Remember that cake flavored vodka? Well, I mixed it with diet root beer last night, as I already had me a margarita buzz, and all we had here was that vodka or wine. So I chose the cake vodka and Root beer, and it was really tasty!!

Hi honeys, just got back from town. DH suprised me with chinese meal and niece and her fiance were there. Shared a bottle of rose with her and managed to stay on the chair throughout the meal.
Was up at 7.30 this morning but sulking, big lump on head and shoulder all swollen. Yet another pub i will not be going back to. Will have to lurk on the floor of the lounge until you turn up to support me.

Morning girlz! Gonna pick my mom up and go to a craft show in our subdivison, then hopefully will paint with her. She is SO close to finishing her huge painting. I just have fun, painting whatever I feel like doing. They invited us over for dinner tonight....dad will prolly grill steaks...yummmmmm. Hope everyone has a GR8 day, and lets get dwunk again!!!!!

Just got back from painting at my mom's...lots of Canada Geese were flying over the lake, right outside the window I was painting at. Then it started raining....buckets!!!
Bernie, I really DID NOT notice you had no teeth....maybe thats another reason you reminded me of Junie...she was going to have extensive work done on her teeth! But you remind me a little of her in your face too, and in your personality (believe me thats a compliment as we all loved Junie!). So now you know everyone here loves you too! I can't make out the pic you posted, so clicked on it, and your photobucket album came up. But the pic was still small.....can you post a larger one of it?

DH sent me a link this morning of the cutest....and I mean cutest 5 month old puppy that's looking for home....she's a newfie/great pyraness mix......needed to fill out a 4 page application for the rescue agency.....I sure I get approved....I'm in love with the picture....if you are on fb....a friend of mine posted the pic and I'm tagged so you should be able to see it.....will keep you posted....
DD and I went and had pictures taken today with a friend who is a photog....can't wait to see them....DS went snow boarding and didn't want pics of just DH, DD and me....didn't think till I was there could have had pics of DH and me and DH and DD.....everyone says its not a family pic without oldest DD (and of course SIL)....so next time they are in town......amazing how many shots a fantastic photog can take in 11 mins....all were taken outside......
its a cool fall day here...no excuse for staying in doors, but I haven't gotten my sorry hind end outside for a walk....but if I get that puppy, I promise, I'll walk her twice/day.... And by turkey day its supposed to be 68

I was trying to find the photo of Junie and her DH that you or Lori posted but could not find it. But I did find this. I believe it is, from the left, HD (with her face of computer parts), Jaybird, Lori, Junie and Kathy. I think that Lori put this together but know it is part of the HTL video. If anyone can find that photo of Junie and her DH, please post so that Bernie can see the resemblance.
Karen, would love to see the pic of the puppy! I hope you win. And wtg in finding a rescue. My lill'est WD is a rescue but she was six when I got her. It gives me great satisfaction to love her and try to make up for the time when she was abused.

I'm so bummed....ready for tears, but can't cry....damn, damn, damn!!!!! I faxed the application for the dog rescue....I was looking at the site, and the sweetie I had fallen in love with (of course its just through pictures on the site...never acutally met her)......it says "adoption pending" by its name.....I'm so sad.....I've been looking for awhile for the right rescue dog and this is the first one I've fallen in love with....don't really want a puppy, but 6 months isn't so young.......so now its back to searching.......
not up to posting....so will enjoy a few glasses of wine here at the HTL.....Pants....whats the best cabernet or merlot or shiraz that you have....start pouring....now maybe I'll just have to pour a glass in real time.....see everyone tomorrow

(((Hugs))) Karen. Well, if the other application goes through at least the cute pup will have a good home, even though it is with someone else. AND I bet there is another sweetie just waiting for YOU. Try not to be too sad, there are so many sweet pups who need homes. It may take awhile to find another one that you will fall in love with, but it WILL happen. I do know the feeling, but when it happened to me it wouldn't be long until I would find another pet to love, and wonder how I ever managed before they came into my life! Wish you could let those tears out though....you really need a good cry. Remember you have lots of gals who care a lot about you, right here at the HTL. I'll dwink a gwass of wine wid ya......*clink*... (Should we be hoping that other application does not go thru?)
