners sugar alternating with 1/2 cup a milk might make him thing this may not work???? Then he somehow missed the word alternate....? Now at this point I'm wondering why the muffin mix is so liquidy. Well trying to show my son to use the mixing bowl I got out and put right next to him... well I put in 2 cups milk rather than 1/2 cup! ARRRRR! So end up quadrupling the recipe... sigh and somehow must have added a bit too much baking soda as they are an odd texture. So took about 21/2 hours to makes these crazy things and I'm soooooo tired....

So then my friend comes over who alternates from being a mother hen to my kids and then the next second asking their advice so they sort of think she is a bit off. So we go swimming for a bit even though she came over to swim but forgot her suit so I did up one she can wear but she is self conscience about it so we have to deal with that for a while - she actually looks fabulous in it - Way better than I did when I was thin enough to wear it... sigh. Then my kids non-stop have to splash her and talk and fight pretty much right on top of us so we can't get in a word edgewise... so much for a relaxing swim. Then my other son decides to climb over the pool cleaner and steps on it and breaks it off at the wall - Oh Joy that will be expensive..... sigh! So we get inside and it is really late so I have to scramble to get my son who starts school fed and in bed and order pizza for the other two. Try to box up the muffins for school and that turns into a disaster and I just end up crying.... so much for my birthday...... I go upstairs to try and get it together while my kids eat. They come up to ask if I want to open presents they got me and I have to ask if we can just to it tomorrow in hopes it will be a better day. Just dead tired and have to get up at 6:00am! So off to bed ...... not the best day... I need sleep... Thanks!!!!

Oh Stanzie, that sucks! You should have just come to the HTL and hid out from family and friends, and stayed with your breast friends here. You know Pants and Jocks would have pampered you, and the Wenches would have made muffins for you to give to the teachers and bus driver. So, so sorry about how terrible your birthday turned out. I was thinking....sometimes my thinking is NOT a good thing...lol...but you have mentioned your kids acting up a lot lately, more so than you expect. Do you think anything is going on with their dad? Like has he remarried, or is he dating? Just sounds like they are seeking attention, to me, so I wondered if anything might be going on that is making them anxious or insecure? OF course kids will be kids, so it might not be anything, just a kid thing. Adding some hugs for you, to go along with Karen's hugs... (((((Hugs)))))

Remember, Mitch, what you wrote for Scarlett to say.... " after all, tomorrow is another day....."

Stanzie.....oh no!!!   RW said it right.  Tomorrow really is another day.

I had a wonderful day.  Or wonderful, if you don't count my neighbors' party which went on past 3 AM.  I am assuming they slept in.  I got up and went to church.

Then off for a training ride.  Highlights were having the train driver of the Union Pacific RR return my wave and smile!!!!

Also I did a good deed for the owner of a new rescue dog.  The dog is a pit bull cross and the sweetest.  But everyone had recoiled from him.  I told the young man that I would take a picture of his dog, but unfortunately didn't have my camera with me.  The dog was that cute.  Anyway, I was the only person who had said anything nice about the guy's dog, and he thanked me.

The poor dog was delivered from a terrible life with someone who abused him, and is the sweetest.  So a happy story.

Then I got back and went to the roof deck, read the paper, and watched the para-sailers.  Just so cool.  Even cooler is that the cinema that closed earlier this year is re-opening as an art cinema.  So great films and close by.  YAY!!!

Making dinner now with all sorts of fresh food.  Will watch the sunset.

And toast a glass to all of us at the HTL..... - Claire

    Happy day after Sunday gals!

Dear Stanzie, soooo sorry you had such a terrible day and on your birthday, you poor dear. I sure hope that today is a much better day. I am sending you a big hug and a few drinks to start your day. And yes, thank God for new days, I could not agree more. You do have so much on your plate and I feel bad for you. I hope you are able to get the pool cleaner fixed without too much expense and hastle.

