Cheers loungettes and thanks for an awesome partay. I am up for the MRI party, hope it goes smoothly. The hula photo is a riot!

Bernie, hope you're healing up. Funny, my friend from London has adopted Thanksgiving and comes over every year to celebrate, she's coming Wednesday, I have 15 or so for dinner. Really excited.

Karen, I agree with Kathy, the right puppy will come!

Well hope all have a spectacular week, hopefully a short one for those who are working.

    Cheers!

Oh Bernie, you poor dear. So sorry for the owies, but what a trooper you are to laugh about staying on your chair while enjoying some wine with your niece, DH and her fiancé. Please feel free to lean on any of the Tenders!

Kathy, can we see a picture of mom's painting when it's done? And Happy Birthday to your GS.

DorK, I hope you got Stella all packed and ready to ship out. As for your "girls", I'm sure you will make the right choice, I am just praying it all goes well.

Shannon, feel better girl. Champagne turkey.....sounds yum. I think we should have the Tenders cook that for us on Turkey Day.........will you make sure they get the recipe?

Cindy, LOL ...............a test after chemo school! If you have any questions or concerns, ask away......as I am sure someone will have an answer for you. And, of course we will be dwinking on Tuesday. That's our twofor day.

Juliet.....I say go for the Long Island!

Bernie, I can't make out your one picture either, but love the cartoon.

ScubZ, can I come for dinner too? Party for 15, I'm sure you will have fun!

Here is a different pic of our lovely Junie, a more whimsical one and it shows her personality! Definitely a resemblance with our Bernie.

    Happy Monkey Day

Good morning, Loungettes! Back from another weekend of work, busy Saturday, steady Sunday. Workiing on not freaking out before my pre-op appointment this afternoon. Lost the fight with Sadie for bed space last night, which means I was tossing and turning a lot and probably explains why I'm tired this morning. Oh well.

Mrs. Vino-I'm jealous of your cleaning ladies! Some friends and I are trying to get together to see a movie, maybe Breaking Dawn some afternoon/evening soon. I've only read the first book, that one was great!

    Beanie-{{{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}}

Goldie-ah, "tele-PSYCHO therapy," now I understand! Tomorrow I have my first therapy appointment. It's the old-fashioned face-to-face kind. And Sadie did learn her lesson. She gave me a very dirty look, but I told her I tried to warn her and she snorted and huffed off for a while. Didn't take her long to come back begging for marshmallows, though.

Hmm. Every time I try to type "f" or "g" I keep getting "fg" which looks very, very bad sometimes. Hmm. I wonder if this bit of pizza cheese stuck between those 2 letters has anything to do with this problem? Time to clean the keyboard again!

Claire-there is nothing much better than a sale on something you love to eat!

DorK-I have the same Pepperidge Farm flat bread in my fridge right now!

Tiedye-I LOVE fish! I am blessed to still live close enough to the coastline and to have family in the fishing business so I can buy very fresh fish right off the boat at boat prices. Last time I got 10# of fresh haddock fillets at $4 a pound. Packaged them up and froze them the same day they were caught. To me, fishing is not a leisure activity but a hard way to earn a living. I suppose I should learn to fly fish someday.

DorK-do you think I'll be less scared during my pre-op appointment this afternoon if I carry a ball of foil in my pocket? Good for you for cleaning out your files! I need to do more of that.

Scuba-The ALGAE sounds yummy, but I bet it looks funny in the glass!

Chrissy-just what part of Mr Bigg do you want hanging over your shoulder as you figure out your new phone??????

What did you think I was going to put here?

Goldie-the Big Sleep looks like it would work just fine for me! Maybe I'll make one for myself tonight.

Mrs. Vino-I am now very, very curious about your project! Dark blonde and blue for me. WHAT are you working on??????

Wahine-I still cannot understand why anyone would jump out of a perfectly good airplane. My mother did it when she turned 70, I've seen the video. She enjoyed it, though.

JayBird-must be nice to buy good wine right from the source!

Bernie-you fell asleep ON a barstool? You must have been tired! I suppose the stone floor of the pub was cool enough to double for an ice pack to keep you from bruising too much.

Beanie-anything else you want sewn UP?

Karen-a mother -daughter portrait, how wonderful that will be! Flight fares are a weird thing to figure out, aren't they? My aunt pays less for a flight from Maine to Los Angeles, one that stops in Las Vegas, than from Maine to Las Vegas. She just gets off at the Las Vegas stop. Glad you got good times and decent if not great fares.

Undercover-I've used Airborne before and it DOES work! Feel better quick!

1vamom-did you try one of the Big Sleep drinks from a page or two back?

Karen-I can't believe the puppy adoption didn't work out. I can imagine how sad you feel right now. No need to post, we'll assign Pants to you exclusively for a while. Here' s to praying your application gets connected with the perfect pup for you!

Scuba-an MRI party it is! Any excuse for a PARTAY!

Princess Glitter Sizzle says todays DOTD is The Cheerer Upper:

    1 oz Brandy
    1/2 oz Champagne
    1/2 oz Red Wine
    1/4 oz Lime Juice
    1/2 oz Peach Juice
1 1/2 oz Lemon Lime Soda

Best served in a Champagne Flute.

