Ahhhhh....can't catch up after just a few days, too many posts!! No school today but had PT/OT this morning at 8:00, so no sleeping in. However, DH did go with me and we went out for breakfast after. I rarely eat breakfast because I never have time before work. The perfect time to eat breakfast is about 9:30 or 10:00, but my principal seems to frown on me eating Pop-Tarts in the classroom!! Brunch is the perfect meal.

Kathy, I don't know JACK or $HIT about ulcers, but hope they can clear up on their own. DH had them, but they must have been small, and he just does the omeprazol on a daiy basis and has to be scoped every 5 yrs (I think) Also has that Barretts Asophogus (sp). AND glad you did not get hit by that storm.

Dats all u gots at say! And mese loves pink. I did the Komen 5K race (3.2 miles) every year in honor of my Mom. Missed last year cause of surgery, etc. it's always in October here. Well, friend of mine is doing same race in Indianapolis April 21st in honor of me and her aunt who lives in Indy, and was diagnosed two weeks after me. So I signed up Aubrey and I, and we are walking it with her! Also have two other friends who are going with us and taking their young daughters. When I signed up, I signed up as a survivor this time, so get a pink shirt. Hell, I've earned dat Fn shirt, and I'm gonna wear it! Lol. Anyway, Scuby, thank your friend for thinking of you, cause that was sweet of her. People on other side don't really know what to do, she just wants to help. But tell her the dr said no way to u, specially 60 miles and three days!!! Geese la Pete! Ours will be over in an hour or so, then we are going shopping! Much different.

Lawrri, My Dh has barretts esophagus too, but our dr likes to do his scopes often. He is due for another (gets both ends done) in April, and it was either 6mo or 1yr since last one. He started on the Dexilant (was taking what your DH takes) too, and I think will go back to the other in a few months. I asked the dr which med is best and he said he has had some pts have success with the dexilant. Yeah, with the big ulcer, it is more dangerous, and I sure don't wanna have surgery there....so twying to eat mlld things. He also got me off ALL my supplements, vitamins, etc till my next scope...said chewable multis would be ok...not as hard on the tummy. And I was taking a lot of Chit! That JUPITER COCKTAIL sounds good, but wth is "parfait amour"? Sounds like it should be something yummy!
Alli, You are so good to go to the gym, I need ta get inspurrration from ya! Ha, ha, getting ready for Stella....and Aubrey getting a big sister!

An update before I go back and play ketchup. Short version: by the time I got to my PCP's office I was in status asthmaticus, which is the medically horrifying way of say bad asthma attack that won't stop with the usual breathing treatments, got loaded into a ambulance, sent to the ED, and ended up staying overnight last nighy. Got back home about 7 pm yesterday evening. The good news is I don't have pneumonia or bronchitis, I don't have a blood clot. I don't have an infection but I'm on 2 antbiotics (couldn't get a straight answer about that one). I'm on a mega dose of prednisone, tapering down, and still feel pretty tired. HOWEVER, tired is OK. Anf for those of you who worry about me being alone I've got a whole bunch of people keeping tabs on me, some by phone, some by text, and Ive got every thing I need right here in the house for a few days And I got scared enought that I am going to do EXACTLY what I've been told to do (and not do) until I see my PCP next week. BTW, I know it was all the prayers and good wishes from here that kept things from going from bad to REALLY bad, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Whew....I knew we had a reason to PARTAY today....NM is back at home and on the mend!!! What a BIG scare, and so glad you got to your dr and to the ER so they could take care of you. So scary that it was already so advanced. We were right to be worried, and so glad our prayers helped. ALSO glad you are going to do as they told you to do!!!! We love you and miss you....can't wait till you are all well and can post your wunnerful posts again. (((HUGS)))

Just a thought.....are we gonna have an Oscar Partay tomorrow night?