My heart is sad today thinking back to this time last week and hearing the grim news on our Junie's passing.  I nearly feel like sharing some things she wrote on a PM but have decided to keep that for myself. She sure was funny and I really miss her popping in as she did and am sad to know that she will not be showing up here. I think I will head to the chapel for a prayer for her family as I am sure they are hurting so much more.

It is not even 10am and I am already bored. All I do is watch TV and putz around the house going no where. I did manage to gather all the trash and get it to the curb for collection and even that seemed to be a big task. I am hoping the trash men take all the old windows, we are supposed to call ahead for large pickup but they are good here and usually take everything. I mean they hauled my old bathtub away so I hope they do not have a problem with the windows. If I catch them, I will tip them and they gladly accept. The two guys are cool, they have their music blasting from the trash truck and my Lord, they are very strong and seem to enjoy their jobs.  When I lived in another town years ago, I would get post-it note warnings that I was not in compliance with the rules.  Exciting right, lol. That is the way my days go.

I have a bit of hope in getting my final JP drain out soon, the drainage slowed down quite a bit overnight. I can't stand this one, it comes out of my stomach and if I do not have it wrapped, it just stings so badly and is the worst source of all my pain. And I still feel like my damn tit is in my armpit. The doc said it is edema, ughhh, does that really last over two weeks?  I get depressed thinking about bra shopping as I will never find anything to fit me as I am now. Thanks alot, you rat bastard. Ha, I told him.  There are many times when I think hard that i am still in disbelief that this happened to me.  Pooooor me, poor poor me,  Pants, pour me a drink!!

I hope all you great ladies have a super fantastic day after Sunday!! cHEErs!

Good Day-after-Sunday, Day-B4-Tuesday, whatevah, whatevah, whatevah, just not the dreaded "M" day!

AAARRRGGGHHHHH I keep losing my posts.....will try again.

DorK, So sorry you are so bored. Wondered if there is anything passive, not physical you could do, like organize digital or actual photos, ketchup on correspondence, address christmas cards, sewing or mending.....etc. Is there anything you want to do that will be ok for you do to, right now? Hope so. I remember recovering from surgery is a totally different animal, because even though I might have thought I would ketchup on stuff, I really didn't feeel like doing it! So I do feel for you. Yes, a week ago today...seems like much longer since our Junie left this world. I also have lots of correspondence...hundreds (thousands?) of emails from her over the past 3 yrs...I have a bad habit of not deleting personal messages "just in case" I want to reread them...my bad. BUT now I have a treasure, and can go back and keep just the best ones. We will always miss her, thats for sure.

Hope Everyone will have a nice day today! Stanzie, Hoping today truly IS "another day", and a good day at that! Good idea to postpone opening the kids presents, till things are happier. You sure had more than your share of bad things happen yesterday. Like DorK, I also hope it won't be too much $$$ to repair the pool cleaner. Always something! Our phones messed up after the storms a few days ago...but we were so busy trying to get my mom's phone fixed, that finally called the phone co yesterday so they should be here tomorrow. So much static you can't even hear anyone. And now we have a HUMONGOUS pile out front, from that tall tree that had to be taken down yesterday. Unfortunately they piled lots of it on our grass, instead of all on the road....they thought they had it also on the sidewalk, but nooooo there is a lot on the grass. DH takes such pride in it that it will break his heart if they tear it up with the claw-thingie when it gets picked up. DorK, hope your windows do get picked up! Cannot believe they predict temps in the EIGHTIES tomorrow-Friday....that will feel heavenly!!!! Claire, you did not send that 60's weather to us, but 80's will be just fine! LOL.

Ciao for Niao, Holy the Cow!

Thinking about all of you today. Like you, I've been reading my Junie pmails. What a gal! Can't tell you how many times she brightened my day, and I'm missing that. So happy I have all those messages from her and they're still making me smile, and even laugh out loud. What a gift!