WOW amazing post again, NM!  However I am not quite awake yet, and when I read the words "Lost the fight with Sadie last night..." my heart froze. SOOOO glad you meant the fight of who gets the most bed space!!!! Oh I love fresh fish too! And amazing your mom did skydiving at 70....maybe something I should put on my list! My aunt did paragliding when she was 70 or 80, and wrote an article that was published, called "Jonathan Livingston Seagull on Wings". She was a talented writer and funny, and wrote a lot of our family history. She passed a couple of months ago, at 101. Love all your cartoons! And think I will partake in "The Cheerer Upper"...maybe it will wake me up too!!!

Lori, So glad you posted that pic of Junie, I have always liked that one. Did anyone notice the fingers on her left hand? She tried to do that in most photos....lol....she was such fun!

Can't keep up with everyone, but want to say hi to all, and hope for wonderful MonKey Dey!!!!

    Hugssssssssssss,

    Kathy

Cute pic, Bernie....ummmm sorta like life imitating art, huh? LOL. Hope you are feeling better! As to how to stop posting twice, not sure if you are accidentally copying it twice? You can look at the "preview" choice, and always delete one of the pics before posting, if you like. Doesn't bother me, though. And yes, you ARE very nice, as was our Junie! Did you notice the fingers on her left hand??

NM......luving that MRI party............cool man! And me thinks you been hanging around Kathy too much, wanting to know which PART of MrBig Allison wants hanging over her! Tutt tutt, for shame on you girls! I like the rip cord cartoon.

Bernie, on your photos, if you notice them duplicated before you hit the "submit" button, you can right click on them and delete. Or, you can always hit "Preview" instead, make your changes and then "Submit" or maybe it's "Save", not sure. Also, any pictures you find that are already on the internet, you can just copy and paste them. Personal photos have to go into a photobucket, or like account.

Hope all is well on this not allowed to mention day. Beanius so sorry about your friend, I just had another friend diagnosed last week waiting to hear results on size, type etc etc. My folks were down for the weekend, kept me busy, spoke to FAH this weekend he is ready to negotiate, apprenetly is starting councelling realizes he has huge issues, but not my concern right. I hope he follows through as for me I am going to start councelling too to deal with my co dependecy issues and make sure I never let something like this happnen to me again. Did a little Christmas shopping at lunch today, was hard , this will be a hard one to get through but I know I can do it.

ok back to work hugs to you all

Hi Kymn! Ugh, the dreadful Christmas shopping, lol. Hope you got some good deals!

Loved the picture of Junie, wish I could have met her. Didn't notice the left hand until you mentioned it, that's great!!

Bernie, good job figuring out the picture posts! Go you! I'm still having issues! Hope you are healing, love the falling people sign!! LOL!

Day one at ICONS is over, yeh! My last client re-scheduled for next week because she isnt feeling well and didn't want to risk passing along a cold to me. That was so nice of her!!

Also wanted to share this info I got from my pharmacist, as I didn't know, and it is helping bunches! We have met all of our out of pocket, so our prescriptions are $0 until Jan 1st. I'm sure I'm not the only one in this situation. Anyway, I told her I wanted to fill all my meds by end of year, so she went ahead and filled all she could now, put in calls for refills on scripts that needed them, and told me she would tag me to automatic refill scripts when ready, which should be once or twice before end of year. Here's the good part, she told me that all insurance companies allow at least one vacation override per year, and most people aren't informed. She told me to call the end of December and say I'm going on vacation, and need all of my scripts refilled, even if they're not due! I am so doing that, hope it helps some of you out as well. Vacation Override, who knew?

    Cheers!!

Good for you on the meds, Allison! I knew about the vacay override, as my mom fills her meds in HI and then ends up leaving some there (accidentally), so has to re-purchase. However this last time she already had an override, so she could fill up and come here, BUT when one was left behind, it cost her $$$ as the ins co would not do another override. I am HOPING the 3 mo of that med is really in HI and she will find it when they return on the 3rd....otherwise another big $$$ amount to get more. Really sucks doesn't it, how much money the pharmacy companes get!!! Glad you will save some money with that, though! And nice to share, as others might not be aware of it.

    Hi goil fwends,

I just came out of hibernation, took a long nap as Stella and Steve have to leave for the airport at 3:30AM and I think she is just going to stay up all night and sleep when she gets to her parents home early AM tomorree.

My PT lady scolded me todey cuz I have been over using my stupid arm. The palm of my hand is still numb but after doing the pt, i had some tingling going on there which pt gal seds is a good thing. I was really afraid I bwoke what de good doctor did to bix my hand. She suggested that I wear the splint more. ughhh, had it on for awhile today and jest hate that thing. I am pretty mad at myself and tink I need a spanking. Mr. Big, are you available? Oh, forgot to mention that you goils had me rolling with the sew it up, rip it out, sew it up. I finally get it. Sew it "up", literally. Me is slow somestime.

