Ok....may need to add a "mild food" bar at the HTL. Finally got to talk to dr a few min ago...he kept not thinking it was me, said I sounded like I was 15 or so. ANYWAY, I do have a large ulcer, and a couple smaller ones, which causes the irritation (gastritis) too. FUN. But I am NOT having this done again right b4 my trip, will have it after I return, even though it is a bit later than he wanted to redo it. HOPING it will be much better then, or we'll have to explore more options (never a good sign).

I have to tell you gals...I really have trouble reading your "english"....maybe its cuz I used to reading fast and skimming and getting most of the message....this takes me forever to read...and to be honest, I get so frustrated that I skip much of it....but then I miss out on whats going on.....
Luckily what I had on the calendar for tomorrow got cancelled, so I have the day to clean and cook....just what I need....today I went with DD's language arts class to see Taming of the Shrew.....and then spent the rest of the day going to a couple different grocery stores...but at least thats done......
Mishca is laying by the front door waiting for DH to come back...he took DD to a class....I have pick up duty in an hour!!!! DH must be home now as both dogs are at the door whining
Finished the bottle of wine at dinner...only one glass...not sure if I want to open another bottle...I only have 2 left.....I order my wine online and need to wait till late tomorrow afternoon to order it so it doesn't come till next Th.....no one is home on Wednesday....and it comes FedX and requires a signature......forgot to order it early this week to come tomorrow.....so trying to make 2 bottles last a week!!!!

LOL Dinka! Looks like you got the message (fwom us)! Oh gosh, I sure hope you don't get hit with bad weather AGAIN. That is just so scary, and it's so sad when there is such devastation. I watched something on tv the other day from that terrible tornado last year. Couple buried, her shoulder ripped open and she was using her blood to keep herself and her hubby/bf warm. Just horrible! Sometime I just hate Mother Nature. Hate that you are dealing with those tummy issues, but I think I would wait until after my trip as well. Hope the "mild" stuff helps you.

Hope no one caught that bullet that we dodged last night. Whew...bad weather missed us somehow. Lots to do today. I started sewing a top last night, so need to git it finished. Still have more to do at my parents house, and maybe, jest maybe I can get some of my house clean too. LOL, thats a BIG job!!! Scuby, my dr said there was a "glitch"the day of my procedure...yeah, a glitch alright...but HE was the glitch! I am glad he knew I was upset about not getting the results sooner. HE is doing 14-17 procedures a day on his surgery days, so how the heck can he "remember" each procedure if he doesn't dictate right away?? He did remember things he said to us in recovery, so I am hoping he was accurate in what he told me. Gotta get rid of those ulcers as I sure don't want surgery, or whatever.

Today I'm soyving up the FRIED-DAY BIX UP Cocktail
Ingredients:
4 teaspoons powdered sugar
¾ cup soda water
1/3 jigger orange curacao
1/3 jigger triple sec
1-1/3 jiggers brandy
a few bottles of wed wine or claret, JD, Seagrams, and Wodka
In a large pitcher dissolve sugar in de soda water. Den pour in da cuacao, triple sec and bwandy. Add ice cubes and fill up da pitcher wif wed wine. Decorate wif mint sprigs and lollipops. Dwink da punch and if you run out then don't foyget you have a few more bottles of wine, JD, Seagrams, and also plenty of beer and wodka. Party hardy and have a gweat Fried-Day!!

LOL Beans, Love the yokes, and de purty lollipops and de yummmmmmy dwink! And so smart to add JD and Seagrams as needed! You iz 1 specual gal! Hope you will call de dr too, as our Dorkaboo did. Well, gotta splain tings here.....the dr actually is very good, and very caring, this wuz a case where he started using a new surgery center (added to the usual hospitals) and he jest cudn't get de hang of their dictation system. So the "glictch" was on the day I had the procedure. The wk b4 someone walked him thru their reporting process. Next Friday, my day, he wuz on his own and could not get it dictated. The following Friday, all went well (I assume someone walked him thru it again), cuz when he tried to dictate from my Friday, it still didn't go thru. AND he is setting up his new practice (left other one cuz didn't like some things they did there), and couple nurses came with him, but office staff is new, plus he says is still understaffed. I just wish I had stated I wanted to talk to HIM earlier. SO yeah I will give him anudder chance as he did several procedures for my DH as recently as last yr, and all went well, at the hospital. I do like the convenience of the Surgery Center, as it is very close by, and much easier for parking,etc than at the hospitals. Perhaps after my trip, it will all be bixed!!!! So sweet of all of you to care so much, and I do luv you all for it!!