RW, I have actually done a few sewing projects, great idea to do more. I have so many shirts where the sleeves are too low and show my "ugly junk" and have taken then in on the sewing machine. I also had sewed an outdoor cushion where the darn squirrels tore it open on the bottom to steal the stuffing for their dumb stinky nest in my tree. Darn those rodents, their bed must be comfy. I think it really is that I just do not feel like doing anything. Just putting in a load of wash seems like so much.I hope that your DH's lawn is not damaged, my Dad is like your DH in that he could not stand to have one single blemish in his plush green lawn.

Allison, nice to see you stop in and share your sentiments. You sure do have a precious gift in your inbox - I am sure you will cherish Junie's PM's forever.  Like Kathy, I am terrible with cleaning up my inbox but are messages with my friends telephone numbers, addresses and such that I just want to keep and just don't see a reason to delete messages and am soooo glad I have saved those from Junie.

The trash men just picked up and did take everything. My contracter was thrilled to have them take everything away as he was going to do it but I told him I was pretty sure they would take it. Gosh my posts about trash are even boring my darnself!

I will wander around my compound and find something to do.  There are things I can do that are not vigourous, just need to get motivated. I think a dwink might work, Pants??  Will someone join me? Sounds more fun than organizing!!

Good Monday morning. Loungettes! Had a reasonable weekend at work, with the exception of getting calls from a woman who wanted her mother admitted to hospice services right that minute, which just isn't really possible, even during the week. And of course, those calls had to be coming in while I was getting and making a bunch of calls to coordinate the admission of a patient for IV services . Even the switchboard operator commented on how busy they were keeping me yesterday! When you realize that only 2/3 of my calls come through the service you can just imagine how much time I was spending on the phone. Ah, well, time to stop grousing and start living again-Pants, Jocks, what kind of good wakey-wakey dwinky can you concoct for me? Got to get up and running, the house needs lots of cleaning and since it's raining today now is a good time to do that stuff!

Goldie-I have no problem going kayaking in the rain, getting wet is part of the fun! Lightning, on the other hand, I do not want to take a chance with. There's foolishly tempting fate and then there is complete idiocy. While I don't mind being foolish, I am NOT an idiot! Was planning to take the yak out again today, but (1) the left shoulder is still very stiff and sore, (2) the house is a disaster and (3) thunderstorms, possible severe, are predicted for today. So I'll clean house and earn some good weather, and maybe take Sadie swimming later. At least swimming is close to shore and we can get out quickly if we hear any rumbles. Enjoy the day on the town with DH, and let us know how Cowboys and Aliens is-I've been thinking of catching that one myself.

DorK-I hope you found a really nice fridge at a really great price! A new fridge is a nice thing to have, I'm still enjoying mine, especially when the electric bill comes in! I laughed when I saw the barstool pics, new you all would like them, too! And I hope the last Pratt brother gets evicted today!

Beanie! What a ride! Woo Hoo!

AStorm-Of course the roller coasters must be the cause of the headaches, how could wine possible be responsible for something like that?????

Kymn-Have a great time at the anniversary party! Nothing like a good party with old friends to make all the treatment stuff recede into the background for a while. Sounds like a really nice trip you are planning for next year, something to look forward to!

Claire-glad the IRS thing is winding down. Tell, me, does crow taste like chicken to you? I've always thought it tasted like liver, yuckkkkk.

Dork-I have an old fridge in the basement/garage. It does work, if plugged in, but is such an energy hog that I use it for storing oil, gas, paint thinner, etc, anything that worries me about fumes and fire. Makes a great storage space. I don't see any reason at all why you shouldn't put your old one outside the woman cave. Paint it up fancy or funny and enjoy the luxury!