Kymn, I can't say enuff how prouds me is of you. You got through so much and I am a firm believer is that what does not kill us makes us stwonger.  I am sitting here on my twin pink leopard barstool and had Mr. Big whip you up a half dozen rye and cokes. Come on in, let's parTAY. Here's a toast to you *CLINK*!

Bernie, great yob in getting de pics to post. I did not mind seeing them twice though. And I agree that you really do look like our dear Junie.  I am exicited dat you gots de pic ting figuered out. YO GOO. I mean GO YOU!! How is your head and shoulder feeling? I was tinking of you today while in PT and someone else was dere who fell off a barstool. no kidding.

Allison, so glad you are back on your feet at de Icons. My PT girl complimented my nails and was surprised that I did them myself. I usually go clear but the nails on my right hand all bwoke short so I made a fake white tip to give them the appearance of longer nails. You would be proud as I had not done that before. The only issue is that the white I used was cheap chit, not OPI which I love and is pealing off. Me needs to bix dat using my bum hand. Anyway, can't wait to see your project, I am soooo curious. Oh, tanks for de tip on the RX ting, I will do that. Another is to have your doc write 90 day supplies of meds, I have that with all of my regular pills. I am another that hit that 10k out of pocket dis year.

Karen, hoping you find de right puppy dog, be patient and you will find a poyfect fit for your family.

Lori, you are not innocent, I know better. Don't make me tail on you. hehehe, you know what I mean.

Undercover, hoping you are feeling better.

Cindy, praying for good news from you girl. Sending you rounds of hugz n dwinkies.

NM, hoping that your pre op went well and that your counseling session goes just as well. It is truly hard to find a good therapist, I pray that your appointment goes well and that your therapist is able to help with your PTSS issues. Your posts today were amazing. I loved the one with the dude who pulled a thread instead of his ripcord. You are just so sweet to take all that time on your posts. And glad to hear your work weekend was alright.

Hello to Juliet and Shannon. Hope you ladies join in for Pau Hana. Dere are dwinks for yese here waiting for you gals.

Wahine, you described Bernie as a "tell it like it is" goil and Junie was also a lot like that too. She would not take any BS from anyone. Did your mom get her painting done? I would also love to see more pics of both of your artwork. You have a great talent. Here is a dwinky for ya, dwink up.

Scuby, hoping this week is a bit easier at work. I want to see photos of you dressed like the princess that you are! You are a beautiful gal but I have only seen you in your walking sneakers. I want to see my scuby princess. I miss ya around here. Praying for good zzzzzz's. I don't know how ya do it.

Beanie, I hope you and DH have a wonderful twip, I will miss you fo show!!

So did I miss anyone? I am going by memory so if I did, please forgive me. I have to get dwinking den get moving. I have my last load of laundry in the dryer now, time to get dose clothes out and put away or in Stella's suitcase. I really do not have much to do except to gather all de items on my list and get them organised and in de suitcase. Pray dat de luggage makes de twip. Last time Stella went to Moytle Beach, her luggage was still in Atlantic City. Damn those airlines, can't figure out for the life of me how DH's suitcase made it and mine did not. I got paranoid that dey found me contraband.

Well gosh, I could keep writing but have emails to catch up on and have to call my DD who is so graciously going to commute back and forth to college to care for my fur babies. I had to take a bank loan to give her enough money to make her do it. Really thoguh, Stella could not go away if my darling daughter did not help. I will miss my fir babies so much as I know they will be lonely...at least they have each other. they are so cute together, they are best fwends fo show!!

Well de dork is rambling. well de dork is dwinking.  Well, how many times can I sez well.

Happy trails my friends, hope to have access in SC so I can keep up. I have decided to take both laptops so that I do not have to share with DH. We will have a lot of idle time as I do not like to go anywhere without my parents and my mom moves very slow. Well me must move on now, for wheel dis time. CheerZ ma ladies!!

Oh Stella, Hope you might try for a least a widdle bit of sleep tonight, but agree that when you have to get up that early, it almost makes sense to stay up. Notice I said "almost"....LOL You are a silly girl and I hope you can get online while you are there, as we would miss you too much otherwise! Give your parents a BIG hug from us here, ok? They sound so sweet, and I am so glad you will get to be with them again! Hey don't feel bad, at first when I read "Sew it up" I thought she was sewing it closed! Thats why I got out my seam ripper....lol. Took me awhile to get it right, too. But we would NEVER cover up Mr. Big's big butt! NO sireeee. OK, is he thru spanking you yet??? I hear some giggling and happy sounds, NOT screams of torture.....you are enjoying it waaaaay tooo much! Have safe travels tomorrow, and hope your luggage gets there when you do! Hugs, Kathy

I have not figured out my ghetto phone which is an antique.Don't scold me for not yet using the calendar feature. Scuby can attest that I am still a terrible time keeper.

Happy Thanksgiving to you too. Do you celebrate the same date as we do in the US?  If you have not read, we are leaving for SC in two hours. Funny, last time I was there, I had you on my mind as I came home to receive you. I wish we could do it again soon.