Wahine-Welcome back! I'm so glad the scan went well, and the results are good. Stress can do so much to our bodies and minds, if only it would do as much good as not good. I've been talking with the tenders, and they have agreed to make any kind of barstool any of us wants. Animal, hot butt, space age, just weird (funny, I think I heard Jocks mumbling something about how would we know what is weird since none of us are particularly normal. . . ) classic, reclining, vibrating, whatever. I got the impression the tenders would have a lot of fun with that assignment. . . . Really neat that the grandkids got to stitch on the 9-11 flag! I've heard that many airlines will waive penalties for people traveling for funerals, that is really a nice thing to do.

Claire-I'm going to raid the garden for greek oregano, basil, thyme and rosemary for a home made pizza for dinner tonite. Got farmer's market tomatoes to put on it, and going to try some goat milk cheese with the mozzarella, and lots of green pepper and onion, again from the farmer's market. Love fresh stuff! Yes, I'm going to make my own dough, too.

Karen-losing posts is such an aggravation! And to lose 2 in one day-YIKES! Congrats to the DS for the job at Whole Foods, will you be able to get a discount there now? Also glad the friend's testing has all turned out well. I bet your mom will relax once the cruise is well underway. I can't imagine anyone not being able to relax on a cruise.

Stanzie-maybe your kids are jealous of your visitors taking your attention away from them? It's so hard for teens sometimes, trying to be grown up but having children's fears. Still, I imagine it is very aggravating when they do stuff like that. The first shave will probably be quite the experience for your DS with DS. I hope he does ok!

Claire-blueberries are just coming into season here, and I am eating so many that I poop blue! Gotta get those antioxidents while they're fresh! Blueberry pancakes, blueberry muffins, blueberry crisp, blueberry soup, blueberry bread, blueberry smoothies, ah . . . Like most natives I have raked blueberries for money a summer or two. Hard, hard work. But the fringe benefits are very BLUE!

Beanie-de-stuffing is such a hard job. I've been doing the same shuffling thing in my sewing room. Got to get the trash can and "Salvation Army" box out again. The rule is spend 5 minutes a day, everything I touch must be thrown away, put in the box to donate, or put in it's place. I really wanted to be done with this project by now. Sigh. I even have a reward set up for when I get it organized-a new (working) sewing machine! You'd think I'd get off my butt and do 5 minutes of work a day. I'd rather go swimming or kayaking.

Karen-I hear you about the smoking. It always surprises me when I discover one of my co-workers is a smoker. Maybe that woman thought that since lightning had struck once she's immune to another strike? Who knows. I'm sure your Mom will be just fine and will enjoy herself, but miss talking to you, too.

(my apologies if I offened anyone, I just thought this cartoon was a funny play on words)

Oh, Stanzie, what a trying birthday day for you! I'm going to have the tenders designate a portion of the pool and poolside as a "no kid, no splashing, no loud noises" zone so you can visit with us in peace here. We'll also make it a "suit optional" zone, if you want! I hope you had a good cry and have a better day today. Wahine is right that something might be going on with the kids, maybe back to school jitters? Or something with their Dad? Or worried about you or someone else in the family, like a grandparent? Maybe you and/or their dad need to sit down and talk with them and find out what's going on in their minds?

OK, slight side track for a quick rant. I have a complaint filed with the State Board of Medicine against my Rad Onc. I never was notified of the hearing in the spring, so it got rescheduled to September 13th. Today I get a call that it's been rescheduled AGAIN, to October 11th. SCREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am now going to contact the governor, who appoints the members of the board and make a formal complaint about how my complaint has been handled. Or not handled, as it looks to me. Great, now I'm crying from sheer frustration and anger. Why did I ever think radiation would be helpful? Why didn';t I know it would just about ruin my life? Anyway, loungettes, I need to some research and make some phone calls and send some letters and e-mails. I'll come back when I won't be such a party pooper.

Pour both ingredients into an old-fashioned glass, and stir.

OK, I have contacted every member of the Medical Baord, every staff member of the Medical Board, the State Governor, all my State and Federal Senators and Representatives about not getting a timely hearing.  Trying to figure out if a local newspaper or one in Augusta would be best to contact about getting some public light shining on this issue.  Trying to think of anyone else that I can contact to get the hearing set back to Sept 13th.  I am so rip s$##ing mad right now.   I just want answers to my questions, is that really so hard???????????????

Hmm.  Maybe the state attorney general should be next on my list.

    Hiya goilies,

First off, that is the PURRFECT dwink, NM...the Fuzzy Pissbomb....just love the name, but maybe we need to add some strong likker to that! Sorry about all the $hit you are having with the rad onc hearing. However, I for one would not want it on Sept 13, as that is my b'day....lol, just want good things to happen on that day! But seriously, I do hope you can get someone to listen and to care, and to do the right thing regarding that hearing. Sheesh!!!! Hoping you don't let it get you down too much, and can instead take Sadie for that swim b4 the t-storms come in. Love the Smoked Ham/Cured Ham cartoon! Yes, some airlines waive fees for funerals, however the 1st agent I called told me it had to be an immediate family member, and they need documentation, the whole 9 yards. Also found that same info when I looked at their website. So I was flabbergasted when that last agent OFFERED to waive the cancel/change fees! Such a nice surprise, and totally unexpected. Funny about what Jocks said about "how would we know what was weird..."...LOL. Oh I love blueberries! Keep frozen ones in the freezer at all times, and love to add them to oatmeal or yogurt. They have 2 blueberry farms near us where you can pick, or buy already picked, but haven't been to them for awhile. Lucky you have so many blueberries in your neck of the woods! Cheer up, girlfriend, we are all here on your side!!!!

Stanzie, is your day a lot better today? Sure hope so! I painted with my mom for awhile, and now am waiting for the phone repair guy. Really need to clean house, but.....?

Love the pics about gettting rid of stuff, NM....I end up with the last box, mostly! LOL. To all our dear breast friends here, raising my glass to you all! My mom and I actually had a glass of wine mid-day, that was fun!

Sorry to want to have something like this hearing on your b-day Wahine.  I just want answers.  I know I need to be patient, but it's been 4 years and I still don't know how much radiation I got or how much I was supposed to get or why the idiot doc told me there was no treatment for lymphedema but wrote a whole treatment plan in his notes. . . Or why the hospital is still refusing to resubmitt the bill (self insured, so I can't submit a bill).  I want to make things INconvenient for that doc and the hospital, why should these things be scheduled only when it's convenient for HIM?  Deosn't my time count for anything?

Sorry to go off like that, but I am so upset, and my day has been totally destroyed, and there doesn't seem to be anyone in the system who cares about what I went through.  I mean, there are 2 days the record says I got rads when I didn't becuase I left after waiting for 2 hours past my appointment time and no one would talk to me!

OK, going to take a xanax and see if I can't get rid of this headache.

Can you drink with zanax? Prolly not, but if you could I would have Pants make you a humongous drink right now. That is just so horrible, but I am glad you are not giving up and still persuing it. I guess most patients would have lost patience and given up (sorry for the pun, couldn't help meself). Sure hope you get someone to care enough to listen to you and get a FIRM hearing date.

Beans, Lori, Gail, Claire, Kristy,Stanzie,Chrissy, and anyone else that did not check in to the lounge today, hoping you are A-OK! Allison that was sweet of you to stop in and say hello....stay longer next time! DorK, I know what you mean about really not feeling like doing anything. It will take your body awhile to heal, so don't worry about that. I get bored too if I can't do anything! Lori how are things at the Shady Lady and your western town? That is cooler than cool (even though its hot right now). We have thunderstorms AGAIN! Glad for it though as with the heat, everything is nice a green. OH, here is a pic of Aflac and Tonto and also the heron...took these pics today at my mom's. The heron pic was taken from inside her sunroom (Had to fit the camera betwn the wood blinds!).
